    Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of the Kingdom of Eswatini, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.
    Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".

  • 15.04.2024 In the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile" for the Android operating system, tools for editing vector data have been implemented
    In the KB Panorama, a GIS "Panorama Mobile" version 1.5 for the Android OS has been developed. The new version includes the ability to create, edit, and delete objects on vector maps, undo previously performed actions. Support for the dark theme of the OS has been improved and data management tools have been expanded.
    The GIS "Panorama Mobile" implements functionality for creating and editing objects on vector maps. To create an object, the user sequentially performs several steps: selects the type of object to be created from the classifier, specifies the metric information of the object on the map, and adds text if the created object is a label. A dialog is developed for selecting the type of object to be created, allowing the user to filter available objects by object localization or by classifier layer. Placing an object on the map is a universal action that allows adding points of the object at any location within the object's contour, moving them, and deleting them. Similarly to creating an object, the functionality for editing the metrics of an object is implemented. To prevent accidental placement or editing of an object, the action is confirmed by pressing a button. In case of a mistaken action, the user can undo the last operation or revert a mistakenly undone action.
    In the new version, support for the dark theme of the operating system has been improved. The functionality of the data list has been expanded. Now, the user can control the visibility of individual document layers to obtain the most clear image for working with cartographic information. If the user needs to switch to an open document, they can use the "Go to" option in the context menu of data list elements.
    GIS "Panorama Mobile" allows users to open major GIS "Panorama" digital map formats on mobile devices running on Android and process information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. Users can prepare the necessary set of spatial data in one of the desktop products (GIS "Panorama", "Panorama Editor", GIS Panorama Mini), pack them into a ZIP archive using standard tools, and transfer them to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile". Data processing is done autonomously, without the need for an internet connection. As the user moves, their current position is dynamically displayed on the map based on coordinates received from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. For user convenience, there is an option to synchronize the map's position with the current location. To save the coordinates obtained during movement, there is a track recording mode that creates a separate map and plots the movement trajectory on it. Basic information is provided for all map objects during operation.

  • 12.04.2024 A complex of tasks was developed for the analysis of materials from Environmental Monitoring and Analytics
    At KB "Panorama", the Environmental monitoring and Analytics version 15.2.1 has been developed for processing and analyzing data obtained from monitoring measurements of the terrain at a network of observation points. The complex is installed in addition to the professional GIS "Panorama" and provides an operational assessment of the current state and development of the observed process, phenomenon, or event using retrospective analysis of spatial data.
    Monitoring measurements can be carried out at a network of stationary observation points or in the form of field measurement tours. During observation, several indicators can be simultaneously recorded, providing a comprehensive characterization of the observed object. A flexible system of settings allows grouping indicators with reference to the monitoring direction, including pollution of atmospheric air, water bodies, soils, subsurface conditions, biological resources, radiation situation, lands, permafrost, waste management from production and consumption, coal dust content, wildlife objects, surface waters, soils, and others. To assess the state of the observation point network for monitoring indicators, a visualization of the observation network scheme is provided, visually displaying the current status of the point using special symbols against the background of a topographic map.
    Formalized monitoring indicators, recorded in numerical values using measurement tools, are used to determine the numerical values of indicators related to the assessment of the territorial development of the observed phenomenon, event, or process. The capabilities of "Panorama Vision" can be utilized for this purpose. For example, to determine the area of flooding resulting from a flood, this product, based on neural networks and artificial intelligence technology, enables the decryption of photos (satellite, aerial, from UAVs) and recognition of the boundaries of the flooded area. "Panorama Vision" is a cloud-based platform solution that allows for quick and efficient object recognition tasks on images in the form of a digital service.
    The incoming monitoring indicators are stored with a time reference to the measurement moment, allowing for the reconstruction of the indicator field based on a set of several observation points in the form of grid models - matrices. Prior to constructing monitoring indicator matrices, filtering and noise removal in measurements are performed using mathematical statistical methods. Isolines and homogeneous zones - areas are constructed to evaluate changes in indicators based on matrices.
    Matrices, isoline maps, and areas associated with different time points are combined into datasets - temporal data series. Tools for retrospective analysis of monitoring indicators provide simultaneous display of temporal data series of matrices, isoline maps, area maps, and graphs showing changes in indicators at specified observation points. Reports and analytical references can be generated to document the analysis results.

  • 11.04.2024 In the "Workstation of the urban-planner", the tools for analyzing spatial data obtained from various sources have been enhanced
    In the KB "Panorama", the "Workstation of the urban-planner" version 15.2.1 has been developed. The new version includes tools for managing the display composition of the map based on selected objects, an expanded set of connected data sources from the Rosreestr geospatial portal. The tools for generating and analyzing lists of objects have been updated, and the process of initial user authorization when connecting to the urban planning database has been changed.
    A new item "View - Selected Objects" has been added to the main menu of the program. It allows launching modes designed to establish the map composition based on selected objects. These modes include "Show Only Selected Objects", "Hide Selected Objects" and "Reset Display Parameters of Map Objects". Using the modes on the main panel "Arbitrary marking of object" and "Marking of objects for equivalent image (type)", individual objects or categories of objects can be chosen. Modes for managing the display of selected objects include "Show", "Hide" and "Reset". The set display conditions for map objects can be saved in an MPT map project.
    The ability to connect additional layers of the "Public Cadastral Map" service has been added, including: Cadastre Value of Land Plots, Land Categories, Types of Permitted Land Use, Lands for Construction, Lands for Tourism. When managing territories, accounting for land plots and real estate objects, and planning urban development activities, these thematic layers allow visually assessing urban and rural areas.
    An important set of GIS specialist tools for creating infrastructure maps is processing lists of objects. In the new program version, the corresponding dialog has been updated. The ability to cut and split objects belonging to complex lists containing objects from one or several maps opened in one window has been added.
    The algorithm for connecting to the urban planning database with multiple open map windows has been changed. A separate instance of the Complex of Urban Planning Tasks is launched for each open window, which connects to the database. In the program, access to the urban planning database is requested only for one active window.

  • 10.04.2024 An educational video material was prepared on the formation of linear coordinate systems of objects in the GIS "Panorama" by specialists from KB "Panorama"
    The video tutorial covers the operation modes of the "Linear Coordinate System" panel in the "Map Editor" task, which is part of the GIS "Panorama", "Panorama-Editor", and other software products of KB "Panorama".
    A linear coordinate system (LCS) is a system for measuring linear coordinates along the contour of an object from the first point of the object to a specified point. A linear coordinate is a measurement in meters along an axis that passes sequentially through all the contours of a linear object from the first point of the metric of the first contour. The definition of a linear coordinate system is performed relative to established calibration points located along the object's contour. The main purpose of calibration points is to facilitate the transition from flat rectangular coordinates to linear coordinates along the object and vice versa. Calibration points are typically created based on real point objects located along the contour of the linear object.
    The educational film demonstrates the application and creation of linear routes, calibration points, linear and point events. It shows the placement and saving of pickets as point symbolic signs, and analyzes the correctness of the values of the linear coordinates of the calibration points on the route.

  • 08.04.2024 The digital classifier for creating territorial planning schemes in the Russian Federation has been updated in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Economic Development order No. 698 dated October 6, 2023
    Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared a new version of the digital classifier for creating territorial planning schemes terrplan.v6.rscz. The digital classifier complies with the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated October 6, 2023, No. 698, which came into force on April 1, 2024. Based on the requirements of the order, changes have been made to 81 layers: "Educational and Scientific Objects", "Recreation and Tourism Objects", "Railways", "Roads", "Electric Substations", "Power Transmission Lines", "Wildlife Protection Objects", "Areas at Risk of Emergencies", "Other Zones with Special Usage Conditions", "Objects of the Unified State System for Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies", "Water Transport Objects", and others. 135 objects have been added to the classifier, the appearance of symbolic signs and color palette has been updated, and lists of values of classified attributes have been supplemented. Changes have been made to conditional and mandatory attributive characteristics of objects. The digital classifier terrplan.v6.rscz is included in the GIS "Panorama" for mapping objects of federal, regional, and local significance necessary for preparing territorial planning documents of the Russian Federation, subjects of the Russian Federation, and municipal entities. The updated classifier is available for download in the "Classifiers" section.

  • 05.04.2024 Educational materials on performing operations on sets of objects in GIS "Panorama" were prepared
    Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on working with the "Lists of objects" mode, which has been added to the "Map Legend" task in the GIS "Panorama", "Workstation of cadastral engineer", "Workstation of agronomist", and other software products of KB "Panorama".
    The "Lists of objects" task is designed to save the criteria for selecting objects from all open maps and is divided into modes for creating and editing object lists, operations on lists, and creating and editing thematic layers. The formed object lists are saved in a file with the extension OBX.
    The video tutorial demonstrates the functional features of each tab and provides examples of operations on object lists, such as:
    - "Building a buffer zone around list objects", which allows you to create a zone around the selected list and record the result as an object on the map. This mode enables processing of objects of area, linear, point, and vector localization.
    - "Finding intersections" is designed to search for and highlight objects from two or more lists by selecting intersection conditions or searching by distance between objects in the lists.
    - The "Union/crossing of the sets" mode allows for building intersection areas of lists. The results of the constructions can be placed on a separate map.
    - The "Cutting objects from the list" mode allows for cutting area objects from the list out of area objects. In the dialog, there is an option to specify whether to align or not align the points of edited objects with the points of reference objects during the operation.
    - "Splitting objects by the list" is designed to cut area, linear closed, and open objects with linear objects from the list.
    - The "Find nearest neighbors for list objects" mode searches for the nearest object from a control list for each object in the analyzed list. The search results can be recorded on a separate map.
    The video tutorial demonstrates ways to create and assign views for thematic layers of object lists: default view, which is generated with the option to replace colors; custom view, which is set using the "Assign a custom style" mode.

