Specialists from KB "Panorama" have created a video lesson on the task
The video lesson demonstrates an example of forming a flood zone in a river section during the breach of a hydraulic structure. A prepared map with pre-marked and processed objects such as "Fairway", "Control Point", and "Dam, dike" was used as the source material for constructing the flood zone. The objects were formed using the classifier monitoring.rscz, which is included in the GIS "Panorama" installation. Additionally, a map with marked hydrographic objects was utilized, with metrics calculated for heights at each node point according to the conditions for preparing hydrographic objects, along with a prepared matrix of absolute heights for the area.
The result of this operation is the formation of a flood zone in the form of a depth matrix, a vector map with the formed flood zone, and a graph showing the movement of the break wave. The results of the analysis are used to prepare various reports and analytical notes, including assessments of the consequences of emergencies.
Training materials can be found in the "Video Lessons" section.

The GIS "Panorama" is a universal geographic information system that provides tools for creating and editing digital maps and city plans, processing remote sensing data, performing various measurements and calculations, conducting overlay operations, building 3D models, processing raster data, preparing graphic documents in both digital and printed formats, as well as tools for working with databases. The GIS is used for cartography, land management and cadastre, geodetic surveys, and creating geoportals. It is included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computing Machines and Databases (registry entry No. 4227 dated March 29, 2018).
GIS Operator SE is a domestic geographic information system for law enforcement agencies. The program is designed for accumulating, storing, automated processing, and displaying data, results of calculations, and forecasts with geospatial references. GIS Operator SE includes tools for displaying and processing vector, raster, and matrix maps. The application provides users with tools to solve specialized tasks such as modeling the movement of special objects against a 3D model background, forecasting the consequences of emergencies at hazardous facilities, monitoring aircraft movement, conducting geodetic and topographic work, processing data from GPS/GLONASS navigation devices, printing displayed spatial data on various output devices, and many others. GIS Operator SE is certified at level 2 for the absence of undeclared capabilities by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and is listed in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computing Machines and Databases (registry entry No. 10628 dated May 27, 2021).
GIS Panorama Mini is a universal geographic information system designed for collecting spatial data, maintaining a spatial data database, creating and updating digital maps and plans, and developing information systems for various purposes. It is included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computing Machines and Databases (registry entry No. 7226 dated November 3, 2020).
GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE is a set of geographic information components for use in the visual programming environment Qt Designer, allowing users to develop their own GIS applications. The visualization of digital map content is performed using symbols accepted for topographic, overview-geographic, and various special maps. The geographic information system has extensive capabilities for performing calculations and ensuring the display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and custom symbol systems. Core functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. Automatic optimization of used RAM is supported for processing large volumes of data on limited resources. The GIS is included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computing Machines and Databases (registry entry No. 1934 dated September 23, 2016).

Data security is ensured through access rights segregation based on security features included in the operating system. Standard authentication, digest authentication, system authentication (via the web server), and domain authentication (Kerberos or Active Directory) are supported. Additional security is provided through the use of end-to-end authentication when working with the database. Connections to the database occur with the rights of the user interacting with the system. The suite is adapted to work on a wide range of operating systems (Astra Linux SE, ALT Linux, Elbrus, Ubuntu, CentOS, MS Windows, and others) and architectures (Intel, Elbrus, Baikal). The program is registered in the domestic software registry under number 1862.
The Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data serves as the foundation for building spatial data infrastructure at federal, regional, and municipal levels within corporate information systems. Within a unified geoinformation space, the Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data implements the collection, storage, quality control, search, and provision of spatial data in exchange formats. Spatial data selected using the program can be made available for multi-user access on the GIS Server and published according to international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on the
The current state of spatial data is displayed using schematic maps, which are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, height matrices, and terrain models. Remote storage of spatial data sets in a file repository is ensured, along with version control of stored sets, updates to data availability schematic maps, automated collection and generation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-coverages. The automated collection and generation of metadata are performed according to the standards ISO 19115:2003, Geographic information — Metadata, and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information — Metadata — XML schema implementation. Reduced copies of data images are automatically created, checksums of files are verified, and the completeness of data sets is checked. The placement of spatial data in the file repository is carried out with integrity checks, as well as control over the structure and content of the data. The results of the operations are logged and entered into the metadata database. Automatic backup of metadata and the spatial data repository is provided with integrity checks and data recovery capabilities. A multilingual interface is supported.
