In the task of connecting geoportals the speed of loading and displaying tiles has been increased. The GIS core automatically evaluates the computer parameters: the number of cores, the size of the RAM, the bandwidth of the data transmission channel. Taking into account the performance of the system, a pool of independent threads is formed to load, process and display the received data. Multi-threaded data loading reduces delays when moving the screen, scaling the map, and performing spatial queries to the geoportal. For example, for a network with a bandwidth of 100 Mbps on a 4-core processor with a clock frequency of 3.5 GHz, the speed of displaying tiles from the KB Panorama geoportal increased 6 times, and the time to receive them decreased from 500ms to 70ms. In order to increase the speed of data access for the WMS protocol, caching of data in the form of tiles has been added. The data is saved in the form of a pyramid of tiles 1024х1024 in a folder of location of the geoportal cache. This change will allow the user to accumulate data locally and, in the absence of the Internet, use the already accumulated data cache. In order to update previously saved data, it is possible to set the lifetime of the geoportal cache in seconds.
Access to geoportal archive data has been added. Examples of such geoportals are the Sentinel Hub geoportal or the VEGA services. The task allows you to connect to images or data on the geoportal by specifying the date, the request period, or the percentage of maximum cloudiness of satellite images. To quickly change the image from the geoportal, a new dialog has been added that allows you to set the parameters for accessing archived data (date, period, cloudiness); to set an offset or reference to a point if the geoportal has a lower accuracy than the map or data with which the geoportal is combined; to set transparency color - to view several layers at the same time; to set the color of the filter to change the color scheme of the geoportal. In the new version the possibility of connection of dynamically expanded list of available geoportals has been added. When such a geoportal is selected, a GetCapabilities request is sent to the service, and based on it, the list is automatically expanded with relevant data in the form of a tree of available layers. Support for a proxy server with domain authorization has been added.
Ability has been added to connect digital terrain models via the WCS protocol. Connection to WCS-service is carried out on the basis of OGC 09-110r4 Web Coverage Service standards. At the same time, data from any number of WCS services can be opened together with data from geoportals, data from GIS Servers, and locally open data. To increase the speed of working with the WCS service, data caching is supported on the client. The information received from the service allows you to create 3D terrain models onto territories of any size up to a surface of all Globe.
The task "Highlight any area" has been improved. Changing the conditions for selecting objects selected by area has been simplified. The selection of objects by area is performed using the "Select inside the object" and "Select by any area" modes (polygon, rectangular fragment, lasso). At the end of drawing the area on the map, objects located inside the selected area are highlighted. To change the selection conditions, press the right mouse button and select one of the modes in the context menu: Highlight inside (delete intersection), Highlight with intersection (and inside), Highlight outside (delete intersection). If clusters are displayed on the map (generalized signs of closely spaced objects specified in the classifier), then the corresponding signs of clusters are displayed and marked, taking into account the number of signs and their location on the map.

In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 15.0.0 for OS "Astra Linux Special Edition" (Release "Smolensk") has been developed. In the new version the new possibilities have been added for selection of objects by various conditions of search, editing of terrain maps and execution of calculations. Speed of loading and display of the data from geoportals has been increased, obtaining of digital terrain models using the WCS protocol and archived data has been realised, the list of supported geoportals has been expanded. Tools for processing and displaying data, mechanisms for opening and exchanging spatial data with the
In the program the possibilities of creation and editing of objects in the "Map Editor" task have been expanded. In the mode "Create an object copy" at enabling the submode of snapping an object to a node of another object, the snap of the created copy of an object or a group of selected objects is provided for each mouse click. In the mode "Change of type of object" for recoding areal objects into vector objects, the ability to build a new metric using a larger segment of the original object has been added. This mode can be used for generalization of areal structures that are not expressed in the scale of the map. In the "Create an object copy" mode, the ability to put a copy of an object or a group of selected objects to each mouse click has been added. This method allows you to increase the speed of drawing the one-type objects. In the mode for editing points of objects a functionality of reduction of an areal object to a rectangular form has been added. The edited object can be quickly saved by means of "hot" keys.
In the "Object samples" mode, the maximum number of objects samples (buttons) in the layout line has been increased to 32 and the maximum number of lines - to 12. The creation of a sample for a set of selected map objects has been improved. Samples of created objects is a panel with buttons containing images of objects of the selected type or a group of objects with prepared semantics or graphic symbols outside the classifier. The use of pre-prepared samples speeds up the process of creating and updating vector terrain maps for various purposes.
In the program a possibility has been added to quickly estimate distances between map objects by means of the mode "Radial scale", included into group of modes "Length and distance" of the "Map Computer" task. When the mode is activated, on the background of the map, a scale of three rings is displayed, indicating the distance from the center of the screen on the ground. The distance between the rings is selected depending on the map display scale. The central ring is divided into 10-degree sectors, the cardinal direction are signed on it and the direction to the north is indicated. The "Building a polygon by a given azimuth and distance" mode has been added into the "Measurements" group of the "Map Editor" task. The mode allows you quickly to put onto a map a polygon - a zone of the estimated search in the direction and distance indicated by the cursor from the control point with the possibility of changing the width and length of the search sector.

The "Loading coordinates from a text file" dialog has been improved, intended for creating map objects with a metric formed from values of coordinates from a TXT text file. Depending on the nature of the localization of the selected type of object, a linear or areal object can be created, the metric of which consists of all the points listed in the file, or a set of point objects, the number of which corresponds to the number of lines with coordinates in the text file. A file with coordinates can be created in any text editor and consists from lines separated by a delimiter character.
Algorithms for processing and displaying data have been improved. The number of supported sheets for multi-sheet maps has been increased by 4 times. The accuracy of transparency calculations for vector objects and a polygon object - colored glass - has been increased. The algorithms for interaction with the GIS Server have been improved, for example, the interaction mechanism when editing maps containing a small number of objects.

The ability to save geoportal data into a pyramid of MBTiles tiles onto a user-selected area for further offline use on mobile devices in the absence of the Internet has been implemented. In order to increase the speed of data access for the WMS protocol, data caching in the form of tiles has been added. In the developed mobile applications, a cache of data from geoportals will be automatically saved on the device and used in the absence of the Internet. In order to update previously saved data, you can set the geoportal cache lifetime in seconds.
In the new version the possibility has been implemented for addition of a geoportal from the list to any open data. This will allow the user to combine a larger number of different data for a more detailed analysis of the area. In order to simplify navigation onto saved points of the "Navigator" task the ability of displaying a straight line to a point has been added. Also this mode displays distance to the chosen point from the center of the screen. The new version adds the ability to customize the behavior of the "Zoom" gesture: always change the scale to the center of the screen or change the scale to the center of the zoom gesture.
The functioning of the developed mobile application in conditions of limited amount of available RAM has been improved. The need for the program to work in conditions of a small amount of system resources becomes relevant when using the embedded devices, portable laptops, specialized tablets and other similar devices. If there is a lack of memory, the GIS core automatically activates a buffer with a limited amount of memory and performs all operations with data using only this buffer. As a result, memory consumption by the GIS application is drastically reduced. The new version of the application adds the ability to explicitly set a limit on the amount of memory used by the application for opening the data, when it is reached, this mode will be activated forcibly.