  • 04.04.2024 The map of the Administrative-territorial Division was updated on the "Spatial Data Bank" geospatial portal
    Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared and placed on the "Spatial Data Bank" geospatial portal a map of the Administrative-Territorial Division of the Russian Federation, including new regions. The map includes the territories of federal districts, subjects of the Russian Federation, administrative districts, administrative regions, inter-settlement territories, rural and urban settlements. The OKATO, OKTMO, and GAR codes correspond to the data of Rosstat and FIAS. The map can be used for analysis and assessment of the territory of the Russian Federation and its subjects, assessing the length of borders, and as a basis for creating thematic and special maps.
    The map was created using OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

  • 03.04.2024 The GIS "Panorama" facilitates the search, systematization, and viewing of volumetric BIM models and their attributes in a specified area
    In the KB "Panorama", the GIS "Panorama" version 15.2.1 has been developed. The new version includes tools for viewing the 3D geometry of a BIM model of a construction object, building, structure, or complex of construction objects and the associated attribute information of model elements (such as material, article, and others). BIM (Building Information Model) is an object-oriented model consisting of elements, each belonging to its class - walls, floors, windows, reinforcement, and so on. The class of an element defines its set of properties and behavior. The IFC format is supported in this task - an open standard for representing BIM data. To assign a BIM model, it is necessary to select an object on the map and, using the "Select object" dialog on the "Semantic" tab, specify a link to the file (semantics: Link to BIM model file). BIM model viewing is done by double-clicking the left mouse button on a row in the table with this semantics. To view the list of BIM models in the open document, select the option from the main menu - View - List of BIM-models - Show. In this dialog, modes for viewing the BIM model and navigating to the map object to which the model has been assigned are available.
    To thematically highlight (colorize) the list of BIM models on the map, it is necessary to select the View - List of BIM-models - Select item from the main menu. Objects on the map will be highlighted, which semantically have a filled link to the BIM model. The style of highlighting (symbolization) of objects can be configured in the View - List of BIM-models - Selection options dialog. When object highlighting with BIM models is enabled, quick selection of the nearest BIM model to the cursor on the map is available. Clicking the left mouse button anywhere on the document will bring up the BIM model viewing dialog. Control of the visibility of the thematic layer of BIM models is performed in the "Map Legend" task on the "General data list" tab.
    The "View BIM model" dialog is presented as a 3D image and a tree of model attributes. Scaling of the model is achieved using the mouse wheel, and rotation is done by pressing the left mouse button and moving left, right, up, or down. An element of the model can be selected either in the attribute tree or in the 3D view window of the object. Accordingly, transitioning to the element will result in its subsequent highlighting in the 3D view window and attribute tree.
    In the new version of the GIS, the library of programmable symbols shape.iml64 has been enhanced. The sign "Polygon with proportional filling" has been developed. This sign is intended for decorating area structures with a simple outline (without sub-objects). The parameters of the sign contain a description of the average line, central vector sign, and 4 parts of area filling. When entering the parameters of the 1st part, filling of the conditional half of the polygon is performed, bounded by half of the contour (from the first to the middle point) and the average line. When entering the parameters of the 2nd part, filling of the second half of the polygon is performed. If there are parameters for the 3rd and/or 4th parts, filling is done with conditional quarters. The order of filling quarters corresponds to the order of parameters of the 4 parts, starting from the first point, considering the contour numbering direction. Contours with less than 5 or more than 255 points, or with sub-objects, are filled according to the parameters of the 1st part. Sometimes contours containing more than 5 points may intersect with the average line of the polygon. To exclude this effect, it is necessary to select an object on the map, go to the "Metric" tab, select a contour point, click "Set first point", and save the sign. It is recommended to choose a point closest to the center of the sign. Examples of new signs are contained in the shape.sitx map, which can be opened in the main menu: File - Example data - select the map in the folder: c:\Users\Public\Documents\Panorama\Panorama15\data\shape.
    The signs "Circular diagram" and "Bar diagram" have been improved. Usually, a legend of
    the diagram is drawn to the right of it, containing color samples and labels with values. To exclude drawing the legend, a rule has been introduced: when entering a label height of less than 1 millimeter in the parameters of these signs, drawing the legend is disabled. Examples of such signs are also included in the shape.sitx map: "Simple сircular diagram" and "Simple bar diagram".
    A tool for centralized updating of service XML files (coordinate system parameters, quality control parameters, and others) has been incorporated into client workstations for updating or adding these files on the GIS Server. For this purpose, in the Data placement dialogue, the Host field must be filled in with the reference classifiers on the GIS Server. In this field, the host dress is set, where the GIS Server version is not lower than 11.1.0. In the GIS Server Administrator, the Shared folder for classifiers on the server must be filled in. The XML files that will be placed in he shared folder for classifiers on the GIS Server will be automatically updated or added on the client if the GIS Server host is specified. To reduce network load, updates may be delayed by tens of seconds.
    The control of the vector map has been refined. When checking object exits to the sheet frame, the range of allowable values for the alignment threshold with the frame has been extended to 0.00001 millimeters of the map. The default value of the alignment threshold is retained at 0.01 mm. Lowering the threshold value enables an improvement in map quality: when conducting control in "Editing" mode, automatic correction of detected errors is carried out.
    The task "Correction of objects metrics", which is part of the task group "Check and correction of data", has been improved. In the mode of "Line interpolation with a specified step", the capability to remove original nodes of the object has been added. Following the processing, the object will only contain nodes located at the specified distance from the previous one.

  • 02.04.2024 In the GIS "Panorama," the tools for constructing a hydrologically accurate terrain model have been refined
    In the KB "Panorama", the Complex of Hydrological Tasks version 6.3.5 has been developed for GIS "Panorama" 15, designed for modeling hydrological conditions, constructing flood and drainage zones. The complex has been updated with a set of tools for processing vector objects and digital elevation models (DEM). A mode called "Alignment of Hydrography Objects and Elevation Matrices" has been developed for automatically obtaining hydrologically correct DEMs. The concept of hydrological correctness of DEMs includes the following principles: DEMs should not contain fictitious flow points; flow lines (thalwegs) on DEMs should coincide with the original segments of the river network; the elevation values of DEMs along the flow line should monotonically decrease. When constructing a hydrologically correct DEM, not only relief information but also data on river networks and closed depressions should be taken into account.
    The mode "Alignment of Hydrography Objects and Elevation Matrices" processes the hydrography objects of a topographic map as a unified hydrographic network. To obtain a hydrologically correct DEM, the following operations are sequentially performed: searching for nodal points of hydrography objects; dividing hydrography objects at network nodes; stitching hydrography objects that do not have matching nodes at junctions of the network; setting heights for boundary points of linear hydrography objects; setting heights for area hydrography objects with constant elevation (lakes); aligning heights of network nodal points of hydrography; calculating heights of linear hydrography objects; calculating heights of area hydrography objects with variable elevation (rivers). In the absence of elevation coordinates for hydrography objects, values from the DEM are used as initial information for modeling.
    A hydrologically correct vector model is used to adjust DEM elevation values. Elements of the matrix receive values from hydrography objects. The height from the metric is transferred to each matrix element that coincides with a point on a linear hydrography object. Heights in matrix elements between metric points are calculated using linear interpolation. Heights in matrix elements within objects with constant water level receive elevation from the object. Heights in matrix elements within area hydrography objects with variable water levels are calculated based on heights of nearest DEM elements with weighted averaging using four directions for interpolation. Subsequently, smoothing of the matrix near hydrography objects is conducted. Only matrix elements related to linear objects and boundaries of area objects are used for smoothing. For each matrix element within the smoothing radius, all matrix elements with aligned heights are found, and their weighted arithmetic mean is calculated based on inverse distances between points as weights. The closer a point with corrected height is to a point with smoothed height, the more influence it exerts on it.
    A hydrologically correct DEM is a fundamental element for determining morphometric and hydrographic characteristics of rivers and their basins, including modeling of flooding. Modes for analyzing flooding are included in the complex: "Construction of flood zone by target method", "Construction of flood zone by depths points", and "Construction of flood zone at this point".

  • 31.03.2024 The GIS Server facilitates centralized storage and updating of map classifiers, system coordinate parameters, and other service files
    In the KB "Panorama", a GIS Server version 11.1 has been developed for the operating systems Astra Linux SE, Ubuntu 18.04, CentOS 8, CentOS 7 and MS Windows. The new version of the program includes support for centralized storage on the server and updates of digital classifiers RSC and service files XML (system coordinate parameters and any other program settings) at client locations. To store files, it is necessary to set up a shared folder for classifiers on the GIS Server using administrative tools and place RSC and XML files there, which will be updated on the client side. Files can be grouped in subdirectories or placed in a single directory. On the client workstation, in the GIS settings, it is necessary to set up a shared folder for classifiers and specify the hostname or IP address of the GIS Server from which RSC and XML files will be updated. Whenever files are updated on the server, the client's GIS will be updated during client operation. To reduce network load, updates can be delayed from several tens of seconds to several minutes based on client settings.
    Support for reading and writing shared object lists on the server (files *.obx) has been added for searching, performing overlay operations between lists, and preparing reports. The composition of diagnostic messages has been expanded, and the view of monitoring protocols for the GIS Server's operation status has been enhanced. The procedure for loading data into the Database as part of folders has been improved. When loading folders with the same name but different sets of data, a unique name for the set is generated, including the folder name and the main dataset name.
    The GIS Server provides remote access to vector maps, remote sensing data, and spatial databases. Hosting data on the server ensures protection against illegal viewing, copying, modification, and printing. The new version of the program is available for download on the Download page.

  • 28.03.2024 The "Workstation of agronomist" provides access to thematic data from the Rosreestr geospatial portal
    In the KB "Panorama", the software complex "Workstation of agronomist" version 15.2 has been developed. In the new version, the range of third-party data sources has been expanded. Additional layers from the Rosreestr geospatial portal are connected - Thematic Maps: Cadastre value of land plots, Land categories, Types of permitted land use, Lands for construction, Lands for tourism.
    During land management, thematic maps allow for a quick visual assessment of a particular territory. For example, the map of cadastre value of land plots has 5 gradations: up to 3 million rubles, from 3 to 15 million rubles, from 15 to 30 million rubles, from 30 to 100 million rubles, and over 100 million rubles. Land category map - 8: not established, agricultural lands, forest fund, water fund, specially protected areas, settlement lands, industrial lands, reserved lands. The map of types of permitted land use contains over 220 gradations.
    An important set of tools for a GIS specialist in creating infrastructure maps for agriculture is processing lists of objectslists of objects. In the new version of the program, the corresponding dialog has been updated. The ability to cut and split objects belonging to complex lists containing objects from one or several maps opened in one window has been added.
    To ensure consistency of symbol libraries on client machines, support for centralized updating of classifiers from the GIS Server has been added. Classifiers located on the server will be automatically updated on the client.
    For more flexible data preparation for printing, in the "Map Composition" dialog on the "Numbers" tab, the ability to set a unique object number that will temporarily not be visible on the map has been added.

  • 27.03.2024 In GIS WebServer SE, tools for viewing and interacting with information models of construction objects have been implemented
    At KB "Panorama," GIS WebServer SE version 6.19.0 has been developed for Astra Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and MS Windows operating systems. The new version expands the tools for interacting with maps. The BIM Viewer component allows viewing object-oriented models used in the construction industry. It uses an open .ifc file format as a source, enabling data exchange between various CAD applications. Interaction with a 3D model and layer visibility management have been implemented. The ability to load BIM files with map object binding has been added.
    In the Routes component, history saving, route export, and the ability to build routes using Yandex.Maps service have been added. An Overview Map component has been added for evaluating the current map window location and quick navigation across the terrain.     GIS WebServer SE is used in building closed corporate systems with data protection classified as secret or commercial secrets. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the GIS WebToolKit SE toolkit, which can be used in development tools utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript.
    Based on GIS WebServer SE and other server products from KB "Panorama," the Regional GIS of the Ryazan Region (RGIS RR) has been implemented. RGIS RR is a specialized multifunctional geoportal with interactive features providing access to reliable information about objects of various categories. RGIS RR is available to a wide range of users including government authorities, citizens, organizations, potential investors, and private companies. The Regional GIS of the Ryazan Region helps in decision-making across various socio-economic development areas. The new version of the program is available on the website in the Download section.

