KB "Panorama" has developed GIS "Panorama Mobile" version 2.0 for the Android OS. The new version adds support for MVT (Mapbox Vector Tiles) vector tiles in PBF format, which can be used as a cartographic basemap for working maps and recorded routes. The mechanism for displaying spatial data has been improved, ensuring interface responsiveness when panning and zooming the map. Map rotation has been implemented for convenient user orientation on the terrain.

Support for vector tiles expands the possibilities for connecting cartographic sources on mobile devices. The MVT format defines the structure of vector tiles containing geometry and attributes of objects distributed across thematic layers, while PBF provides their compact binary representation based on Protocol Buffers technology. The application sequentially loads and displays tiles for the current screen area and selected scale without preliminary loading of the entire spatial dataset, maintaining interface responsiveness during their processing and rendering. The user can pan, zoom, and rotate the map while missing fragments continue to load. This ensures high-quality display of lines, contours, and labels when changing scale and simplifies working with detailed maps over mobile networks with limited bandwidth. Map rotation allows the image to be oriented in a convenient direction and matched to the surrounding terrain. These advantages are especially valuable in situations where cartographic information must be quickly updated as location, scale, and direction of movement change: when displaying aeronautical charts in an aircraft cockpit, viewing the navigation situation on a ship's bridge, managing mobile team operations, and surveying extended objects of transport and engineering infrastructure.

The vector basemap can serve as the base layer of a mobile project, over which the user builds a working environment from local and remote spatial data. The project may include local SXF vector maps and AIXM aeronautical data, vector maps remotely opened from the GIS Server, imagery, matrices, and spatial databases, as well as geoportal data available via WMS, WMTS, WFS, and WFS-T protocols. Each source serves its own purpose: MVT tiles provide a general geographic context, specialized maps contain thematic information, imagery shows the actual state of the terrain, and GPS/GLONASS capabilities display the user's current position. This layered construction turns the project into a spatial data constructor, allowing the selection of maps tailored to a specific subject area. When solving aeronautical tasks, the basemap can be supplemented with a map formatted according to ICAO requirements, and for marine navigation, with a digital nautical chart displayed according to S-52 rules. Emergency and rescue services can combine the basemap with operational situation maps and current geoportal data, specialists from utility and transport organizations with engineering network schematics and survey objects, and agricultural and forestry workers with land use maps, fields, forest compartments, imagery, and monitoring results. For cadastral, environmental, and urban planning work, territorial boundaries, land plots, zones with special use conditions, and other thematic data can be displayed over the basemap. As a result, the user sees their position, route, and working information on a unified cartographic foundation in a familiar mobile device interface. The working map can be prepared in advance or created directly in GIS "Panorama Mobile", after which it is automatically connected to the project. During movement, the application records GPS/GLONASS receiver coordinates in a separate track map and displays the traveled path over all connected layers without modifying the source data. The resulting map can be exported to KML or SXF formats for further processing in KB "Panorama" desktop products.

Preparation of vector tiles for subsequent display in GIS "Panorama Mobile" can be performed using the Imagery Service program. It is designed for creating and updating tile pyramids for a specified territory and selected scale series. An example using prepared PBF map tiles (OpenStreetMap and Krasnodar Krai) has already been added to GIS "Panorama Mobile". Additionally, you can view an example of prepared tiles via the link. Digital vector maps hosted on the GIS Server or in local storage can be used as source data. When cutting vector tiles, the source map is divided into zoom levels and territorial fragments, which are saved as MVT vector tiles in PBF binary format. Imagery Service allows processing large volumes of spatial data and, when source maps change, updating only those tiles whose territory is affected by the changes. This reduces the time for repeated data preparation and ensures the relevance of maps used on mobile devices.

GIS "Panorama Mobile" uses the MAPAPI programming interface, which provides extensive capabilities for performing calculations and displaying spatial data in standard and user-defined symbol systems. Access to the MAPAPI programming interface is through the Java Native Interface (JNI) programming interface. The JNI interface allows Java/Kotlin code to call MAPAPI libraries implemented in C/C++. An example implementation of this interface is included in the GIS Constructor for Android.

The new version of GIS "Panorama Mobile" is available on the website in the DownloadDownload section.

KB "Panorama" has developed the "Urban Planner Workstation" version 15.5.6. In the new version, when generating a land use planning document (GPZU), the program automatically searches for and inserts into the report information on the calculated indicators of the minimum permissible level of territory provision with communal, transport, and social infrastructure facilities, as well as the calculated indicators of the maximum permissible level of territorial accessibility of these facilities for the population. This process is performed if the land plot is located within the boundaries of a territory for which integrated development activities are envisaged. Additionally, the filling of requirements for the architectural-urban appearance of capital construction objects has been automated. For automation, a land use zoning map is used, containing "Integrated Territory Development" and "Architectural-Urban Appearance of Capital Construction Objects" objects, along with corresponding registries in the urban planning information database. To maintain new registries, the "Urban Planning Regulations" mode has been updated, ensuring the entry of information from the Land Use and Development Rules (PZZ) of the municipality and other territorial development documents.

The boundaries of integrated territory development (KRT) and zones of architectural-urban appearance (AGO) requirements are applied to the land use zoning map. For each KRT or AGO object, a corresponding record is created in the registry. For each KRT, the calculated indicators of the minimum permissible level of provision with communal, transport, and social infrastructure facilities, as well as the maximum permissible level of territorial accessibility, are saved in the database. For each AGO zone, the database stores requirements for building appearance: facade materials, color schemes, height, architectural elements. The program analyzes the relative location of the land plot, KRT boundaries, and AGO zones, finds the corresponding information in the database, and inserts it into the appropriate section of the land use planning document.

