In KB "Panorama", version 15.8.0 has been developed. The program includes intelligent algorithms for automatic placement of labels associated with object attributes. The new features minimize label intersections and overlays, ensuring map readability even with numerous objects present. Users can set various settings for label appearance, including fonts, colors, sizes, and text styles, allowing for visually appealing and well-structured maps. The service considers potential conflicts between labels and automatically repositions them to avoid overlaps with other map objects, crucial for creating information-dense maps. All settings are configured in and then imported into the service for implementation of changes. The new service capabilities are utilized in GIS WebServer SE for displaying layers with geospatial data, providing convenient tools for terrain analysis.
The program now includes data export to MIF/MID format. Users can export data to MapInfo Interchange Format (MIF/MID), expanding compatibility with various mapping systems. Support for searching multiple user objects in a single query has been implemented. This innovation significantly speeds up and simplifies the process of searching for information on the map. Layer transparency settings have been added to blend and display multiple layers simultaneously. This function allows adjusting the transparency level of layers, providing a more visual representation of data. Displaying the last transaction number on the map when searching for objects has been implemented. This enhancement enables showing the last transaction number, useful for tracking changes and managing data.
The new version can create layers from data in text files in CSV, TXT, XYH formats, expanding data input options and simplifying integration into the system. A limitation on the maximum size of the file issued in the GetFeature request has been introduced, allowing for system load management and improving performance. A request for issuing and building a vector tile when working with vector data has been added. GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WPS) for transmitting and displaying spatial data. The program features the ability to issue tiles in any user or local coordinate system. The application is developed for Windows and Linux platforms, compatible with Apache, IIS, and nginx web servers.
The new version of the program and documentation are available on the website in the section.
From July 24 to 25, 2024, a business forum will take place in Moscow to commemorate Cadastral Engineer Day. The event is organized by the Association "National Union of Self-Regulatory Organizations of Cadastral Engineers". Specialists from KB "Panorama" will present a report on the topic "Technologies for building geoportals for various purposes" and conduct a master class on the topic "Digitization of management based on GIS technologies "Panorama".
The forum is a significant platform for exchanging experiences and discussing current issues in the development of cadastral activities in new realities. KB "Panorama" is a partner of the forum, actively supporting its goals and objectives. We invite all interested parties to visit our booth and participate in discussions and the master class. Detailed information about the upcoming event is available on the .
Geoportal has been supplemented with a map of the Republic of Congo, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of . Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page .
KB "Panorama" has completed organizational and technical measures for licensing activities in the field of technical information security. Following a special examination conducted by an authorized certification center, a license from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of Russia was obtained for carrying out activities related to the creation of information security tools, Series SS No. 0281, number 014137, registration number 3767 dated June 26, 2024.
KB "Panorama" has developed version 3.2. In the new version, the construction of a hierarchical tree of field passports data and switching between elements in the list of arable land plots have been improved. The performance of displaying information has been enhanced when dealing with a large number of field passport records in the agricultural database. The functionality for working with cartographic projects of producers has been expanded in GIS WebServer AGRO, and their automation has been implemented in the administration module.
The management of field treatment accounting using plant protection products (PPP) has been optimized by utilizing information from a unified directory of pesticides and agrochemicals. A periodic check for connection to the remote data publication server has been added in case the remote server was unresponsive when opening a layer. This allows for connection restoration and retransmission of necessary requests. The data display speed during geospatial portal publication has been increased. Improved support for reading large maps (tens of gigabytes and above) on slow hard drives during simultaneous multi-user editing of these maps has been implemented.
GIS WebServer AGRO utilizes as a spatial data source. Synchronization of cartographic information described in the agricultural database and information published on GIS WebService SE is automatic. For collaborative data work, digital maps of agricultural lands and enterprise infrastructure are hosted on the . Its application enables synchronization between desktop "Panorama AGRO", web applications, and mobile clients. Desktop applications such as , "Workstation of agronomist", and others can connect to the GIS Server. This allows mobile clients working through the web to process the same data jointly with desktop clients.
