KB "Panorama" has developed the Professional Vectorizer "Panorama-editor" version 15.5.4. In the new version, tools for creating digital maps, automatic geodata processing, and working with large volumes of spatial information have been improved. Editing, object recognition, and geoportal interaction tools have been enhanced.

Support for geoportals with vector tiles in PBF and GPKG formats has been implemented in "Panorama-editor". This ensures work with multi-scale data, automatic style application, and display of semantics at different detail levels. The list of connectable sources includes a geoportal for vessel movement monitoring with real-time data display.

A mechanism for background loading of large vector maps, up to tens of gigabytes in size, has been added. The user can continue working with the data without waiting for full loading, while the process status is displayed in the interface, followed by automatic map updating.

Editing tools have been improved. Object creation and digitization modes have been expanded, additional snapping mechanisms to map elements have been implemented, and work with area objects has been enhanced. The ability to simultaneously open and edit properties of multiple objects has been added, simplifying data comparison and copying.

Tools for working with semantics and labels have been developed, including label formation based on priority attributes, value selection from composite semantics, and flexible configuration of text information display. Tools for configuring custom toolbars with Python script integration have been implemented, coordinate system support has been expanded, and diagnostic tools have been improved.

In automatic recognition tasks, image analysis capabilities have been enhanced. Support for determining address information has been added, and a mode for searching for unregistered objects with clear color indication of differences has been implemented.

Data import and export functions have been expanded. Support for saving object styles when exporting to GML and JSON formats in accordance with the OGC SLD standard has been implemented. Work with CSV, TXT, and Shapefile when loading coordinate data has been improved.

Search, filtering, and object list management tools, including grouping, display configuration, and selection processing, have been improved. Printing and exporting cartographic materials tools have been expanded. Visualization of spatial information has been improved through new types of diagrams displayed directly on the map. Support for MTD models based on LAS version 1.5 data has been added, and 3D analysis capabilities have been expanded.

Representatives of KB "Panorama" participated in the seminar "Modern Mine Surveying and Geological Equipment and Software", held in Moscow from March 23 to 25, 2026. As part of the business program, the company's specialists presented a report on the application of geographic information systems in the oil and gas industry. The focus was on the capabilities of KB "Panorama" software products for comprehensive support of all stages of extracting enterprises' activities — from field exploration to infrastructure operation and environmental monitoring. The presented solutions demonstrate how a unified geographic information platform allows consolidating heterogeneous spatial data, forming a cohesive digital model of the enterprise and the surrounding environment.

Particular emphasis was placed on the practical value of using GIS "Panorama" for supporting drilling operations and managing hydrocarbon extraction and transportation facilities. The system's tools provide precise well positioning, geological condition analysis, engineering cross-section construction, and control over the spatial position of the wellbore. This significantly improves the quality of technical decisions and reduces production risks.

KB "Panorama" software products enable efficient accounting of infrastructure objects, including pipelines, pumping stations, and production sites, using integration with relational and spatial databases. Support for a wide range of formats and geoportals provides access to external data sources and expands analytical capabilities for enterprises, which is especially important when working with distributed assets and extended objects.

An important advantage of the solutions is the developed toolkit for terrain analysis and earthwork volume calculation, as well as for modeling emergency situations, including forecasting oil spill zones. These functions contribute to improving industrial and environmental safety, which is a critically important factor for the oil and gas industry.

Additionally, the system's capabilities in the field of environmental monitoring were demonstrated, allowing for comprehensive analysis of the state of the environment, tracking changes over time, and generating thematic maps to support management decisions. The use of such tools helps enterprises comply with environmental requirements and minimize their impact on the environment.

KB "Panorama"'s participation in the seminar confirmed the high level of demand for domestic geographic information technologies in the oil and gas sector. The presented solutions clearly demonstrated that the implementation of comprehensive GIS platforms helps improve production process efficiency, enhance data quality, and form a unified digital space for the enterprise.

This seminar brought together specialists from the mining and oil and gas industries, software developers, and specialized organizations. The event served as a platform for discussing current issues of production process digitalization, improving the accuracy of geodetic and geological work, and introducing modern geoinformation technologies in industry.

Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of the Pitcairn Islands, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".

KB "Panorama" has developed the Automatic Recognition and Vectorization Suite "Panorama Vision" version 1.9.1. In the new version, a number of important improvements have been implemented aimed at increasing the accuracy of interpreting satellite data and aerial photographs.

Forest recognition quality on winter images has been improved. The neural network model has been retrained to account for seasonal features of images, including snow cover texture and reduced contrast of forest boundaries. Updated post-processing algorithms for semantic masks allow reducing the number of false positives under winter survey conditions.

Building recognition accuracy on satellite and aerial photographs has been improved. The improvements affected both the segmentation stage and subsequent post-processing of results. Neural network models were retrained on new images of Russian cities. Algorithms for adjusting building outlines to rectangular form have been improved: the service now more accurately determines the dominant orientation of the object and works more stably with complex L-, U-, E-, and other composite shapes. As a result, the outlines become more precise, orthogonal, and suitable for further use in cartographic and cadastral tasks.

A new neural network model, "Roads (rural areas)", has been added to the "Panorama Vision" suite, trained for segmenting dirt roads on satellite images of rural territories. The model has greater sensitivity in extracting unpaved roads outside and inside settlements, allowing a reduction in the number of breaks in the road network after vectorization.

Furthermore, the quality of processing large images has been improved by eliminating artifacts when stitching tiles. Previously, when processing large rasters, local mask defects and recognition instability could occur in border zones between individual image fragments. The updated processing scheme ensures consistent object formation across the entire image area, including on large rasters. This is especially important for large scenes covering urban development, forests, and agricultural territories.

The implemented changes make the service more accurate and stable when processing large data volumes in tasks related to forest fund monitoring, capital construction inventory, and cartographic information updating. To use the Panorama Vision service, you need to launch the "Automatic image recognition" task from the main menu of GIS "Panorama": Launch applications - Automatic object creation - Automatic Recognition and Vectorization Suite - Automatic image recognition.

KB "Panorama" has developed GIS "Operator" version 15.5.4. In the new version, capabilities for working with special maps and geoportals with vector data have been expanded. Support for background loading of large data volumes has been added. Editing, import, and data visualization tools have been improved.

For special maps (aeronautical and nautical), new object types and attributes have been added, including meta-objects for forming hierarchical links between data elements. This allows more flexible description of complex structures and object interrelations without complicating map geometry.

Support for geoportals with vector tiles (PBF/GPKG) has been implemented, enabling work with multi-scale data and their automatic stylization. Background opening of large projects up to tens of gigabytes in size has been added, allowing work to continue without waiting for full loading.

Editing tools have been improved: capabilities for working with semantics and classifiers have been expanded, label formation has been improved, and simultaneous viewing and editing of properties for multiple objects has been implemented. Accuracy and convenience of creating and processing vector data have been enhanced.

Data import and export capabilities have been expanded, including support for GML/JSON with preservation of display styles. Search via the reference system and tools for working with object lists have been improved, simplifying navigation and data analysis in large projects.

Data visualization has been enhanced with new types of diagrams that allow clear display of statistical and thematic information directly on the map. Support for MTD models based on LAS version 1.5 data has been added, and 3D analysis capabilities have been expanded, increasing the efficiency of spatial data processing and interpretation.