  • 26.03.2024 In the "Workstation of cadastral engineer," tools for processing field measurements and cadastral data have been updated
    In KB "Panorama," the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 15.2.0 has been developed. The new version includes expanded tools for processing spatial data to prepare cadastral documents.
    Considering changes in land management and cadastral legislation, the composition of screen buttons in several panels has been modified. Screen buttons activating modes for creating outdated document forms have been removed: "Layout of the land plot on the cadastral plan", "To insert in WORD the picture of selected fragments of map" and "To generate out-of-frame representation of DCM (duty cadastral map)". The button "Information from the State Real Estate Cadastre" has been moved to the "Cadastral Documents" module. The placement of buttons on the panels "Constructions along the object", "Modification of geometry of objects", "Formation of reports", and "Processing of attributes of objects" has been optimized. The button relocations were done with the refinement of the functional purpose of individual modes in mind.
    In the dialog "Editing attributes of a cadastral object", when entering and editing document information, the ability to copy the "Permitted Use" document into the "Category" document (as they often coincide) has been added. Additionally, document sorting and search by the first letters of a word in the list have been implemented. In the "Basic Information" tab for land plots with a single land use type the field "Cadastral Number" has been added to enter the cadastral number for a single land use.
    The "Land Survey Plan" mode has been updated, and XML file generation according to schema version 9 has been improved. A variable selection of formula values from semantics or program settings has been added for filling in elements such as "Accuracy of position of characteristic points of land plot boundaries", "Accuracy of position of characteristic points of part boundaries", "Accuracy of area determination of land plots", and "Accuracy of area determination of parts of land plots". Inaccuracies in filling in elements UrbanDistrict, ChangeBorder, Formula, and information about characteristic points of subordinate contours of multi-contour plots have been corrected.
    In the "Technical building plan" dialog, insertion of characteristic point attributes containing height mark values for elements N1 and N2 with rounding to 0.1 in the XML file has been added. In the structured address retrieval dialog using the "FIAS Address" button, address retrieval has been corrected for regions with codes 1-9, and the region directory version has been updated.
    In the "Correction of registry errors" mode, recording of the RegNumbBorder element in the XML document has been improved. In the mode dialog, when filling in the table "Geodetic Base Information," calling the "Base of cadastral works" dialog with activation of the "Geopoints" tab has been implemented. Reading geopoint information and filling in data on the form have been added. Reading the semantics code "Correction Feature" has been corrected. When generating a text report, filling in new markers #ZONE#, #BUILDS#, #KADNUM_L# has been added. The marker #KADNUM_DOP# has been removed. Recording of deleted points has been corrected, and functions have been added to remove empty lines between report sections. An unnecessary line in the report is removed if there is no original object in EGRN for the object. When inserting images into the report, calculation of image width and height based on graphic file dimensions and allowable image insertion area has been added.     Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of the Republic of South Africa, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

    The largest XI International IT conference "Stachka" will take place in Ulyanovsk from April 12 to 13, 2024. The event will be held at the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University.

  • 20.03.2024 GIS "Panorama" expands the application of linear coordinate systems
    KB "Panorama" has developed GIS "Panorama" version 15.2.0. In the new version, tools have been added for creating and applying a linear coordinate system for various categories of linear objects: pipelines, road networks, and others. A linear coordinate system is a system for measuring the linear coordinate along the contour of an object from the first point of the object to a specified point. The linear coordinate is a measurement in meters along an axis that sequentially passes through all the contours of the linear object from the first point of the metric of the first contour. The definition of a linear coordinate system is carried out relative to established calibration points located along the object's contour. The main purpose of calibration points is to facilitate the transition from flat rectangular coordinates to linear coordinates along the object and vice versa. Calibration points are usually created based on real point objects located along the contour of the linear object. For example, compressor stations along a pipeline have passport values of linear coordinates on the pipeline from its beginning. Kilometer posts along a road have passport values of distance from the assumed start of the road. The first point of the object may have a non-zero linear coordinate in the label. The linear coordinates of calibration points must strictly increase along the linear object. The number of calibration points for an extensive linear object can be arbitrary.
    In the "Map Editor" task, a new panel "Linear Coordinate System" has been added. It combines modes that allow for the creation of a linear coordinate system for objects, converting flat rectangular systems to linear coordinates and vice versa. The new panel includes the following modes: - Adding a point event - creating a point or vector object at a specified linear coordinate on a given route. - Adding a linear event - adding a linear object to the map based on the minimum and maximum values of the linear coordinate on a specified route. - Placing milestones - creating a sequence of point or vector objects along the route axis with a specified step from a given point and up to a specified maximum distance. - Creating routes - automatically generating routes of the linear coordinate system based on selected object types. - Creating a route - interactively adding calibration points to routes based on selected or chosen point objects that have corresponding values in their semantics. - Creating calibration points - interactively adding calibration points to routes at specified locations. - Deleting calibration points - removing specified existing calibration points from the route. - Moving calibration points - changing the position of a calibration point on the route within the neighboring points without changing its linear coordinate value. - Displaying linear coordinates - visualizing all existing calibration points on all routes with their linear coordinate values labeled. - Route control - analyzing the correctness of the linear coordinate values of calibration points on the route. The mode button "Calls dialog viewing results of check" has been moved to the group of modes "Measurement and results of check".
    In the modes of cutting and slicing objects based on lists, the ability to process objects belonging to complex lists has been added. The lists of reference and editable objects can contain objects from one or several maps opened in a single window. The cutting and slicing modes based on lists are located in the "Group of modes Cut and combine" editor panel and in the "Lists of objects" dialog, which is accessed from the main program panel.
    The task "Automated Generalization of Topographic Maps" has been improved to transform a map of the original scale into a map of a finer (derived) scale. The process of map transformation consists of a series of sequential stages initiated by buttons in the automated generalization complex panel. In the new version, the ability to start the entire generalization process with a single button "Execute Generalization" has been added. This mode can be executed with minor adjustments to the generalization parameters for repeated execution of the entire procedure to obtain ready map sheets for a specified area.
    The task of connecting geoportals has been enhanced. New layers have been added to the Rosreestr geoportal - Thematic Maps. The following layers have been added: Cadastre Value of Land Plots, Land Categories, Types of Permitted Land Use.
    The task "Automatic Label Placement" has been improved to increase processing speed and accuracy of label placement relative to objects. On test examples, the number of created labels has increased by 15% due to more compact placement.
    A tool for centralized updating of classifiers on client workstations when updating classifiers on the GIS Server has been added. For this purpose, a "Host" field with classifiers etalons on GIS Server has been added to the "Placement of data" dialog. The host address where the GIS Server version is not lower than 11.0.8 is set in this field. The GIS Server Administrator should specify the placement of the shared classifier folder on the server. Classifiers placed in the shared classifier folder on the server will be automatically updated on the client if the GIS Server host is specified. If classifiers with the same name and extensions RSC and RSCZ are simultaneously recorded on the GIS Server, only RSC will be considered. If an RSC classifier is placed on the server and an RSCZ classifier is on the client, or vice versa, automatic replacement of the classifier type based on the server type will be performed. To reduce network load, updates can be delayed by tens of seconds.
    The task of saving a vector map in SHP format has been improved. When processing object attributes on the map, the presence of repeating semantics is taken into account. Values of such semantics are combined into a string with a ";" delimiter and entered into a single field in the DBF table format. This allows for correct display of repeating characteristics for further processing of the resulting files.
    The main menu of the application now includes a "View - Selected Objects" option, containing submenus: "Show only selected objects", "Hide only selected objects", and "Reset the set display parameters of map objects". This mode allows you to set the map composition based on selected objects. For example, using the modes on the main panel "Select arbitrarily specified" and "Select by conditional sign", you can choose individual objects or categories of objects and then hide them from view through the menu item "View - Selected Objects - Hide selected objects". To save the set display conditions of map objects in the project, select the menu item "File - Save As - Map Project (MPT)".
    The "Map Composition" dialog has been enhanced. A feature has been added on the "Numbers" tab to set a unique number for an object that will temporarily not be visible on the map. After reopening the map or clicking the "Reset" button in the dialog window, the object's visibility will be restored. The object hiding mode is applied, for example, when preparing various reports for printing.
    Vector map control has been improved. When checking map attribute data, control of the number of "Map Frame" objects has been added, as well as checking the closure of the frame contour and the correctness of the number of frame points. For maps with projections other than Gauss-Kruger, frame control is simplified: closure and presence of at least four contour points are checked. For topographic maps with Gauss-Kruger projection, a check for compliance with the nominal meridian has been added.
    The "Cadastral Documents" task has been improved. A button for the "Information from the State Real Estate Cadastre" mode has been added to the panel. In the "Boundary Plan version 9" mode, the generation of the XML file has been improved. When forming land plots for the created parts, the recording of the Formula node in the area details of the part has been corrected. When creating the ChangeBorder node for clarified points, the filling of the NumGeopoint attribute has been corrected. When generating the XML file of the boundary plan, a variable selection of formula values from semantics or program settings has been added to fill in the following elements: "Accuracy of the position of characteristic points of land plot boundaries," "Accuracy of the position of characteristic points of land plot parts boundaries," "Accuracy of determining the area of land plots," "Accuracy of determining the area of land plot parts." In the "Registry Error Correction" mode, the recording of the RegNumbBorder element has been corrected when generating the XML document. In the "Registry Error Correction" dialog, when filling in the "Geodetic Base Information" table, a dialog for "Cadastral Survey Database" is called and the "Geopoints" tab is activated. Reading of geopoint information and filling in data on the form have been added. When generating a text report, filling in new markers #ZONE#, #BUILDS#, #KADNUM_L# has been added. The #KADNUM_DOP# marker has been removed. When inserting images into the report, calculation of image width and height based on the graphic file dimensions and allowable image insertion area has been added. In the "Technical Plan" mode, insertion of semantic attribute values 1318 and 1319 into the XML file has been added when filling in elements N1 and N2 with rounding to 0.1. In the "Semantic Editing" dialog, when entering and editing document information, the ability to copy a document on permitted use into a category document and sorting and searching documents in the list by type (first letters of words can be entered) have been added. A check for data changes when closing the dialog without saving has been added. The "Cadastral Number of Object" element is displayed on the "Basic Information" tab for entering the cadastral number value of unified land use if the parcel type is unified land use.

  • 18.03.2024 In the Aeronautical Information Documents Preparation Complex, directories have been updated to maintain the database in accordance with ICAO requirements
    At KB "Panorama," a version 8.2.7 of the Aeronautical Information Documents Preparation Complex was developed under the management of GIS "Panorama" or GIS "Operator". In the new version, the directory "Approach Route Type" was updated in accordance with the requirements of ICAO Doc 8168 ("Flight Procedures". Volume II "Visual Flight Procedures and Instrument Procedures") and ICAO Circular 353 on transitioning from RNAV, GNSS, RNP APCH to RNP in approach chart designations. This directory is used when entering information in the landing route database using the "Enter Landing Routes" dialog and when creating frame design of aeronautical charts in the "Create Frame Design of Aeronautical Charts" dialog.
    The lists of elements in the directories "Type of Final Approach Segment" and "Overflight Condition at Altitude" have been expanded for maintaining databases of relative and absolute obstacle overflight heights on airport approach courses and for forming a list of route maneuvers.
    Aeronautical classifiers (dfc.rscz and dfc_en.rscz) have been improved according to the requirements of ICAO Doc 8697 ("Aeronautical Chart Manual") and the AIP of the Russian Federation. The appearance of objects has been updated: "Approach Path Line" and "Second Circuit Departure Path Line".
    The Aeronautical Information Documents Preparation Complex is a set of tools for maintaining aeronautical data, modeling and analyzing aeronautical situations, creating aeronautical charts, and exchanging data with other information systems through export and import in ARINC 424-19 exchange format and export in AIXM 5.1 format. The task "Flight Scheme Design" is used for designing departure, approach, and landing routes, as well as for flight safety analysis. The task "Assessment of Aerodrome Compliance with FAP Requirements" is intended for analyzing the aerodrome and its surrounding area for compliance with operational and aircraft flight requirements according to Federal Aviation Regulations.

