Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of the Kirov region, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".

Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on creating a GIS application using the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer and an AI agent in the Cursor environment. The material is intended for programmers who need to quickly transition from problem statement to a working C++ project and reduce the amount of manual preparation of standard program code.

During the lesson, the developer formulates requirements for the future program in natural language and provides the AI agent with access to documentation, header files, and examples from the development kit. Based on this, the agent creates source code for a Qt Creator project, utilizing components of the GIS Constructor and MAPAPI functions. This approach automates a significant part of application development, helps developers understand the program interface more quickly, and frees up time for designing architecture, checking logic, and testing results.

The application being created opens and displays a selected map, allows configuring its display composition, panning and zooming, selecting objects within a rectangular area, managing selections, and creating and editing object geometries. These features are implemented using the QDMapView, QDMapManager, QDMapSelectRect, and QDMapEditMetric components. The ready-made components handle basic interactive operations with spatial data, so the programmer does not have to develop them from scratch.

GIS Constructor for Qt Designer provides visual and non-visual components, GIS core libraries, the MAPAPI interface, documentation, demonstration projects, and test data. The toolkit provides developers with a foundation for creating application systems for displaying, editing, and analyzing spatial information within the familiar Qt ecosystem. The combination of a ready-made technology platform with an AI agent reduces the effort required to learn the SDK, accelerates prototyping, and simplifies the transfer of proven solutions into custom projects.

The presented methodology can be used as a quick start for developing GIS applications and as a way to automate repetitive programming tasks. At the same time, the specialist maintains control over the requirements, analyzes the generated code, and verifies the correctness of working with spatial data.

You can view the new video material in the "Video Tutorials" section.

Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a new edition of digital classifiers in Russian and English for creating aeronautical charts. The classifiers contain descriptions of layers, objects, and their attributes required for digital representation of airspace structure information. They support data management for air traffic services, airspace restrictions, ATS routes, navigation points and radio navigation aids, aerodrome network, and obstacles.

The digital classifiers dfc.rscz and dfc_en.rscz are included in GIS "Panorama" and the "Aeronautical Information Documents Preparation Suite". They are used in the generation of aeronautical documents employed for airspace structure planning, flight route planning and study, engineering and navigational calculations, visual and radar orientation, route design, and determination of flight navigation parameters.

In the new edition, the composition of group semantics has been expanded to describe complex object characteristics. Added semantics include: "Go-around Instructions", "Significant Point Distance Description", "Route Segment Usage Restrictions", "Holding Pattern Description for Procedure Segment", "Calculated Characteristics of Final Approach Descent", "Airspace Class Description", "Altitude Restrictions Description on Maneuvering Segment", and others.

The use of group semantics allows combining interrelated object characteristics and reducing the number of individual attributes in the general list. For example, the group semantics "Altitude Restrictions Description on Maneuvering Segment" combines information about minimum safe altitude along the segment, minimum and maximum crossing altitudes at the segment end, methods of their measurement, aircraft restrictions, and remarks. This semantics is assigned to symbols of the "SID STAR IAP Routes" layer.

The layer structure of the classifiers has been revised. The "Routes" layer has been split into separate layers: "ATS Routes (Airways)", "SID STAR IAP Routes", and "Holding Routes". The "Turning Points and Radio Navigation Aids" layer has been renamed to "Radio Navigation Aids and Route Points". For more convenient data systematization, layers now include object class divisions. For example, the "ATS Routes (Airways)" layer contains the classes "Route Segments and Description" and "Other Routes", while objects of the "Aerodrome Network" layer are distributed across nine classes, including aerodromes and heliports, runways, parking stands and aprons, taxiways and paths, lighting, labels and markings, services and organizations.

The "Radio Navigation Aids and Route Points" layer has been supplemented with "Airspace Reporting Point" and "Airspace Reporting Point Label" objects. The attribute composition of the "Point Purpose in Airspace" characteristic has been revised, and the semantics "Point Position in Airspace" and "Navigation Point Application in Airspace" have been added.

The new characteristics enable the display of Free Route Airspace (FRA) on aeronautical charts. The use of such airspace structure allows flight planning between established entry and exit points with the selection of more efficient flight trajectories, contributing to reduced travel time, fuel consumption, and CO? emissions.

Updated classifiers are available for download in the "Classifiers" section.

Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a new instructional video lesson on the capabilities of tall-tree forest recognition using the "Automatic Image Recognition" task within GIS "Panorama".

Using remote sensing data as an example, the full processing cycle is shown—from selecting the source image to generating ready-made vector objects. The technology enables automatic detection of forest areas on satellite and aerial imagery, as well as on materials obtained from unmanned aerial vehicles.

The video demonstrates the operation of the specialized neural network model "Forest" of the Panorama Vision service. The model performs image analysis and vegetation segmentation, determining the location of tall-tree forest areas on the terrain.

Recognition results are automatically generated as vector objects with linkage to a digital classifier. The resulting spatial data can be immediately used in GIS for analysis, editing, accounting, and subsequent territory monitoring.

The technology can be applied to forest fund monitoring, updating forest area boundaries based on new remote sensing data, planning reforestation activities, and addressing operational territory control tasks.

The use of Panorama Vision integrated with GIS "Panorama" reduces the volume of manual vectorization and accelerates the preparation of up-to-date spatial data from remote sensing materials.

The video is available in the "Video Tutorials" section.
