  • 28.12.2018 In the journal "Geoprofi" 6 the article was published about use of remote sensing data from open sources in systems of exact farming
    In the journal "Geoprofi" (6, 2018) article "Analysis and preparation of remote sensing data from open sources for systems of exact farming" is published. The article considers the possibility of using open sources of the Earth's remote sensing data for satellite monitoring of agricultural land and supporting systems of exact farming. The article lists the sources of current data with open access and suitable for use in exact farming systems, describes the features of internal files formats and ways of converting the information into an agricultural GIS. For each source, the levels of processing the provided data and methods necessary for reduction of data to a single high level are considered in detail.

    The presented technologies of satellite monitoring are implemented in software products of KB "Panorama": GIS WebServer AGRO, "Panorama AGRO", "Workstation of agronomist". Integration of software solutions of KB "Panorama" with external services ("Public Cadastral Map", "Atlas of Agricultural Lands", "VEGA" and others) provides the possibility of obtaining geolocated remote sensing data including in the form of thematic information. Using the services of the company Geosys allows you to get geolocated values of vegetation indices, to build zoning maps and the differentiated application of fertilizers.

    The corresponding modes allow you to download the matrix of qualities with the values of the indices NDVI, CVI, EVI, GNDVI and average daily values along the contour of the field over the last 10 years. Zoning maps, built on the historical values of NDVI, make it possible to identify problem areas in the working areas and with high accuracy to predict crop yields, and also to make the decision on necessity for fertilizer application.

  • 25.12.2018 In GIS WebService SE the possibilities for work with large amount of spatial data are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 12.1.7 is developed. The new version of the service has added options for loading all published data into RAM if it is sufficient on the server. In this case, the program allows you to simultaneously perform a large number of requests and distribute the load between the system cores. Previously loaded data that is no longer in use is unloaded from the service and deallocates space in RAM.

    The program improves the reliability of the resources deallocating when working with large amounts of spatial data. When critical errors occur or when the service is restarted, the vector, raster and matrix data will close correctly in any situation. It allows to avoid data loss or data corruption.

    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), with the help of which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The program has the ability to issue tiles by any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web servers.

  • 24.12.2018 A kit of geographic maps of scale 1: 1 000 000 is supplemented by map of the Republic of Madagascar
    KB "Panorama" prepared a digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF onto the territory of the Republic of Madagascar. VMap0 data obtained according to information from the website www.gis-lab.info has served as source for map's preparation.

    The map contains information about the quantity of inhabitants for cities and the names of settlements in Russian. As additional materials the World map of scale 1: 5 000 000 and data of OpenStreetMap were used. The map is led to the classifier of geographical maps of scale 1: 1 000 000 (1mogk13g.rsc). It can be used for the general estimation of the terrain and studying of an environment, an ensuring of educational process, as a basis for creation of geographical maps of smaller scale, thematic and special maps and solving other tasks.

    The map is distributed free according to the free licence. Digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF is available for downloading on page the "Digital maps and images".

  • 20.12.2018 Panorama-Editor implements an advanced technology for creating and automated generalisation of topographic maps
    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectorizer "Panorama-Editor" version 12.6.3 for x64 platform is developed. In the new version into the task "Automated generalization of topographical maps" the new modes "Setting the boundaries of rivers visibility" and "Quarters generalisation" are added.

    The mode "Setting the boundaries of rivers visibility" is intended for simplification of a hydrographic network in the map scales 50 000 and 100 000. The goal of simplifying the hydrographic network is to assign specific ranges of visibility to specific objects of the hydrographic network, corresponding to their importance. Degree of the rivers importance is defined by the length and character of its location relative to other rivers. As a result of the implementation of the "Quarters generalisation" mode the automatic uniting of closely located same-type quarters and adjustment of quarters with linear objects of the road network is performed. When adjusting the quarters, the quarters are cut by streets and passages, taking into account the width of linear objects. The software "Automated generalization of topographical maps" is used to convert a map of the source scale into a map of a smaller scale (derived scale).