  • 15.03.2024 In the GIS "Panorama" for Linux, tools for creating specialized symbols for digital maps and city plans have been enhanced
    In the KB "Panorama", a GIS "Panorama" version 15.1.1 for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system has been developed. In the new version, editing modes for vector maps have been expanded, and an auto-save task for maps has been implemented. Modes for importing data from DXF format and opening data in DBM format have been improved, and a set of template files for preparing maps for publication has been updated.
    In the "Subpanel Autoshapes" panel of the "Map Editor" task, new modes have been added: "Create double bergstrich on the closed contours", "Building an expanding zone", and "Fairway creation".
    The mode "Create double bergstrich on the closed contours" allows for overlaying two hachures on closed horizontals. Their placement on the horizontal is determined automatically (in places furthest from the geometric center of the selected object). If an unclosed object is selected, one hachure is formed. Its placement is determined by the cursor position at the time of object selection. If there are selected objects on the map when the mode is activated, the program prompts to process all selected objects. In this case, paired hachures will be applied to all selected closed objects. The metric formation of the created object is automatically perpendicular to the selected object to the right of the digitizing direction of the chosen horizontal. The length of the created object is calculated according to the dimensions specified for it in the digital classifier.
    The "Building an expanding zone" mode is used to display on transport map schemes the ways of servicing trains on sections where locomotives and locomotive crews operate. The expanding zone is a zone around a linear object, the radius of which increases uniformly from zero to a specified value set in the map editor parameters. The radius value can be changed during the mode operation from the menu that appears with the right mouse button. The type of object to be created is selected from the classifier in the standard "Create Object" dialog box.
    The "Fairway creation" mode is used to build a centerline based on the metric of an elongated area object, such as a river, lake, reservoir, and others. When the mode is activated, a dialog box appears to choose the type of object from the classifier, the symbolic representation of which will show the constructed centerline (fairway) on the map. When selecting a map object, the centerline will be built along the length of the entire selected object.
    A new mode "To set register for the text of selected labels" has been added. This mode allows you to choose one of the following options for adjusting the label: the first letter of the label is uppercase, the rest are lowercase; all letters in the label are uppercase; or all letters in the label are lowercase. After setting the mode, you need to select a "Label" type object on the map that will be adjusted according to the chosen method. The mode also supports batch processing of selected labels on the map.
    In the "Map Editor" task of the "Group of modes Cut and combine" panel, a new mode called "Formation of common external border" has been added. This mode is designed to create a common external boundary for a group of selected objects on the map. For example, this mode can be used to create the boundary of a region in the Russian Federation based on the selected administrative districts within it. A similar result can be achieved by stitching together the selected districts, but stitching is a noticeably longer process. The results of these modes also differ. When stitching, all sub-objects that were part of the original objects are retained. When creating a common external boundary, the metrics of the original objects used to create the boundary remain unchanged, but a new object is created that follows the outer contour of the selected original objects. Certain restrictions are imposed on the original data when creating a common external boundary. Each object used to create the boundary should not overlap with segments of other selected objects. Additionally, the original objects must be topologically consistent, meaning that points on the boundary fragment of the external contour of each boundary object must have corresponding points on neighboring boundary objects. To perform the process, select a group of objects to be combined on the map, activate the mode, and choose the type of object to create the external contour (linear or area).
    The "Creation under scenario" mode of the "Map Editor" task has been improved. This mode allows for quickly creating a specific set of objects by selecting a creation scenario from the dialog box "Scenario choice". By choosing the desired scenario and clicking " Backspace," the user can quickly place a group of objects on the predefined map, guided by prompts in the bottom left corner of the window. The data and order of creation are pre-defined and stored in scenario files, which are text files named after the map classifier file. Scenario files can be created or edited using any text editor. The created file can also be edited in the "Editing of the scenario" dialog.
    In the new version of the program, a mechanism for autosaving a full copy of the map during editing has been implemented. To automatically save locally stored maps on the user's computer, it is necessary to add the map to the list of maps for autosaving in the "Autosave maps" dialog and set the frequency of creating copies. The user specifies the number of hours after which autosaving is performed in case of any changes, or the number of changes since the previous copy was created, upon reaching which the data saving operation is executed. Copies are created in the local or network folder (storage) specified by the user. For each map, a subdirectory is created with the name of the map and a GUID identifier. If a GUID was not set in the map, it will be filled automatically. Inside this subdirectory, directories are created with the year number, current date, and copy number for the current date. A specified number of copies can be saved per day. If conditions for creating new copies arise when the maximum specified number already exists, intermediate copies closer in time to neighboring instances are deleted. The remaining copies are sequentially renumbered. When copying the map, all data files and service files are saved. The copy creation log includes a record with the copy creation time, path to the original map, and path to the created copy.
    The task of importing from DXF format has been improved. Support for various code pages set in the DXF file has been added for correct processing of labels on the map. Algorithms for reading spatial data in DBM format from GIS Server have been improved. Diagnostics of the process of connecting to spatial data bases and handling error messages in case of authorization failure have been expanded. GIS "Panorama" is a versatile domestic geographic information system. The program is designed for accumulating, storing, automated processing, and displaying data, calculation results, and forecasts with geospatial reference.
    GIS "Panorama" includes tools for displaying and processing vector, raster, and matrix maps. The application provides users with tools for solving specialized tasks such as modeling the movement of special objects against a 3D model, predicting consequences of emergencies at hazardous facilities, monitoring aircraft movements, conducting geodetic and topographic work, processing data from GPS/GLONASS navigation devices, printing displayed spatial data on various output devices, and many others.

  • 14.03.2024 In GIS WebService SE, tools for displaying terrain laser scanning data - point clouds are implemented
    GIS WebService SE version 15.6.0 has been developed at KB "Panorama". The new version includes support for terrain laser scanning data stored in the form of MTD models. One type of terrain laser scanning data is a dense digital surface model (point cloud). The point cloud model can be displayed in its original form or its data can be included in the terrain relief display. Laser scanning data can be transmitted in two-dimensional form via the WMS protocol, as tiles via the WMTS protocol, or as height surfaces via the WCS protocol.
    The new version has expanded capabilities for working with Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. The request for updating the data presence schema has been improved. The ability to select objects for updating on the schema and in the database table has been added. This enhancement will speed up the process of updating data presence schemas containing large volumes of information. A request has been added to link client applications and services located on multiple server clusters, simplifying the deployment of the DataBank in complex distributed systems. For analytical queries and overlay operations, support for MPT projects consisting of multiple maps has been added. For object search queries by area, the ability to filter objects by identifiers has been added. The thematic map formation request has been improved. The ability to load and display service semantics not present in the classifier has been implemented. Support for WFS layers when republishing data from third-party services has been added. GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WPS) for transmitting and displaying spatial data. The program allows for tile issuance in any user-defined or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms and is compatible with web servers Apache, IIS, and nginx.     The address database used in the GIS "Panorama" and "Workstation of urban-planner" has been updated by specialists of KB "Panorama" to obtain a structured address of an object in accordance with the classification of the State Address Register (SAR). The database has been supplemented with more than 3,000,000 new records, including addresses of land plots, real estate objects, parking spaces, apartments and rooms. The updated address database is automatically available in the "Editing object attributes for cadastral works" mode and when creating a technical plan for a building, structure, unfinished construction object, premises, and parking space.
    The structure of the State Address Register provides users with the opportunity to select an address based on municipal and administrative-territorial divisions. For compatibility with outdated address registers (KLADR and FIAS), the address database based on SAR contains unique codes of address objects registered in these systems.

  • 29.02.2024 In GIS "Operator" 15 the tools of preparing special digital maps and plans have been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 15.1.3 has been developed. In the new version the tools of creation and updating of digital topographical and special maps, terrain analysis and three-dimensional modelling have been updated.
    The "Map Editor" task has been improved. The "Auto-wrap signature lines" mode has been added into the "Editing a label" mode group, designed to perform interactive formatting of multi-line signatures texts on a map when preparing maps for publication or for drawing up reports. When changing the size of the signature metric by moving its second point, the signature text is automatically split into lines, which ensures that the overall text width corresponds to the specified size.
    In the "Create a copy of object" and "Moving object" modes, the binding of objects has been improved when moving with the binding of the selected object node to the target node of an arbitrary map object ("K" mode) or to a regular grid node ("N" mode). The new implementation of the "N" mode allows you to snap objects to grid nodes that were previously unbound to grid nodes. To visually control the binding of an object to grid nodes, in the main menu you must select: View - Grid view.
    Task "Lists of objects" has been improved. In dialog the elements of editing lists of objects and the button for execution of operations over lists are placed on one panel that simplifies the selection and execution of requests. Modes have been added: Enable display of custom styles, Cutting objects by lists and Search of intersections. Ability has been added to edit the list name in the object list tree. Information about the composition of the list has been expanded: it is presented in the form of a map tree with a description of the total and used number of objects, layers, localizations, semantics, measurements and formulas. To organize collective work, the ability to save, delete and update lists of objects on the GIS Server has been added if the main map is opened from the GIS Server.
    "Map Legend" task has been improved. On the General data list tab, functionality for working with lists of objects has been expanded. Modes have been added: Cutting objects by lists and Search of intersections.
    Import from format DXF has been improved. There is added a support for different code pages specified in the DXF file in the DWGCODEPAGE field for correct processing of labels on the map.
    In the "Navigator 3D" task, the "Flying" and "Move by object" modes have been updated. Ability has been added to change the speed of movement by model during movement using the keyboard keys: "-" deceleration, "+" acceleration. After changing, the speed is saved for subsequent movement on the model in manual mode using the keyboard, during the next use of the specified modes and for the next sessions of working with the task. Previously, the speed of movement on the terrain model was changed only in the "Options" dialog, "Motion" tab, which was less convenient.

  • 28.02.2024 Maps of five regions of the Central and Volga Federal Districts, through which the M-12 Vostok highway passes, have been updated
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared and updated on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" the maps of five regions of the Russian Federation (Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chuvash Republic), through which the M-12 "Vostok" highway passes.
    The M-12 "Vostok" expressway is a toll highway between Moscow and Kazan, with a length of more than 800 kilometers. It is part of the international transport corridor "Europe - Western China". The route has been open to vehicles since December 2023 and passes through the territory of two federal districts - Central and Volga. The M-12 goes around Noginsk, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Pokrov, Vladimir, Gus-Khrustalny, Murom and Arzamas, and runs parallel to the free M-7 "Volga" highway, passing near Nizhny Novgorod and Cheboksary. With the launch of the new highway, the road from Moscow to the capital of Tatarstan takes almost 2 times less time - only 6.5 hours instead of 12.
    The updated maps of regions are formed on the basis of OpenStreetMap data. To work with the maps, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama". The maps were led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m).   • 27.02.2024 Topographical fonts and classifiers for preparation of cartographic materials of various scales in the GIS "Panorama" have been updated
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have improved topographical fonts designed to prepare for the publication of topographic and geographical maps of various scales. In the new version, changes have been made to the font D231.ttf (Ancient upright italic) - the display of the number "7" has been improved, the symbol "- (dash)" is set relative to a lowercase letter. There are added new fonts Ph342.ttf - Chopped slanted thick and H331.ttf - New slanted. All fonts are updated to version 3.1. When making changes, the general rules for constructing fonts were observed: maintaining the accepted width of letters, maintaining the height of characters, the rule of gaps between letters, maintaining the pattern of curves, the order of drawing letters, and others.
    New fonts Ph342 and H331 have been added into the classifier of digital topographic maps 1m05gm.rscz and assigned to 18 objects with the Titles type, which are used in the geographical names of rural-type settlements. Font H331 has been added into the classifier of digital survey maps 1mogk13g.rsc and assigned to the object of Geographic labels.
    The installation kit "Topographic fonts" is intended for installing a set of fonts into the MS Windows operating system (XP and higher). This set is used in the GIS "Panorama" and other software products of KB "Panorama" for display of alphabetic and numerical designations when designing and publishing cartographic materials. Topographical fonts also are included into structure of software products for Linux. Digital classifiers 1mogk13g.rsc and 1m05gm.rscz are included into the GIS "Panorama" and are used to prepare topographic and geographic maps at a scale of 1:1 000 000.