Taking into account the new registries and program capabilities, the "Land Use Planning Document", "Land Plots", "Capital Construction Objects", "Premises", "Subjects", and "Subject Representatives" modes have been updated. The registries for land plots, capital construction objects (OKS), and premises have added the ability to select an address from the Federal Address Information System (FIAS). The registries for subjects and their representatives have added fields to ensure completeness of records and compliance with personal data legislation requirements: SNILS, email, and a file-consent for personal data processing, which allows for more complete and secure accounting of authorized subjects.

The new version of the program is available on our website in the Download section.

KB "Panorama" has developed the "Panorama Vision" Automatic Recognition and Vectorization Suite version 2.0.0. In the new version, the "Automatic Image Recognition" and "Search for Unregistered Objects" tasks have been enhanced with the ability to determine the relative height of buildings. This mode expands the composition of input data and allows joint processing of color terrain images and elevation matrices.

A new neural network model analyzes the orthophotomap simultaneously with elevation data. The elevation matrix is connected to the raster as an additional information source and is transmitted together with the image to the "Panorama Vision" service. Using two data types allows for refining building boundaries in complex cases where adjacent objects have similar color and texture or are not sufficiently contrasted against the surrounding terrain. Additionally, this model supports building recognition using only elevation matrices in the absence of color images.

In addition to refining building contours, elevation matrices are used for automatic estimation of their relative height above the adjacent surface level. The obtained values are stored in the object semantics under the attribute RelativeHeight and can be used in further analysis, creation of three-dimensional terrain models, and updating cartographic data. To use the new feature, simply enable the "Calculate height" parameter when creating a request.

Additionally, algorithms for separating closely spaced buildings have been improved. At the post-processing stage, a watershed mechanism has been implemented that allows automatic separation of buildings connected by narrow bridges on the mask. This reduces the number of erroneously merged objects and improves the quality of subsequent vectorization.

Source data for the new mode can be prepared using the "Panorama Photo" program. Based on the processing of aerial photography materials captured using UAVs, the program generates orthophotomaps and corresponding elevation matrices, which are then transmitted to the recognition service as part of a single request. As a result, the user receives a unified technological process: from photogrammetric processing of survey materials to automatic building recognition, boundary refinement, and height estimation.

In addition to buildings, the "Panorama Vision" suite allows vectorizing roads, forest contours, agricultural fields, and hydrographic objects (rivers, ponds, lakes, and others), as well as detecting vehicles in images. The service is hosted on the Internet on KB "Panorama" servers. Access to the service is provided from the list of application tasks in GIS "Panorama"; for calculating building heights, version 15.5.6 or higher is required.

The current version of GIS "Panorama" is available on the website in the Download section.

KB "Panorama" has developed GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 15.2.0 for Astra Linux Special Edition, Alt Linux, RED OS, Ubuntu, and MS Windows. The new version ensures rapid opening of large projects without data reading delays, improves terrain data processing tools, and adds a new component for convenient map management.

Support has been implemented for asynchronous opening of large vector maps with volumes of tens of gigabytes containing millions of objects. Data loading is performed in the background and does not block the GIS application's operation. When closing a map that is being loaded, the background process is automatically interrupted. After loading is complete, the data becomes available for viewing and editing. This allows developers to create multi-document applications where end users can view and edit previously loaded data and switch between windows while large maps are being opened. Information about the operation's progress can be implemented in the GIS application interface as progress indicators showing the loading percentage of each map. The use of asynchronous vector map opening and progress display is demonstrated in the mapview test example included in the GIS Constructor installation.

The program has accelerated the retrieval and display of terrain data requested via the OGC WCS protocol. Visualization is now performed taking into account the current map scale: to speed up display, tiles corresponding to the current zoom level are requested from the server. At the same time, for analytical operations – constructing terrain profiles, querying information at a point, and other calculations – the highest resolution data is always used. GIS WebService SE can be used as a source of matrix data, allowing rapid acquisition of height data for the entire globe. For example, the GEBCO layer with 15 second resolution contains ocean bathymetry data, including depths, seafloor topography and names of underwater features, as well as land and ice surface elevation data.

A new map management component, QDMapManager, has been implemented. The component increases the efficiency of GIS application development by implementing the following map image actions: discrete zooming using the keyboard, smooth zooming with the mouse wheel, panning the map image by mouse button and keyboard, and displaying the entire map in the window. When the cursor is moved over the map, the management component provides current map scale values and coordinates in various systems (WGS 84, SK-42, SK-95, MSK) and units of measurement (degrees, degrees with decimals, radians). When clicking on the map, the component independently searches for map objects at the click point and displays object information in a separate window: coordinates, semantics, and reference information. The developer only needs to create an instance of QDMapManager on the form and specify the QDMapView map display component, whose operation it automates. The use of the new map management component is demonstrated in the myfirst test example included in the GIS Constructor installation.

GIS Constructor is adapted for operation on a wide range of operating systems (Astra Linux Special Edition, RED OS, Alt Linux, Ubuntu, Windows, Elbrus, QNX) and architectures (Intel, ARM, Elbrus). The toolkit includes visual design components for GIS applications and libraries of a cross-platform multi-threaded GIS core. GIS Constructor provides a cross-platform MAPAPI interface, allowing programmers to develop in their preferred operating system. Developers can release GIS applications for a set of operating systems by simple recompilation with minimal changes to the program's source code.

The new version of the program is available for download in the Download section.