    The new task "Creation of passages in settlement" has been developed. The task is intended to create on the map additional linear objects that are passages in settlements. Passages are created between the adjacent quarters and the sides of the streets. The task performs the adjusting of created passages with each other, and also with road network objects available on a map. Construction of passages allows you to automate the creation of navigation maps, as well as to prepare maps for the implementation of generalization of the road network and settlements in the mapping of smaller scales.

    Into the "View Passport" task there is added a new type of maps "Topographic PZ-90.11" (Pulkovo2017), based on application of the PZ-90.11 ellipsoid and the Gauss-Krueger projection. As a system of heights, the World Ocean Level (Geoid) is set that is corresponding to the EGM2008 model.

    The task of Creation of rule adds support for a new type of map. To speed up work with large regions (MAP maps containing more than 1000 sheets), when you import sheet lists into DIR, folders for every 1000 sheets are automatically created starting with the second one. The folders are named sheets_1000 (for sheets from 1000 to 1999), sheets_2000 (for sheets from 2000 to 2999), etc. The first thousand sheets are written in a folder together with the passport of the region map. For every 1000 sheets, 4-5 thousand files are created. Earlier versions of programs open such regions in the usual way, if they are from the same OS (MS Windows or Linux) with the program that created the large region.


    The task "Map Editor" is improved, the mode "Building the azimuth circle" is added. The azimuth circle is a set of closed circles of a preset radius and the straight lines divergent in all directions in accordance with specified indicators of angles. Values of radiuses and angles of the azimuth circle are drawn onto the map in the form of explanatory labels. The parameters of lines and labels can be set by the user when building the azimuth circle.

    In the "Map Editor" task, into the "Autofigures" group, a new object creation mode was added - "Create expanding zone". Expanding zone is an area around a part of a linear object whose radius is evenly increased from zero to the value specified in the Map Editor parameters. Expanding zone can be used to display on the transport maps the ways of servicing the trains on the sections of circulation of locomotives and locomotive brigades.

Support for geoportals with an arbitrary tile size is added. The settings are put into the user file crsregister.xml, which contains the description of user matrixes, their projections, scale factors and tile sizes. Speed of displaying geoportals is increased. Possibility of imposing the color filter on the image of a geoportal is added. It allows you to change color of lines, areas, titles onto the color of filter. For example, to change the color of quarters from red to blue on the Rosreestr geoportal. The ability to set the offset for different geoportals is added. This option is necessary to set an exact match between the source data and the geoportal, which artificially introduces an offset.

    There is implemented a display of rasters and matrixes with recalculation of coordinate systems (transformation) and/or turning on the fly. This allows you to display images and matrixes of elevations together with geoportals and vector maps with different coordinate systems and rotate these images at an arbitrary angle (for example, in a navigation task). The display speed of rasters and matrixes with transformation and rotation roughly corresponds to the usual display of rasters due to the use of multi-thread processing for multi-core processors and new data caching algorithms (display processes are accelerated 10 or more times).

    The new mode of creating a multipolygon by selected polygon objects is added.
    Tools of combining objects into sets (logical groups) on the map are improved. Sets of objects are formed by addition to objects of attributes with number of objects set and type (the objects equal in rights, the main/subordinated object).

  • 18.12.2018 Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides automatic backup and control of the integrity of spatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data version 3.8.7 is developed. In the new version automatic creating a backup of metadata database is added when placing new spatial data into data warehouse. The backup is created taking into account the backup's interval settings. Possibility of creating a backup copy in a manual mode is supported.

    For each data type, two backup storage locations can be defined at once. When performing the data integrity control procedure, the data stored in the data warehouse is compared with their backup copies. If there are differences in the files, they are restored. A section has been added to the documentation describing how to set up backups in automatic and manual modes.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator"). The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides construction of cloud warehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file warehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers.

    Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

In the new version of the program a support of SQLite database for pyramids of tiles in Mbtiles format is added. You can open the data from the main menu the File - Open. Mbtiles format is convenient for storing tile data, since it consists of a single file. Satellite images in TIFF format can contain dozens of gigabytes of information, so they are slowly displayed.     Support of new data formats MAPZ and SITZ is added. Multi-sheet map and user map can be packed into one file with data compression. Packed multi-sheet map has a MAPZ extension, a packaged user map - SITZ. To increase the degree of compression, the accuracy of the object metric is automatically converted to centimeters. The volume of the packed data decreases approximately in 3 times in comparison with volume of initial data with the maximum accuracy of a metric. Unpacking of data is carried out automatically in memory in process of reading the corresponding sheets and objects from the packed formats. If the map sheet is located in memory entirely it is unpacked in a multithreaded mode at opening of sheet's data for access acceleration. The packed maps are accessible read-only. Conversion to SITZ and MAPZ format is performed in the "Map Sorting" task. Formats SITX, SITZ, MAPZ can be converted back to the original SIT or MAP formats by sorting. Packed maps with the reverse converting retain the accuracy of the metric in centimeters.

This allows you to display images and matrixes of elevations together with geoportals and vector maps with different coordinate systems and rotate these images at an arbitrary angle (for example, in a navigation task).     New features are added when processing rasters opened directly without conversion to RSW (when opening, the mode "Don't copy the source image to the RSW-file" is selected). There are added a joint discovery and display of Landsat, Kompsat and GeoEye images delivered as a set of single-channel TIF rasters. Single channel TIF rasters are interpreted as different channels of the same image. To speed up the display of raster data, there is added a choice of an arbitrary scheme of created general images: 1: 4, 1:16, 1:64, and others. If the source image contains general images, then they are used directly when creating the derived general images and displaying them. Now you can create compressed general images. The restriction on the maximum size of general images of 4 GB has been removed, which allows processing images of any size. The GDAL library has been updated to version 2.2.0, in which new formats of processed rasters have been added.

    The task "GPS\GLONASS Monitor" has been improved. A function is added for determining the location by the data from the navigation receiver without configuring a virtual COM or USB port.The new mechanism of exchanging the navigation data is implemented using the Sensor and Location platform technology and it can operate under the control of the MS Windows 7 operating system and later.

    GIS help system updated. Always up-to-date version of the program's help system is located on the server. Help sections are organized in the form of HTML files that are displayed in a regular browser. The opening of help topics from the server has been added in the GIS. In case there is no access to the Internet, it is still possible to use the help system located in the local folder of the computer when installing the program. For a choice of used help system into section "Help" of the main menu of the program the item "Local help" is added. For more information on the program into the Help menu, the items of the Documentation, the Forum and Video lessons are added. The Documentation menu item allows you to view any document from the operational documentation, which speeds up the search for the necessary reference information. Forum item performs a quick transition in the browser to the web forum, designed for communication and information exchange between users and developers of the program. The menu item "Video lessons" is designed for fast transition in the browser to a page of educational films. For the purposes of distance learning, the site contains a number of educational films aimed at mastering the basic technologies and functions of GIS.
    For quick opening of examples of maps, rasters and matrixes from the composition of the installation, the "Data examples" item was added to the File menu.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 12.1.6 is developed. In the new version the operations of uniting and checking the occurrence of spatial objects for the various data are improved. The new request is added: checking the crossing of objects of different vector layers. This request allows you to know a relative position of the objects list (are crossed, are not crossed, object is inside or outside). For the selection of objects, it is possible to specify filters by semantics, metric, metadata, layer, code, type, key.

    Possibilities of request of outputting the transactions logs received on a vector map are improved. It expands the list of displayed information about the user and the version of the program that performs data editing. The request is added for obtaining the name of the layer scheme. Use of this request in GIS WebServer SE allows you to reduce the number of requests submitted for building a legend.

    The new version improves the reliability of the service at loading due to the analysis of the internal state of the service. Support of PHP of version 7 and higher is added.