  • 26.02.2024 GIS "Panorama" allows to model a breakthrough wave during the destruction of a hydraulic structure
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of hydrological tasks version 6.3.5 has been developed for the GIS "Panorama" 15. The complex is intended for modelling of hydrological conditions, construction of zones of flooding and drainage. In the new version of the complex the application "Modelling a breakthrough wave during the destruction of a hydraulic structure" has been added. The task is intended for calculation of characteristics of active flooding of an area and calculation of a zone of the maximum flooding when a breakthrough wave passes along the river bed.
    For calculation of parameters of a breakthrough wave and characteristics of flooding of the area, initial data is established, which include the data on a reservoir, hydraulic system and river bed in tail-water of a hydraulic structure. Calculations are based on the graphic of water flow from the reservoir. In this case, the river below the reservoir dam is divided along its length into calculated sections, which are limited by calculated targets.
    Calculations are performed iteratively along the targets with distance from the dam. To complete the task, a vector map of the area and a matrix of heights of a relief are used. The vector model for calculations includes the dam, river fairway and targets. There can be any number of targets, depending on the length downstream of the river it is necessary to predict the flooding of the area. The choice of the location of the targets should be carried out taking into account the shape of the channel and preferably with uniform intervals between adjacent targets.
    Results of modelling are: graphics of the breakthrough wave propagation; the matrix of qualities characterising the flooding of the area, and a vector map with borders of the maximum zone of catastrophic flooding.
    Graphics of the breakthrough wave movement are constructed on the Z-L-T plane, where L is the distance from the hydrosystem (abscissa axis), Z is the level mark (left ordinate axis), and T is the time since the destruction (right ordinate axis). The basis of the graphic is the longitudinal profile of the river along its fairway, built in the Z-L plane, on which the maximum water level at the calculated targets during the movement of the breakthrough wave is put. In the L-T plane, graphics of the movement of the front, crest and tail are constructed. Graphs of the movement of a breakthrough wave make it possible to determine the parameters of a breakthrough wave at any intermediate river section and are the initial information for constructing a flood matrix. To model the flood zone, a new algorithm has been developed that uses the matrix of heights of a relief, the river fairway and numerical values of the parameters of the breakthrough wave at arbitrary points of the fairway. Based on the resulting matrix of qualities, a vector object "Zone of maximum flooding" is constructed, which characterizes the zone of catastrophic flooding of the area.

  • 22.02.2024 Training video material on generalization of multiscale objects has been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson on creating a multiscale map using the "Map Sorting" and "Classifier Editor" tasks. These modes are available to users of GIS "Panorama", "Workstation of cadastral engineer", "Workstation of agronomist" and other software products of KB "Panorama".
    Multiscale linear and vulgar objects can have several the additional contours created in procedure "Sort of map objects" when generalizing multiscale objects. This speeds up the display of complex objects and makes the terrain more visual.
    Additional contours are formed for smaller scales of display - 1/4 1/16, 1/64 from base scale of a map and are recorded into the object metrics together with the basic contour. When compressing the map, those contours of objects that are closer to the current display scale will automatically be displayed. This speeds up the display of complex objects and makes the terrain more understandable. During any editing of the map and when performing calculations based on the object's metrics, the basic contour of the multiscale object is processed. Multiscale objects are one of the elements of a multiscale map that changes its appearance when the display scale is changed.

  • 21.02.2024 In the "Workstation of urban-planner" the establishment of types of permitted use and parameters for the development of land plots has been automated on the basis of land use and development rules
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of urban-planner" version 15.1.3 has been developed. In the new version the group of modes automating an order of application of rules of land use and municipal development has been improved.
    To manage the development of the territory of a municipality and the development of land plots, it is necessary to comprehensively use information about territorial zoning, land plots and real estate objects. The procedure for an integrated approach is established by the rules of land use and development, which are regulated by the Urban Planning Code of the Russian Federation and include: amap of territorial zoning, urban planning regulations and the procedure for applying the rules. Updated "Complex of urban-planning tasks" provides use of information of urban-planning regulations concerning the land plots and objects of capital construction located within the corresponding territorial zone, including: types of permitted use of land plots and objects of capital construction; limiting (minimum and (or) maximum) sizes of land plots and limiting parameters of permitted construction, reconstruction of objects of capital construction; restrictions of using land plots and objects of the capital construction, established in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
    The improved mode "Automatic filling of regulations of land plot development" allows to define automatically on a map a territorial zone in which the land plot falls, and to assign the established types of permitted use and the development parameters to the land plot. The connection of a land plot with urban planning regulations is carried out through the semantics of the objects "Index of territorial zone" of the territorial zoning map. The mode carries out control, taking into account that each plot must be located only in one territorial zone. The exception is land plots, the boundaries of which, in accordance with land legislation, may cross the boundaries of territorial zones. If a plot falls completely within the territorial zone, it is assigned a urban planning regulation in accordance with the semantics the "Index of territorial zone". If plot falls within the boundaries of several territorial zones, then urban planning regulations are not assigned for such plot. During the execution of the mode, a report is formed. It reflects control errors, and also the assigned and possible options of urban planning regulations which it is possible to analyse and make the decision on a choice of the necessary.
    The algorithm for establishing spatial and logical connections between land plots and objects on the territorial zoning map has been updated. The digital classifier urban.v2.rsc has been updated, which must be used to maintain a territorial zoning map. To connect areas and territorial zones, the spatial location of the area within the zone and the semantics "Index of territorial zone" with the ZoneIndex key are used.
    In the new version of the "Workstation of urban-planner" the list of reports has been expanded. The report "Types of permitted use of a territorial zone" contains a list of main, auxiliary and conditionally permitted types of use for a specific territorial zone. The report "Print of urban-planning regulations" includes all types of permitted use with established parameters for the development of a territorial zone. To fill in the parameters of the development of a territorial zone, the functions "Add" and "Add with copying" have been added.

  • 19.02.2024 In the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" the tools of maintaining information on the accuracy of cadastral measurements have been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 15.1.3 has been developed. The program has updated algorithms and methods for using information on the accuracy of cadastral measurements, taking into account the requirements of the order of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography dated October 23, 2020 No. P/0393. The procedure for maintaining the specified information in the cadastral object model has been clarified.
    The dialog "Editing attributes of a cadastral object" provides input and editing of information about the method of determining coordinates, the formula used for calculating the mean square error in determining the coordinates of a characteristic point, the value of the SKP of determining coordinates (Mt) and the formula used for calculating the maximum error in determining the area of a cadastral object (Mp). For land plots, processing of the semantics "Permitted use according to the regulatory act (text description) has been added. Separate input of semantic values "Account Boundary Number" and "Individual designation (kind, type, number, index) a territorial zone" have been implemented.
    The "Land survey plan" mode has been updated in terms of using information about the accuracy of cadastral measurements from the cadastral object model, which includes polygons describing the boundaries of the land plot and point objects - characteristic points of the boundaries. When generating a test report and an XML file for a land survey plan, a variable selection of data was implemented when filling out information about the accuracy indicators for determining coordinates and area. To fill the value Mt of characteristic points, the values of semantics and program settings are used according to the following algorithm. If there is a point sign on the map, it is asked for the value of the semantics "RMS of point position". Otherwise, value of semantics "RMS of point position" of the land plot is requested. If both conditions are not met, then the value from the options of the "Cadastral documents" module is used to fill in Mt. To fill in the value of the formula used for calculating the RMS of determining the coordinates of a characteristic point, the value of the semantics "Formula for calculating Mt" of the land plot is requested. If there is no semantics, then the value from the settings of the "Cadastral Documents" module is used to fill out the formula. To fill in the Mp value, the program performs a calculation using the formula specified in the options of the "Cadastral Documents" module. Received value Mp is inserted into the report and XML file. When calculating Mp, the value of the standard value Mp used in the calculations is requested from the semantics of the "RMS of point position" of the land plot. If semantics is not present, then the value from module options "Cadastral documents" is taken. To fill in the value of the formula used for calculating the maximum error in determining the area of a cadastral object, the value of the semantics "Formula for calculating the area" of the land plot is requested. If there is no semantics, then the value from the settings of the "Cadastral Documents" module is used to fill out the formula. The insert of values of attributes GeopointOpred and Formula has been added when forming the Ordinate and NewOrdinate elements in an XML file. Reading of the semantics "Permitted use according to a regulatory act (text description)" has been added to fill in the PermittedUseText element in the PermittedUsesOther node of the XML-file of the land survey plan version 9. Errors have been corrected when changing document information about the permitted use of land and land category. The recording of unnecessary elements OKATO, KLADR, OKTMO into the XML file has been eliminated. Recording into the XML file of information about the document on establishing an address in the Address element has been corrected.
    In the "Technical plan" dialog, a field has been added for entering the error in determining the area of a cadastral object (Mp). Determination of the area of a building, structure, premises or parking space is carried out during cadastral measurements based on the internal dimensions of the premises as the sum of the areas of the simplest geometric figures. The number of figures and the breakdown order are established by the cadastral engineer. The resulting area value is saved in the semantics "Area according to documents" (AREADOC) of the real estate object and is displayed in the dialog. The AREADOC and Mp values are used when generating a text report and an XML technical plan file. A recording has been added into the XML file of object coordinates and point numbers if there are no point signs on the map - characteristic points. The position "Date" has been added in the table of geodetic points when saving in XML. When filling out the XML file of the GeopointOpred element (Method for determining coordinates), the ability of initialization of value by default has been added if there are no point symbols on the map - characteristic points. In this case, the value is taken from the semantics of the cadastral object.
    In the "Correction of registry errors" mode, the process of generating a text report is made cross-platform using the DOCX format. Recording information about deleted points into the report has been corrected. A filter has been set for adding graphic files in PDF and JPG formats; these files can be used when inserting images into the Applications section.

