KB "Panorama" specialists have successfully completed testing that confirms the compatibility and proper functioning of GIS "Panorama Mobile" with the RED OS M operating system. A compatibility certificate has been issued based on the test results.
enables users to open main digital map formats of on Android-based mobile devices and process information from built-in GPS/GLONASS receivers. Users can prepare necessary spatial data sets in advance, package them in standard ZIP archives, and transfer them to the "Panorama Mobile" mobile GIS. Data processing is performed offline, without Internet connection. As users move, their current position is dynamically displayed based on coordinates received from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. For user convenience, map position can be synchronized with current location. To save coordinates obtained during movement, there is a track recording mode that creates a separate map and plots the movement trajectory. Basic information is provided for all map objects during operation.
is a Russian mobile operating system that represents an integrated software complex based on Android Open Source Project and RED OS. RED OS M is a multi-user, multitasking operating system that ensures program execution in a secure environment. The system is designed for individual, group, and corporate use, automation of information, engineering, and production processes at enterprises of various levels. The OS developer, RED SOFT company, creates comprehensive projects in data storage and management based on its own software product portfolio.
The new version of the program is available for download in the section.
The KB "Panorama" has developed version 11.4.0. The new version expands the range of tile types that can be created. The program allows for the generation of tiles in JPEG, PNG, PNG8, Mbtiles, BIR, GeoPackage, WebP, and GeoJson formats according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0, TMS standard, and OGC 12-128r15 GeoPackage version 1.2.1. The WebP format is optimally suited for use on mobile devices and in high-load information systems due to its smaller size compared to other image storage formats. This format supports both lossy and lossless compression algorithms. A compressed image typically takes up to 30% less space compared to PNG. The WebP format supports transparency and can contain metadata for images. Using this format will increase network bandwidth due to reduced traffic volume, save device memory, and allow mobile and client applications, such as , to operate faster.
The new version of the service allows for the creation of vector tiles in GeoJson format. These tiles contain the geometry of objects, object metadata, semantic characteristics, as well as their appearance. Vector tiles are necessary for querying information based on spatial data and for building 3D models of terrain. They are used by client applications (for example, GIS WebServer SE) for automatic construction of 3D terrain models from two-dimensional tiles without the need for texture assignments.
Support has been added for the . "Astra Linux Special Edition" is a domestically certified operating system with built-in information protection tools (IPT) for stable and secure operation of IT infrastructures of any scale and processing information of varying confidentiality levels. The OS includes a suite of programs for solving everyday office and multimedia tasks. In Astra Linux Special Edition version 1.8, the "Astra Proxima" visual style has been implemented, support for two Linux kernels (6.1 and 6.6) has been included, the process of deploying and updating the system has been simplified, and other important changes have been made.
Tile data generated by the Imagery Service program is used by GIS WebServer SE and GIS WebService SE software products to ensure high-speed execution of requests for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously serving a large number of users. The new version of the program is available on the page.
The version 1.5 software for processing aerial photography materials has been developed by the "Panorama" Design Bureau using CUDA technology version 12.5. The program supports work with the latest Nvidia graphics processors featuring Hopper architecture (Nvidia H100 accelerators) and Ada Lovelace architecture (GeForce RTX 40xx series accelerators). This provides a significant performance increase (up to five times) compared to previous-generation Nvidia chips. The use of new numerically stable algorithms for solving systems of equations during the adjustment of computed elements of internal orientation enhances the accuracy of the generated point cloud.
"Panorama Photo" is designed to obtain digital terrain information from aerial photography materials. The primary product of the processing is a point cloud, which serves as the basis for creating a height matrix and an orthophoto map. The processing process is fully automated, except for an optional stage of measuring control points in the images.
The orthophoto maps obtained in "Panorama Photo" can be used to create and update vector maps using the automatic recognition and vectorization system "Panorama Vision". This system is based on artificial intelligence that utilizes trained neural networks. "Panorama Vision" allows for the recognition of contours of field areas, hydrological objects (rivers, ponds, lakes, and others), buildings, and structures. The client module of the system is invoked as an application task in the professional GIS "Panorama". It generates data processing requests to the server part of the system located on the technical resources of the KB "Panorama". As a result of the processing, a vector map is created with the contours of recognized objects, such as building outlines.
All processing results obtained in "Panorama Photo" and "Panorama Vision" (matrices, point clouds, orthophoto maps, vector maps) can subsequently be used in various software products from the KB "Panorama" for two-dimensional and three-dimensional (volumetric) visualization of terrain.
For organized storage and utilization of data, a "Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data" is employed. This complex serves as the foundation for building spatial data infrastructure at federal, regional, and municipal levels, as well as in corporate information systems. It is used for maintaining a cloud storage of spatial data sets, collecting and storing metadata, selecting and issuing spatial data upon request, preparing reports, forming and publishing geo-coverages, and displaying the status of the database in the form of map diagrams. It ensures remote placement of spatial data sets in file storage, version control of stored sets, updating map diagrams of data availability, and automated collection and formation of metadata.

Specialists from the KB "Panorama" have developed a video lesson on creating a series of objects in the task within the , , "Agronomist's Workstation", and other software products by the KB "Panorama".
A series of objects consists of several objects with the same code, localization characteristics, and semantic attributes. This type of object is intended to display classifier objects in cases where the object needs to change its appearance based on the values of attribute data. The formation of a series is carried out using the mode.
The video lesson demonstrates the creation of a series of objects based on a semantic characteristic consisting of a list of values. Additionally, it shows the possibility of making changes to the semantics not only for all objects but also for each object in the series. For example, for one or several objects, semantics can be designated as mandatory, while for others, it can be optional. This condition is fulfilled in the mode for editing a single object. The use of series of objects on the map allows changing the appearance of an object through the dialog without resorting to tools from the tasks.
Examples of created series of objects can be viewed on the maps of Noginsk and Podolsk, which are included in the GIS "Panorama" installation as part of sample data.
You can find the training materials in the "Video Lessons" section.
Geoportal has been supplemented with a map of the Republic of Lebanon, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