In the new version in the "Select Object" dialog, there is improved a mode of editing the semantics the value of which is the file of ZIP format containing a set of packed files. At the reference to the corresponding semantics into a separate window the list of files contained in the ZIP archive is displayed. Double-click the selected file from the list to open it in the corresponding program. The mode of saving documents (files referenced in the semantics of the object) in the storage on the GIS Server has been improved. If a document with the same name (for example, it was added to the semantics of another object) has already been recorded in the storage on the GIS Server, then it is proposed to update the document or save the document with other name. When you enter a new file name, it is renamed and re-saved to the GIS Server.

    In the Map Editor, the tools of combining objects into sets (logical groups) on the map are improved. Sets of objects are formed by addition to objects of attributes with number of objects set and type (the objects equal in rights, the main/subordinated object). The new version allows you to combine into a single project the data with different projections and coordinate systems consisting of maps, matrixes, rasters, geoportals and the attributive information from a database. The program provides access to numerous existing information resources and converts information into a user-friendly form (performs decoding, transformation and converting of the projection). Displaying rasters and matrixes with the recalculation of coordinate systems (transformation) and/or turning on the fly is implemented. This allows you to display images and elevations matrixes together with geoportals and vector maps with different coordinate systems and rotate these images at an arbitrary angle (for example, in a navigation task). The display speed of rasters and matrixes with transformation and turn roughly corresponds to the usual display of rasters due to the use of multi-thread processing for multi-core processors and new data caching algorithms (display processes are accelerated 10 or more times).

    The new task β€œCreation of passages in settlement” has been developed. The task is intended to create on the map additional linear objects that are passages in settlements.     In the task of "Formation of out border decoration" the new elements of decoration are added: RSCTEXT2, RSCBAR2, RSCBOX2 and RSCLINE2. These elements extend the abilities of standard elements. At creation of lines and rectangles the possibility to specify two points of a binding to a map frame is added. At drawing a text a management of horizontal and vertical alignment is added.

    KB "Panorama" has developed the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 12.5 for the operating systems Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. The new version offers a convenient environment for creating and debugging GIS-applications. The cross-platform of MAPAPI interface allows the programmer to develop and test GIS-applications in the Ubuntu operating system using the GIS Constructor. After that, the source code of existing applications can be recompiled for the target operating system for a wide range of devices: desktop and mobile. This will require a minimum of effort due to the preservation of interfaces of graphical components of the GIS Constructor and the interface for accessing the digital data MAPAPI.

    Ubuntu is one of the most popular GNU/Linux distribution kits. Ubuntu operating system is focused on usability. It has a well-developed internationalization that ensures maximum accessibility for representatives of different language groups. Ubuntu is free software and is available for free.

    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

    The toolkit is adapted to work on a wide range of platforms and supports operating systems such as Astra Linux SE, MSVS, CRTOS "Neutrino", "Elbrus", "Zarya", Ubuntu, Alt Linux, QNX, CentOS and others. It can be used in computer complexes with processors of architectures ARMv7, Elbrus, PowerPC, Intel x86, Intel x64 and others.

  • 29.11.2018 A kit of digital maps is supplemented by a map of the Administrative-territorial division of Russia
    In KB "Panorama" a digital map of the Administrative-territorial division of Russia in the SXF format has been prepared. OpenStreetMap data served as source for map's preparation.

    The map contains the territories of the federal districts, subjects of the Russian Federation and administrative-territorial units of the upper and lower levels. The total number of objects - 26 873.

    It can be used to analyze and assess the territory of the Russian Federation and its subjects, assess the length of borders and as a basis for creating thematic and special maps. For work with the received map it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

  • 28.11.2018 Geoinformation technologies of KB "Panorama" are presented at the World Congress on Geospatial Information in China
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" took part in the work of the conference and the exhibition at the United Nations World Geospatial Information Congress (UNWGIC), organized jointly with the government of China. The UNWGIC Global Forum was held from 19 to 21 November 2018 in Deqing, Zhejiang Province, under the comprehensive theme β€œThe Geospatial Way to a Better World” and promoted a comprehensive dialogue on global management by the geo-spatial information between authorities, non-governmental organisations, business and the population.

