The full technological scheme of importing the data fromOSM format is carried out in stages. All modes of the technological scheme are independent. You can select all, one or several modes for processing. The only strict limitation is obligatory execution of "Import" when you select an OSM file as the source map. In other cases it is possible to execute any set of processes (except "Import"). For example, decoding and correction or formation of labels and their generalisation. However, the OSM format does not provide for the storage of label objects, and labels are not generated during the conversion of data.

The training program for the course "Geoportals", developed for students of the
The Faculty of "Geoinformatics and Information Security" has combined areas of training (information systems and technologies, applied informatics, information security), which were previously implemented at three different faculties of MIIGAiK. The synergistic effect of this association was achieved by strengthening the interaction of different research groups within the same faculty, as well as by centralizing educational and methodological work in related areas of training.
Highly qualified personnel take part in the preparation and conduct of classes. Students of the course are introduced to modern technologies used in the construction of distributed geoinformation systems and geoportals, including specific software and its practical application. The material is presented in the form of presentations, the lectures themselves are recorded on video and published in the KB "Panorama" knowledge base. In KB "Panorama" the GIS ToolKit Active version 14.0.1 has been developed for creation of geoinformation systems with the free licence in any environment of programming that supports ActiveX technology, for example, Visual Studio. In the new version the component of management by a map - axMapManager has been added. This component increases the efficiency of developing GIS applications by implementing such actions with the map image as discrete scaling using the keyboard, smooth scaling by rotating the mouse wheel, moving the map image by pressing the mouse and keyboard, displaying the entire map in the window. When moving the cursor over the map, the management component makes it possible to get the current values of the map display scale, map name, coordinates.
For the selected map object, the component allows you to view and edit the semantic description in a separate dialog, display a georeferenced photo, and view documents linked to the object. To study the operation of the axMapManager component, an example has been developed: \GisToolActive14\Example\MS2012\C#\MapManager.
In the program the component axMapDataConversion has been improved, providing export/import of spatial data presented in formats SXF, TXF, DIR, TXT, MAP, SIT, SITX, S57, KML/KMZ, MIF/MID. Into the component of converting the spatial data the function of loading photos in JPEG format, containing GPS-coordinates of a shooting's place in EXIF-TAGS was added. In the new version the speed of execution of search and analytical operations over the geodata at the expense of using the functions of updated GIS-kernel has been increased.
GIS ToolKit Active contains a set of visual and non-visual components that allow using spatial and attributive data to display and perform special calculations. Using these components, geographic information systems of various levels (federal, regional, municipal, corporate) are created. The toolkit supports the local, national and international coordinate systems (parameters of more than 4 000 different coordinate systems are included into the delivery set). An extensive Bank of geospatial data is available to use the toolkit.

The modes of creating a linear and areal object have been improved using the new parameter "Snap at shortest distance", which is activated when the corresponding item of the context menu is selected or by pressing the "hot" key "W".

If the folder contains documents that do not need to be edited, then it can be compressed into a ZIP file, and the object can be assigned the semantics of the "Link to a file" type. Actions with documents will be the same as when linking to a folder. When packing maps into MAPZ, SITZ, MPTZ formats, documents referenced from the semantics of type the "Link to the file folder" will also be packed into one data set, unlike semantics the "Link to a file". In the "Metric" bookmark, a fast copying into a clipboard of all coordinates of the metrics using the Ctrl+A key combination has been implemented for the further use of the copied data, for example, for their placing in the mode of creation of object by coordinates entered from the keyboard.
Into dialog of
The mode "Recalculation of coordinates in text files", which is called from the "Map Computer" task, has been improved. There is added the ability to directly recalculate geodetic coordinates between ellipsoids according to the specified transition parameters (inverse Helmert transform, or Coordinate Frame Rotation; EPSG dataset coordinate operation method code 1032). Transition parameters can be read and saved in xml files.