  • 16.02.2024 In the application development kit for GIS "Panorama" 15 the source texts of the task of building three-dimensional models have been published
    Specialists from KB "Panorama" have updated the application development kit for GIS "Panorama" 15. In the new version the source texts of the task "Navigator 3D" from the applications of GIS "Panorama" have been added. "Navigator 3D" is used for dynamic construction, display and viewing of three-dimensional terrain models (three-dimensional maps) based on various types of data used in the GIS "Panorama", and also contains tools for working with a three-dimensional map and functions for importing models.
    The source texts of the task consist of the texts of two libraries projects: library of the map3dex task core (engine) and library of the map3d window interface. On the basis of given texts it is possible to develop your own task in different versions. For example, to expand the functionality of an existing interface in the map3d library, to build your own task for working with a three-dimensional map using the API functions of the map3dex library, or to change and modify the contents of the core.
    To build a three-dimensional terrain model, the following can be used: a vector map, a matrix of heights, a triangulation relief model (TIN model), a map classifier, a library of three-dimensional images of objects, the digital photographs of the terrain and digital photographs of terrain objects. The composition of the source data can be different and depends on what type of model needs to be obtained.
    To build a three-dimensional model taking into account the objects of a vector two-dimensional map, a library of three-dimensional images of various types of these objects is used, which is added into the classifier of any map. API functions make it possible to programmatically form parameters for typified three-dimensional models of user objects. You can create your own views in the library of 3D images in the "Classifier Editor" task.
    The task has wide functionality for customizing the display of a three-dimensional model: display with or without relief, in full or skeleton form, with real lighting depending on the selected date, time and location, or with a spotlight, with map objects, and others. The possibilities for controlling the three-dimensional map are also different - you can move the model using the keyboard or mouse, change the speed of movement and turn, observation mode, display projection of the model and other actions.
    Working with a three-dimensional map provides: taking measurements; creating and editing 3D map objects; creating and editing a three-dimensional view of map classifier objects; control of the display composition of superficial and three-dimensional objects; creating and playing scenarios of moving objects; creating trajectories of camera movement along the model and playing back camera movement along the model; placing virtual video cameras and displaying images from them in additional video camera windows; saving terrain model images from the main window and video camera windows in JPG, PNG, BMP and AVI formats; saving a three-dimensional map into a database in the form of a pyramid of three-dimensional tiles in the DB3D format.
    Import of third-party 3D models allows you to load models in DAE, OBJ, TLS, OC3, MTD formats into the database of 3D models of the DB3D format and display them on a 3D map. A more complete description of the "3D Navigator" task is presented in the documentation.

  • 14.02.2024 Training video material on the creation and use of conventional symbols visible on a given scale has been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson of formation of a sign, visible on a given scale, using the "Classifier Editor" in the GIS "Panorama", "Workstation of cadastral engineer", "Workstation of of agronomist" and other software products of KB "Panorama". To display multiscale signs, a programmable sign from the shape.iml library is used. A sign is formed using a combination of primitives and the assignment of borders of sign display. By means of primitives it is possible to form any type of a sign: linear, polygon, point.
    Programmable signs allow you to create a multiscale map. Multiscale maps are dynamic maps that display data differently at different scale ranges. They differ from static maps, which are designed to be viewed and displayed at one scale. You can zoom in and zoom out the map, but the multiscale maps are created in a way that ensures visual integrity and effectively communicates information to the user. Multiscale maps are the most efficient way to display data virtually continuously in various scales.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 15.1.3 has been developed. In the new version the tools of creating and updating digital topographical and special maps have been updated, the mechanism of autosave of backup copies of maps has been added when editing, tools for control of quality and correction of vector maps, execution of topological requests have been supplemented. A model of a breakthrough wave during the destruction of a hydraulic structure has been developed, 3D modeling tools have been updated, and tools for preparing cadastral documents, land-survey and technical plans have been improved.
    The "Map Editor" task has been improved. In the "Create a copy of object" and "Moving object" modes, the binding of objects has been improved when moving with the binding of the selected object node to the target node of an arbitrary map object ("K" mode) or to a regular grid node ("N" mode). The new implementation of the "N" mode allows you to snap objects to grid nodes that were previously unbound to grid nodes. The ability to save a list of objects selected by filter has been added into the "View map control log" dialog. Tools for working with the list allow you to highlight objects on the map, select and copy them onto a separate map, as well as perform a sequential search for list objects on the map and process them in groups.
    The "Splitting objects by lists" mode has been added to the "Cut and combine" group of modes. The mode is intended for cutting area objects into parts along the contours of reference objects. Areal, linear closed and open objects can be used as reference objects. When cutting multipolygons, the cut parts of objects are recorded as simple areal objects. By default, the metric of reference objects is matched with editable ones: intersection points are inserted into reference objects. If there is no need to edit the reference object metrics, reference object matching can be disabled. The procedure for using the mode when solving the problem of forming forest blocks is given on the "Splitting objects by lists" page
    The "Auto-wrap signature lines" mode has been added to the "Editing a label" mode group, designed to perform interactive formatting of multi-line signatures texts on a map when preparing maps for publication or for drawing up reports.     For desktop versions a mechanism of autosave of full copy of the map during editing has been implemented. In order for locally placed maps (on the user’s computer) to be automatically saved when editing, it is necessary in the Options/Autosave menu, to add the map into the list of maps for autosaving and to set the frequency of creating copies: after how many hours in the presence of any changes or after how many total changes since the creation of the previous copy. Copies are created in that local or network folder (storage) that the user specifies. For each map, a subdirectory is created with the map name and GUID. If a GUID has not been set in the map, it will be filled in automatically. Inside this subdirectory, directories are created with the year number, the current date and the copy number for the current date. No more than a specified number of copies can be saved per day. If conditions arise for creating new copies when there is already a maximum specified number, then intermediate copies are deleted, which are closer in creation time to neighboring copies. The remaining copies are renumbered sequentially. When you copy a map, all data files and service files are saved. A record is added into the copy creation protocol with the time of copy creation, the path to the source map, and the path to the created copy.
    The task "Making rule" (borders of nomenclature sheets) on the map has been improved. A mode for forming sheet frames based on objects previously selected on the map has been added to the list of modes for selecting a construction area. The mode of constructing by selected objects is convenient in cases where the objects of interest are scattered across the map.
    Task "Lists of objects" has been improved. In dialog the elements of editing lists of objects and the button for execution of operations over lists are placed on one panel that simplifies the selection and execution of requests. Modes have been added: Enable display of custom styles, Cutting objects by lists and Search of intersections. Ability has been added to edit the list name in the object list tree. Information about the composition of the list has been expanded: it is presented in the form of a map tree with a description of the total and used number of objects, layers, localizations, semantics, measurements and formulas. "Map Legend" task has been improved. On the General data list tab, functionality for working with lists of objects has been expanded. Modes have been added: Cutting objects by lists and Search of intersections. To organize collective work, the ability to save, delete and update lists of objects on the GIS Server has been added if the main map is opened from the GIS Server.
    The task "Correction of object metrics", which is part of the tasks group "Check and correction of data", has been improved. The "Cut the self-intersections (loops)" mode has been added into the "Topology" mode group. The mode performs dissection of linear objects in places of self-intersections and self-junctions with the creation of new objects. The algorithm for executing the "Merge linear objects with control of direction and semantics" mode from the "Topogogy" group of modes has been improved. It is now possible to specify the maximum rotation angle of merged objects at the merging location, beyond which merging will not occur. In addition, in the "Forks" places the program selects the most straight direction from the available ones for merging.
    The task "Check of vector map quality" has been improved. An additional parameter "Perform with maximum precision" has been added into the parameters of the topology control type the "Objects mismatch check". When this parameter is enabled, messages about mismatch of points less than 1 micrometer on the ground are recorded into the control protocol. When performing the control in the "Edit" mode, the discrepancies of the points less than the editable tolerance are corrected automatically.
    The program of correction of object metrics has been improved: the number of iterations has been reduced when correcting linear contours containing errors in the adjacency of contour segments; the degeneration of linear contours with a small number of points containing errors of the "peaks" type has been excluded. The object metrics correction program is used to automatically correct errors in the metrics of areal and linear objects. The task is called in the main menu: Tools - Map processing by scenario - Correction of object metrics.
    The "Complex of hydrological tasks" has been improved. A new mode "Modeling a breakthrough wave during the destruction of a hydraulic structure" has been added to the Reservoir mode group. The mode is intended for calculating the propagation of a breakthrough wave in the event of the destruction of a dam. The result of the program is: a graph of the advance of a breakthrough wave, a matrix of flooding of territories, a map of flooding of territories. When creating the program, methods developed by specialists from the Military training and research center of the Ground forces were used.
    In the "Navigator 3D" task, the "Flying" and "Move by object" modes have been updated. Ability has been added to change the speed of movement by model during movement using the keyboard keys: "-" deceleration, "+" acceleration. After changing, the speed is saved for subsequent movement on the model in manual mode using the keyboard, during the next use of the specified modes and for the next sessions of working with the task. Previously, the speed of movement on the terrain model was changed only in the "Options" dialog, "Motion" tab, which was less convenient.
    Import from format DXF has been improved. There is added a support for different code pages specified in the DXF file in the DWGCODEPAGE field for correct processing of labels on the map.
    "Geodesy editor" task has been improved. The dialog "Formation of title of name and area" has been updated. The "Sign area and object name" dialog from the "Preparation of diagrams and drawings" panel has been improved. To select the semantics used as the object name, call the standard "Semantics choice" dialog. The "Creating object schema" mode has been improved, errors in setting default values have been corrected, and the process of constructing a schema has been accelerated.
    The task "Cadastral documents" has been improved. In the dialog "Editing the semantics of cadastral objects" for land plots, processing of the semantics "Permitted use according to a regulatory act (text description)" has been added. Separate input of semantic values "Border registration number" and "Individual designation (kind, type, number, index) of a territorial zone" has been implemented. In the "Correction of registry error" mode, the process of forming a text report is made cross-platform using the DOCX format. Recording of information about deleted points in the report has been corrected. A filter has been installed for adding graphic files in PDF and JPG formats and using these files when inserting images into the Applications section.
    In the "Land Survey Plan version 9" mode, in the "XML document" section in the "XSD schema placement" field, the default path for placing the MP_v09.xsd schema has been changed from the MP_v09 folder onto the MP_v09_R03-1_project folder. There is added a reading of the semantics "Permitted use according to the regulatory act (text description)" to fill the PermittedUseText element in the PermittedUsesOther node of the XML-file of the Land Survey Plan version 9. Writing into the XML-file of the information about the document about setting the address in the Address node has been corrected. When generating a test report and XML file of the Land Survey Plan version 9, an algorithm was implemented that uses a variable selection of data when filling out information about the mean square error in determining the coordinates of characteristic points (Mt) and the maximum error in determining the area of a land plot (dP). Information about the SKP for determining the coordinates of a characteristic point includes the following items: the method for determining the coordinates of a point (Method), the formula for calculating the SKP of a point (Formula_Mt) and the value of the SKP for determining the coordinates of a point (DeltaGeopoint). Information on the maximum error in determining the area of a land plot includes the following items: the formula for calculating the error in determining the area (Formula_dP), the normative SKP for determining the coordinates of characteristic points (Mtnorm) and the value of the maximum error in determining the area of a land plot (dP). When generating a report or XML file, the program does not calculate the Mt value of characteristic points.
    Into the "Technical plan" dialog a field has been added for entering the error in determining the area of a cadastral object and recording the resulting value into the semantics and XML-file of the technical plan. The error in determining the area of real estate objects is not calculated. It is connected with the fact that calculation of the SKP for determining the area is performed by dividing the object into geometrical figures. The number of figures and the order of division are established by the cadastral engineer, and at the time of drawing up the technical plan, this information is not on the map. A recording into the XML file of object coordinates and point numbers has been added if there are no point signs on the map - characteristic points. "Date" position has been added in the table of geodetic points when saving in XML. When filling the XML file of the element "GeopointOpred" - Method for determining coordinates, the ability has been added to initialize it with the default value in the absence on the map of point signs - characteristic points. In this case, the value is taken from the semantics of the cadastral object.

