Specialists from KB "Panorama" together with students have prepared a video tutorial on working with the task. The task is available in , and other KB "Panorama" software products for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system.
The video tutorial demonstrates different types of data loading. The reviewed data can be imported into a new map or added to an existing one. During data import, the graphical representation of objects is preserved. In this case, map objects receive a zero classification code and graphical description corresponding to ACAD primitives, such as color and line type (where possible).
Additionally, the possibility of loading according to the map resource classifier with object recoding is considered. This allows creating a settings table for matching map classifier keys and DXF layers. To fill the table, it is necessary to match classifier object keys with DXF layers. This data is used for recoding objects according to the map classifier.
You can access the training materials in the "Video Tutorials" section.
KB "Panorama" has developed version 11.2.2 for Astra Linux SE, RED OS, Ubuntu 18.04, CentOS 8, and MS Windows operating systems. The new version expands the list of user restrictions for data management from GIS Server. For data accessed from GIS Server, restrictions can be set on copying (export to other formats, transfer of objects to other maps), printing, viewing coordinate system parameters, coordinate editing, storing copies of edited objects, accessing cache on the client without GIS Server registration, editing the digital RSC classifier, and others. Restrictions are set by the program administrator through the web interface and are saved in GIS Server settings. The prohibition on coordinate editing gives users rights to change only attributive data of map objects (semantics) and refine graphic parameters without changing coordinates or coordinate system parameters in the map passport (metadata).
GIS Server provides remote multi-user access to vector maps, remote sensing data, and spatial databases for desktop products and web services. Storing data on the server ensures protection against illegal viewing, copying, modification, and printing.
The new version of the program is available for download on the page.
Geoportal has been supplemented with a map of the Kingdom of Cambodia, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of . Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".
KB "Panorama" has developed a for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system. The program is an additional module for version 15. The complex includes tools for generating cadastral and land management documents in the "Cadastral Documents" and "Geodetic Editor" tasks.
The "Cadastral Documents" module includes modes such as , , , , , , , , , and . All these modes are designed for data preparation and cadastral document generation. Using standard GIS "Panorama" tools, a map is created containing new and refined (modified) cadastral objects that define object geometry. Attribute information required for reports and electronic documents is entered into the map objects' semantics or the cadastral work database.
Text reports are created in DOCX format according to established forms, and electronic documents are created using XML schemas depending on the document type. The "Map (Plan) of Land Management Object" mode supports XML document generation according to interact_map_plan_v01.xsd or interact_map_plan_v02.xsd schemas. The "Land Survey Plan" mode supports XML document generation according to MP_v09.xsd schema. The "Territory Map-Plan" mode supports XML document generation according to MapPlanTerritory_v01.xsd and MapPlanTerritory_v02.xsd schemas. The "Registry Error Correction" mode supports XML document generation according to ReportRegistryError_v01.xsd and RegistryErrorReport.xsd schemas. The "Plot Location Scheme on Cadastral Plan" mode supports XML document generation according to SchemaParcels.xsd schema.
The "Geodetic Editor" module includes groups of modes: , , , , , , , and . This module's modes contain special tools designed for mapping information obtained during field cadastral and land management work. Additionally, the module includes tools for designing schemes and drawings with dimension lines, callouts, dimension labels, and explanatory notes. The report wizard tools are designed to support the generation of text reports in custom forms configurable by users.
The report wizard uses pre-prepared DOCX templates and ensures sequential execution of the following operations: map object selection, object scheme map creation, scheme map viewing and editing, template-based report creation, filling the report with information from map object metrics and semantics, and inserting scheme map images into the report. The software report wizard is used in modes , ", and . The "Scheme and Report Settings" dialog is used to manage sequential operations. Depending on the active mode, the dialog displays different tab sets, including "Scheme Parameters", "Object Codes", "Report Parameters" and "Images".
In accordance with regulatory requirements, graphical images of schemes and drawings are included in XML documents in PDF format. However, inserting PDF files into DOCX format reports is not supported. For inserting images from attached PDF files, the mode ensures simultaneous saving of the map fragment in both PDF and JPG formats. When PDF format files are present in the list of attached graphic files, the report wizard automatically searches for the JPG file based on the PDF file name and inserts it into the report.
The new version of GIS "Panorama" with the "Complex of geodesy calculations" for "Astra Linux Special Edition" OS is available for download in the section.
As part of the training program at the of (MIIGAiK), students are interning at KB "Panorama" JSC. During the internship, participants learn about the capabilities of and the Automatic Recognition and Vectorization Complex.
One of the key focuses of the internship is studying technologies for automatic recognition of real estate objects from satellite images using neural networks. This is the most promising method for automatic addition and updating of cadastral information. Neural networks are trained based on manually recognized land plots, buildings, and structures. This method isn't perfect and can lead to inaccuracies since source images of each area are unique. Buildings across the country's regions can be constructed differently, resulting in neural networks trained on one type of terrain performing poorly when recognizing objects in different terrain types.
The interns' practical work involves preparing training datasets for the neural network models of the "Panorama Vision" complex. Tasks are performed in the professional GIS "Panorama" environment, for which temporary licenses were issued. During the work, students receive consultations from highly qualified company specialists. Interns solve practical problems of establishing buildings' true positions considering source information issues and construction conditions. Students received initial instruction, assignments, and methodological materials reflecting the specifics of digitizing training sample objects, considering private sectors, urban development, metal hangars, collective garages, and other objects. The results will be used for subsequent automation and improvement of cadastral activities in identifying objects not registered in the cadastre. The "Panorama Vision" complex is designed for automatic recognition and vectorization of agricultural lands, hydrographic features, and capital construction objects using Earth remote sensing data (satellite and aerial photographs).
is a project implementing professional retraining programs. These programs are part of the federal project "Development of IT Industry Human Resources", which is part of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation." This joint project between the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia allows students to obtain a new profession in information technology.
KB "Panorama" and MIIGAiK are long-standing strategic partners. Their joint activities are aimed at promoting domestic cartographic and geodetic education and geographic information systems software.
