The version 1.6 for Android OS has been developed at KB "Panorama". The new version includes the ability to import files in SXF format. The import process is similar to the desktop version of the . The classifier can be selected from the set provided with the mobile application installation or can be provided by the user. The import is done into the internal storage for further use within the application. The data loading process runs independently of the main application process, allowing the user to continue working with the application while the import is being executed.
The required set of map data for a specific area of interest can be prepared in one of the desktop products (GIS "Panorama", , ) using a wide range of applied tasks and then transferred to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile".
GIS "Panorama Mobile" allows opening major digital map formats of the GIS "Panorama" on Android-based mobile devices and processing information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. The user can prepare the necessary set of spatial data in advance, pack them into a ZIP archive using standard tools, and transfer them to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile". The data processing is performed autonomously without an Internet connection. When the user moves, their current position is dynamically displayed based on coordinates obtained from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. To enhance usability, there is an option to synchronize the map position with the current location. A track recording mode is available to save the obtained coordinates during movement, creating a separate map with the recorded trajectory. Essential information is provided for all map objects during the working process.
The new version of the program is available for download in the section.
Specialists at KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on creating non-standard types of objects using custom libraries in the classifier editor in GIS "Panorama", "Workstation of cadastral engineer", "Workstation of agronomist", and other software products. For maps with complex types of symbols, the ability to connect special libraries in the classifier editor has been added. Such libraries must have the extension IML. To connect custom libraries, the tab in the classifier editor is used.
The video tutorial demonstrates the configuration of parameters and the display of the programmable symbol of the library shape.iml, which is included in GIS "Panorama", specifically the "Symbol with a leader line and text". The symbolic sign is formed using a combination of primitives and assigning semantic characteristics to generate text. Additionally, the method of creating an object displaying the X and Y coordinate values from the metric of the first point of the object is shown. When moving such a type of symbolic sign on the map, the label of the point's coordinates changes according to the metric coordinates.
Examples of creating non-standard types of objects can be found in the installation package of GIS "Panorama". Educational materials can be accessed in the "Video Lessons" section.
Geoportal has been supplemented with a map of the Republic of Malawi, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of . Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page .
In the KB "Panorama", the line of GIS software "Panorama" has been updated to version 15.2.3. In the new versions of the software, the P, the , and the have enhanced the task of "Export territorial planned data in GML". The new option "Control by schema" allows for an additional check of attribute values, their completeness, and the sequence of filling in the created GML files in accordance with the XSD schema specified in the order of the Ministry of Economic Development No. 174 dated 26.03.2024, "On organizing work on placing territorial planning schemes on the official website of the federal state information system of territorial planning on the Internet". GML files are generated by the program based on information presented on maps using the digital classifier terrplan.v7.rscz. The validation results are output in a text protocol in a dialog window.
The additional validation allows checking GML files before uploading them to the FGIS TP, reducing the time spent on searching for and correcting attribute filling errors. The digital classifier for creating territorial planning schemes terrplan.v7 is prepared in accordance with changes specified in the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated 06.10.2023, No. 698, and complies with the schema fgistp-10-izm-698.xsd.
The updated versions of the software are available for download in the section.
Experts at KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on working with the task in the , , "Workstation of agronomist", and other software products. The discussed task is essential for creating toolbars and populating them with commonly used modes from various applied tasks. The video tutorial demonstrates the setup of a custom panel.
In the "Toolbars customizer" dialog, there is a field called "Tasks and Scripts" listing libraries containing panels with buttons and supporting the . The "Python scripts" line provides access to choosing a script from a list, which must be previously configured and verified in the "Run applications" dialog (under the tab). When new are integrated into the GIS, the list can be edited using the "Add" and "Deleting" buttons.
At the bottom of the dialog, there are fields labeled "Available Toolbars " and "Available Buttons", which contain lists of panels for the current task and buttons within these panels. The "Custom Toolbars" field lists user-created tool panels and their content. New custom panels can be created sequentially without closing the main dialog.
Educational materials can be found in the "Video Lessons" section for further reference.