  • 08.02.2024 Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information ensures the maintenance of a database of airdromes infrastructure in accordance with ICAO requirements
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information version 8.2.6 under the control of the GIS "Panorama" or GIS "Operator" has been developed. In the new version, the dialogue "Maintaining the runway profile database" has been improved in accordance with the requirements of ICAO Doc 9157 ("Airdrome Design Manual. Part 1. "Runways") and FAP-262. For maintaining the base of the vertical profile of the runway, there are added the additional fields for entering absolute height at a point for storing values in two measurement systems (meters and feet). Input of coordinates of the parking center in the format of degrees, minutes, seconds has been implemented.
    The mode "Interface for formation of marginal (out border) design and maps" mode has been improved. Ability has been added to use graphic objects when designing an approach procedure template to display text regarding the missed approach procedure and warnings (notes). To create graphic objects, a preliminary description in the aeronautical classifier (dfc.rsc) is not required, so it is more convenient to use these objects when creating a template. In the program the list of the corresponding keywords used for filling a template with the information from a database of the Complex has been expanded. The full list of keywords is presented in the document "System programmer's guide".
    The complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information is a set of tools for maintaining an aeronautical data base, a modeling and analyzing the aeronautical situation, generating aeronautical maps and exchanging data with other information systems through export and import in the ARINC 424-19 exchange format and export in the AIXM 5.1 format. The task "Flight procedures design" is used to design the routes of departure, approach and landing and to analyze the safety of flights on them. The task "Assessment of compliance for aerodromes with the requirements FAR" is intended for the analysis of the aerodrome and the aerodrome environs for the suitability for operation and aircraft flights in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations.

  • 07.02.2024 On the basis of data from open sources the maps and matrixes of heights of a relief for mobile devices have been formed
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared maps for mobile devices on the basis of data OpenStreetMap and matrix of heights of a relief in MTW format. Maps for mobile devices are formed as multi-sheet maps of MAP format, corresponding to the territory of nomenclature sheets at a scale of 1: 200 000 in CS-42 (blocks), packed in ZIP format. Each map (block) contains 16 sheets corresponding to the territory of nomenclature sheets at a scale of 1: 50 000 in CS-42. The sheet name corresponds to the name of the nomenclature of scale 1: 50 000 in lowercase. The map name includes the name of the corresponding nomenclature of scale 1: 200 000 in the lowercase and the name of the main settlement in map territory.
    The matrix of heights is a digital 3D model of the terrain, has a regular structure and contains elements which values are the heights of the terrain. The name of a matrix of heights includes the name of the corresponding nomenclature of scale 1: 200 000 in the lowercase and the name of the main settlement in map territory. Matrixes of heights of a relief are presented in files with the MTW extension in compressed form.
    Maps of MAP format and matrixes of heights of a relief can be opened simultaneously in any quantity for a covering of necessary territory. On top of background maps, you can create or open thematic layers (user maps) to solve applied tasks. Before use, maps must be unpacked (can be done in the mobile application).
    For work with mobile maps and matrixes of heights it is possible to use the GIS "Panorama Mobile" (an order of use for OS Aurora and for OS Android). Mobile maps and matrixes of heights are available for downloading in the "Digital maps" section.

  • 05.02.2024 A training set of maps and a set of parameters for using the specialized software "Automated generalization of topographical maps" have been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a training set from 36 sheets of scale 1:100 000 converted into 9 sheets of scale 1:200 000 by using the program "Automated generalizations of topographic maps". Specialized software is designed to perform automated mapping of digital topographic maps (DTM) of scales of 1:50 000 - 1:500 000 based on source maps of larger scales. For performing the procedure of generalization from a scale of 1: 100 000 to 1: 200 000 the parameter files have been prepared that can be used for other areas with similar terrain properties. The source set of maps has been led to the 100t05gm.rsc classifier and complies with the rules for the digital description of terrain objects given in the document "Technology of digital topographic maps creating and updating".
    The area of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland and at the mouth of the Neva River, was chosen for work. The territory belongs to the Baltic Sea basin and has a dense, developed network of rivers and canals. Dense coniferous and mixed deciduous forests, interspersed with swamps, cover almost 70% of the area.
    The process of converting source data in map format to the final result took 3 working days when carried out step by step. An example of a training kit is packaged into an archive containing data in the folders Source data, Settings files, Result.
    The updated version of the Specialized software accelerates the processing of small reservoirs, which searches for adjacent cover objects (forests, meadows) and unites the removed small reservoirs with adjacent cover objects. The union is performed provided that there is a significant area (contour) of adjacency of the analyzed objects. Customizing the filters of objects processed during formation of a destination map has been simplified. The new mode allows to execute faster and flexible customizing the views of the objects copied onto a derivative map.
    Quality of the title sign of the settlements names has been improved: a new algorithm of selection of the title location carries out search of the place most free from contours.

  • 02.02.2024 In GIS "Panorama Mobile" the tools of obtaining information about terrain objects have been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama Mobile" version 1.4 for OS Android has been developed. In the new version the possibility for viewing detailed information about objects of vector maps has been added, change of a format of displaying coordinates, restoration of last open document and position have been implemented. The task of connecting geoportals has been improved, and the algorithms for processing and displaying data have been refined.
    The GIS "Panorama Mobile" provides the ability to view detailed information about map objects. The new dialog displays basic information about the map object: the name of the object and layer, the object key in the classifier of conventional symbols, measurement characteristics (perimeter and area), as well as a list of object attributes. When the dialog opens, the display window is centered onto the object, and the object itself is highlighted with an outline. For convenience of positioning, it is possible to enter the sizes of an object into the visible map display area and center the visible map display area onto the center of the object.
    Ability has been added to select a coordinate system and format of representation for displaying a position on the map. Regardless of the type of used map, the user can set the most suitable display parameters from among the popular coordinate systems: CS-42, WGS-84 and PZ-90.11. Rectangular (meters) and geodetic (radians, degrees, degrees/minutes/seconds) units of measurement can be used as a format for representing coordinates. This possibility together with use of the receiver of geonavigation data (GPS/GLONASS), allows you to receive the current location in a more informative form. To improve user interaction with the application, a saving the data state at the time of closing, support for changing screen orientation, and the ability to quickly navigate to a document have been added. When closing the data, as well as the application itself, the scale, current position, color model, brightness, contrast and other parameters are saved.
    The improved task of connecting geoportals allows you to optimize the display of popular third-party sources of spatial data (OpenStreetMap, Yandex, KB "Panorama" and others) on mobile devices. The program has increased the speed of loading and displaying tiles. Taking into account the system performance, a pool of independent threads is formed to load, process and display the received data. Multi-threaded data loading reduces latency when moving the screen, zooming the map, and performing spatial queries on the geoportal.
    The functioning of the mobile application in conditions of limited amount of available RAM has been improved. The need for the program to operate under conditions of a limited amount of system resources becomes relevant when using the embedded devices, specialized tablets and other similar devices. When there is insufficient memory, the GIS kernel automatically activates a buffer with a limited amount of memory and performs all data operations using only this buffer. As a result, memory consumption by the GIS application is drastically reduced. In the new version the algorithms of processing and displaying data have been improved. The number of supported sheets for multi-sheet maps has been increased by 4 times. There is increased the accuracy of calculations of a transparency for vector objects and a polygon object - color glass. The algorithms for interaction with the GIS Server have been improved, for example, the interaction mechanism when editing maps containing a small number of objects.
    GIS "Panorama Mobile" allows you to open the main formats of digital maps of the GIS "Panorama" on mobile devices based on Android and to process information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. The user can prepare in advance the required set of spatial data in one of the desktop products (GIS "Panorama", "Panorama-editor", GIS Panorama Mini), pack them into a ZIP archive using standard means and transfer them to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile". The process of working with data is carried out autonomously, without connecting to the Internet. When the user moves, his current position is dynamically displayed according to the coordinates obtained from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. For ease of use, it is possible to synchronize the map position with the current location. To save the coordinates obtained during movement, a track recording mode is provided, which creates a separate map and puts the trajectory of movement onto it. For all objects of a map during the work the basic information is provided.

  • 23.01.2024 In the Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information the tools of designing aeronautical maps in accordance with ICAO requirements have been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information version 8.2.6 under the control of the GIS "Panorama" or GIS "Operator" has been developed. The new version expands the modes for formation of border design of aeronautical maps in accordance with the requirements of ICAO Doc 8697 ("Manual on Aeronautical Charts") and the AIP of the Russian Federation.
    Dialogs for input of the information have been updated ("Input airports and heliports to database", "Input of obstacles, OCA/OCH sectors", "Maintaining the runway profile database") for maintaining a PostgreSQL database in two measurement systems (feet and meters).
    In the program the list of the keywords used for filling templates with information from a database of the Complex in feet and meters has been expanded: airport elevation (ft/m), transition height, exceeding the threshold, absolute/relative height of flight over obstacles (OCA/H), the minimum safe height of flight in sector and others. The full list of keywords is given in the "System Programmer's Guide" document.
    The Complex includes a set of templates for creating border designs for aeronautical maps. The template file is a user map in *.sitx format, created on the basis of the dfc.rsc classifier. Keywords are stored in the semantics of the object "Own name, signature text". The program allows the use of templates developed by the user in accordance with the recommendations set out in the document "Methodology of preparing for publication of a collection of aeronautical information".
    The dialog "Interface for formation of marginal (out border) design and maps of section AD" has been improved. Function has been added for scaling the original map and map with border design, which allows you to model a displaying the scheme taking into account its size.
    The "Map Editor" task, which is part of the GIS "Panorama", has been improved. A new mode "Auto-transfer of labels lines" has been added into the "Labels" mode group, designed to perform interactive formatting of multi-line labels texts on a map when designing templates. When changing the size of the label metric by moving its second point, the label text is automatically split into lines, which ensures that the overall text width corresponds to the specified size.

  • 16.01.2024 GIS "Panorama" expands the tools of automated creation of complex objects on topographic maps of the area
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 15.1.0 has been developed for the OS "Astra Linux Special Edition", OS "Alt Linux", "RED OS" and Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 LTS. In the new version the modes of the map's editing task have been improved, support for the WebP format has been added, display of matrixes of heights and depths with smoothing has been accelerated. In the program the possibilities of import of the raster data are expanded, the library of programmable signs of aeronautical documents has been improved. The new version uses the libraries of the cross-platform Qt framework version 5.
    The modes "Corner rounding", "Create bergstrich in point","Create double bergstrich on the closed contours" and "Creation of zone by object" of the "Autoshapes" group have been added into the task of editing vector maps. The "Corner rounding" mode is designed to give smooth shapes to the contours of objects by setting the radius of rounding corners by moving the mouse pointer. The modes "Create bergstrich in point" and ","Create double bergstrich on the closed contours" are intended for the automatic formation of berghishes (indicators of the direction of the slope) on selected relief's objects (horizontals) of the map. Their location on the horizontal is determined automatically (in places farthest from geometric center of the selected object). The metric of the created object is formed automatically perpendicularly to the selected object to the right of the digitizing direction of the selected horizontal. The length of created object is calculated according to the sizes specified for it in the digital classifier.
    The "Building of a zone around the object" mode is used to perform parallel constructions. Editing can be performed in single mode (an object selected on the map) or group mode (a group of objects previously selected on the map or a logical set of objects). When working in single mode, the width of the created zone is set interactively on the map. During group processing, a dialog for requesting parameters of zone construction is displayed, in which the radius and type of the zone to be formed (rounded or with sharp corners) are set.
    Connecting spatial data in Mbtiles, BIR, GeoPackage formats has been improved. The new version adds support for the Webp format, used to compress images in Mbtiles, BIR, GeoPackage databases and geoportals. The Webp format allows both lossy and lossless image compression. The format is based on algorithm of compression of the still image (key frame) from the VP8 video codec. Uses a RIFF container for storage. On average, it compresses images 40% more efficiently than the JPEG format. It is widely used for transmitting data and images in geoportals, due to its smaller volume, it allows to accelerate data transfer. There is added a new geoportal - Topographic maps of the world.
    Drawing matrixes of heights and depths with smoothing has been accelerated. The display of smoothed matrixes is decomposed into threads, which significantly reduces delays when working with them. For example, on a 4-core processor with a clock frequency of 3.5 GHz, the speed of displaying the smoothed matrix increased by 2.5 times.
    The task "Import of raster data" has been improved. Import of rasters of format MrSID (SID) and ECW has been added. Formats are used to compress raster graphics. By means of these formats, packed huge raster images such as aerial photography and satellite photos can be quickly viewed piecemeal without the need to unpack the entire file.
    The library of programmable signs (dfc.iml64), used for preparing aeronautical documents with the dfc.rsc classifier, has been improved. The display of the MSA sign (minimum safe altitudes) has been improved in accordance with the requirements of ICAO (ICAO, International Civil Aviation Organization). The new programmable sign "Scheme of safe altitudes (MSA)" allows more flexible setting of parameters: size and thickness of the circle line, type and thickness of the course indicator line, parameters of fonts for course and altitude signatures, distance between two-line altitude signatures (spacing). The new sign has an adaptive algorithm of scheme construction that takes into account the sizes of the central element of the scheme, the course indicator and the height of the course font.
    The new version uses the libraries of the cross-platform framework Qt version 5. As a result, in addition to domestic operating systems (Astra Linux, Alt Linux and RED OS), support has been added for one of the most popular modern distributions of the Linux family - Ubuntu (versions 20.04 and 22.04 with long-term technical support). Using Ubuntu as a desktop environment allows you to utilize the wide ecosystem of applications and tools available in this operating system's repository.
    GIS "Panorama" - universal domestic geoinformation system. The program is designed for accumulation, storage, the automated processing and display of data, calculation results and forecasts with geospatial reference. GIS "Panorama" contains tools of displaying and processing vector, raster and matrix maps. The application provides users with tools for solving specialized tasks of modeling the movement of special objects against the background of 3D model, forecasting of consequences of emergencies at hazardous objects, monitoring of aircraft movement, conducting of geodetic and topographic work, processing the data from GPS/GLONASS navigation devices, printing the displayed spatial data to various output devices and many others.

    Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of the Republic of Mauritania, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.
    Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".

  • 11.01.2024 Products of KB "Panorama" have received certificates of compatibility with Astra Linux operating system
    LLC "RusBITech-Astra" and JSC KB "Panorama" have successfully completed testing the compatibility of GIS Constructor for Qt Designer x64 and the "Geoportal Region" software package. These certificates confirm the operability and correctness of the joint functioning of the special-purpose operating system Astra Linux Special Edition and the GIS Constructor software for Qt Designer x64 and the complex for maintaining the regional geoportal "Geoportal Region". Compatibility certificates were prepared on the basis of protocol No. 15466/2023 dated December 6, 2023 and No. 15468/2023 dated December 14, 2023 of RusBITech-Astra LLC.
    The complex of conducting the regional geoportal "Geoportal Region" ensures the collection, processing and analysis of spatial data in the interests of the information system for managing the socio-economic development of the region. This allows you to make weighed and informed decisions in various types of activities: urban planning, cadastre, agriculture, transport, ecology, healthcare and others. A specialized regional geoportal is being built using serial domestic software from KB "Panorama". GIS "Panorama" provides employees of various departments with functionality for preparing digital maps, which are subsequently placed on a spatial data server managed by GIS Server SE. The spatial data service GIS WebService SE ensures the publication of materials on a regional geoportal under the control of GIS WebServer SE. For the convenience of users, industry data layers are grouped into industry projects, access to which is determined by role and rights.
    GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).
    The complex for maintaining the regional geoportal "Geoportal Region" and the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE are included in the Register of Domestic Software and are certified in the information security certification system for information security requirements for processing information classified as "secret".

  • 08.01.2024 In GIS Constructor the tools of processing digital terrain models have been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 15.0.1 has been developed. In the new version a support of WebP format has been added, display of matrixes of heights and depths with smoothing has been accelerated. The ability to open spatial data via the WCS protocol has been implemented, the list of available MAPAPI interface methods and supported geoportals has been expanded.
    Connection of spatial data in Mbtiles, BIR, GeoPackage formats has been improved. The new version adds support for the WebP format, used to compress images in Mbtiles, BIR, GeoPackage databases and geoportals. The Webp format allows both lossy and lossless image compression. The format is based on algorithm of compression of the still image (key frame) from the VP8 video codec. Uses a RIFF container for storage. On average, it compresses images 40% more efficiently than the JPEG format. It is widely used for transmitting data and images in geoportals. Due to its smaller volume, it allows to accelerate data transfer. The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. There is added a new geoportal - Topographic maps of the world.
    Drawing matrixes of heights and depths with smoothing has been accelerated. The display of smoothed matrixes is decomposed into threads, which significantly reduces delays when working with them. For example, on a 4-core processor with a clock frequency of 3.5 GHz, the speed of displaying the smoothed matrix increased by 2.5 times.
    Possibility of connecting digital terrain models via the WCS protocol has been added. Connection to WСS-сервису is carried out on the basis of standards the OGC 09-110r4 Web Coverage Service. At the same time, data from any number of WCS services can be opened together with data from geoportals, data from GIS Servers, and locally open data. To increase the speed of working with the WCS service, data caching is supported on the client. The information received from the service allows you to create 3D terrain models onto an area of any size, up to the surface of the entire Globe.
    The list of available MAPAPI methods has been expanded. The list of methods for editing signature text includes methods for setting text into a subobject with division into lines, adjusting text to the size of a rectangular area, and setting general text alignment. Function of exporting MTW into TIFF has been implemented, allowing to set a height format, algorithm and level of compression, sizes of a tile, value of a pseudo-code and other parameters. Methods have been added for displaying selected lists of objects with custom styles (specified conventional signs) in the open document. It allows the user to group objects into lists and to set own style of display to each list. Custom styles are a set of conventional signs by localizations.

The toolkit includes components of visual designing the GIS applications and library of a multiplatform multithreaded GIS core. GIS Constructor provides a cross-platform MAPAPI interface that allows a programmer to implement development in an operating system convenient for it. The developer can release GIS applications for a set of operating systems by simple assembly with minimal changes to the program source code.

  • 06.01.2024 Training video material on creation of vector signs in the GIS "Panorama" classifier editor has been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson of formation of a vector sign with using the "Сlassifier Editor" task in the GIS "Panorama", "Workstation of cadastral engineer", "Workstation of agronomist" and other software products of KB "Panorama". To display off-scale point and vector map objects in the classifier editor the "Vector sign" view is used. Vector signs are formed by means of tools of drawing linear and areal contours and drawing of inscriptions. The image of a vector sign can consist of one or more shapes (elements).
    The video lesson demonstrates the work of the "Vector sign editing" dialog. Dialog contains a line of tools of signs editing, the panel of attributes of signs display, the table of elements of a sign and additional tools of sign editing.
    The line of sign editing tools contains modes for creating and editing sign elements and inscriptions. In it the possibility of loading a file of the image in formats png, jpg, ico, bmp has been added. The background image allows to put vector contours by a raster sample.
    The line of attributes of signs display contains modes that affect the display in the map. Into the panel there were added the modes "Text element specifying the width of the character" which allows to take into account the length of the text when displaying the sign and "an Element maintaining proportions". This property allows you to maintain the proportions of the element when expanding the sign.

  • 04.01.2024 "Workstation of agronomist" reduces time costs for creating a field map and analyzing the land bank of an agricultural enterprise
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 15.1.2 has been developed. In the new version, the "Satellite-based field recognition" mode has been updated, the "Lists of objects" dialog and the "Map Legend" task have been improved. The integrated application of the "Workstation of agronomist" modes implements automated technology for maintaining a land bank and soil fertility base.
    The updated mode "Satellite-based field recognition" ensures recognition of the boundaries of agricultural land contours based on Earth's remote sensing data. The program interacts with the Mapflow.ai service and, using a neural network, automatically deciphers and delineates the boundaries of working areas of arable land. The new version changes the user authorization protocol for the service, including the use of tokens issued in the user’s personal account. Information processing is performed in a local area limited by the polygon indicated on the map. The construction area can be specified by a rectangle or an arbitrary closed polygon. The construction of a vector model of working areas of arable land is carried out on the basis of automatically selected current remote sensing data of medium (10 m/px) and high resolution (1.2 m/px). In the new version a recognition of fields boundaries from Sentinel-2 images has been added. The vector data constructed by means of service is automatically loaded into the GIS "Panorama" from GeoJSON format onto a map of the working areas of the agricultural enterprise. The field map is used to maintain field passports, construct thematic cartograms, obtain vegetation indices, maps of heterogeneity and nitrogen requirements, calculate the application of fertilizer doses and other agrotechnical calculations.
    In the process of maintaining a land bank for an agricultural enterprise, the boundaries of field contours are often compared with the boundaries of cadastral objects. Determination of intersections and overlaps is performed using the "Object intersection calculation" mode. For clarity of the results of the analysis of the relative position of various groups of objects in the form of thematic layers, the "Lists of objects" dialog has been improved. Possibility of displaying list of objects by style (conventional symbol) customized by the user has been added. In the "Lists of objects" dialog, custom styles are automatically formed for the selected lists of objects. Custom styles for displaying lists of objects are a set of conventional symbols for polygons, lines and points. Style sets can be combined into themes. New features allow you to quickly add lists by selected objects on the map and perform tasks with lists: Building a zone around objects of the selected list, Cutting objects, Union of objects, Building the areas of objects crossing.
    The application task "Map Legend" has been improved. Display of named lists of objects in the legend dialog has been added. Enabling and disabling the visibility of object lists is done by simply clicking the left mouse button on the icon corresponding to the list. On the map, lists of objects are displayed as separate thematic layers in accordance with user-customized legends. The composition and order of display of thematic layers in the general data list is controlled by enabling and disabling the visibility of the list of objects in the bottom panel. The convenience of designing the appearance of thematic layers has been improved: assigning a style and color to the list of objects has been added. Simple addition of selected objects into the list with automatic formation of names has been implemented.