    The exhibition featured a wide range of samples of special equipment and software solutions for collecting, processing and analyzing spatial data from leading companies in the world. At the stand of Russian manufacturers, specialists from China familiarized themselves with products of KB "Panorama" and "Racurs". A large number of user questions were devoted to technologies of automated data processing, monitoring of changes in the terrain and the environment, three-dimensional modeling and management of urban infrastructure.

    At the on-site seminar in Nanjing to Chinese colleagues, specialists from KB Panorama presented the capabilities of the "Geoportal Region" software package in the "Smart City" technology for maintaining a spatial data bank, publishing digital cartographic information, remote sensing data (Earth Remote Sensing), thematic information from databases, documents, navigation information, the organization of remote interaction with automated control systems, systems for monitoring the state of the terrain, transport management , providing urban problems, conducting land cadastre and real estate and others.

    The Chinese organizers of the UNWGIC not only implemented comfortable conditions for transport accessibility, personal accommodation and work of congress participants, but also organized an environment of joint inclusive communication of all stakeholders to improve communication, understanding, knowledge and application of geospatial information management for solving the local, regional and global problems.

  • 27.11.2018 Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data unites various types of spatial data and provides access to them via thin clients
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data version 3.8.6 is developed. In the new version, work with geo-covers is optimized, that allows to combine various types of spatial data (vector, raster, matrix) among themselves and to browse them in a separate window. At browsing there are available the modes of search, printing, change of map contents, viewing the information on objects of a map. Possibility of deleting geo-covers is added.

    In the new version, you can browse the short and complete logs of the operations of placing data into the storage and building geo-coverings. The tools are implemented for managing the metadata panels and schematic display of spatial data on the map. Mechanism of search and filtering the data has been simplified, the ability to select search parameters from predefined values has been added.

    Search of objects on the map became more visual in the program. As the name of the found object, the semantics that matches the desired value is displayed, then the object name and the layer name are displayed. In the documentation the section containing an operations procedure and recommendations for search and elimination of errors is added.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator").

    The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides construction of cloud storehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file storehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers.

    Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

  • 20.11.2018 On the thematic geoportal on the basis of GIS WebServer SE the demonstration projects-examples of 3D-models of terrain are updated and presented
    In KB "Panorama" new projects of three-dimensional models of terrain, implemented with the help of GIS WebServer SE, are updated and developed.

    Into the Noginsk data project the database of three-dimensional tiles in DB3D format with models of Epiphany and Tikhvin cathedrals is added. The models were prepared by specialists of KB "Panorama" in the Collada format. Then they were imported and tied to the terrain in the "Navigator 3D" task in the GIS "Panorama". This project is a good example of a quick transition from a standard three-dimensional model of displaying to a concrete definition of a terrain through the creation of characteristic models.

    The project of Yekaterinburg contains a database of models of buildings in the central part of the city in DB3D format. Photorealistic models in the Collada format are created and provided by the Racurs company. Such modeling reflects the appearance of a particular locality. Creating photorealistic models requires more effort than standard terrain modeling, based on libraries of 3D models of the classifier. But this opens up the possibility of more accurate measurements and simplifies the orientation on the terrain. Collada format is an open format for exchanging models between applications.

    3D model of a part of the city of Tomsk is now presented not only as tiles of the three-dimensional TIN-model obtained from the TLS (Agisoft Tiled Model) format, but also as tiles of a cloud of points from the Agisoft OC3 format. The three-dimensional model in the form of tiles of a dense cloud of points is the fastest-received terrain model: scanned, downloaded, viewed. Data for Tomsk projects are provided by "Geoscan" company and imported into the DB3D format. Three-dimensional terrain models were obtained using unmanned aerial surveying systems Geoscan 101 and Geoscan 401 and photogrammetric software.

    The World map project shows the possibilities of modeling terrain based on small-scale maps and elevation data, obtained by using the OGS WCS service. DB3D format is intended for storing and displaying pyramids of three-dimensional tiles packed together with metadata tables in SQLite format. It provides a fast issuance of spatial information in accordance with the requested scale and territory: tile-by-tile, model-by-model or object-by-object. The format is intended for storing data in 3D-tiles pyramids of various type, for example, GoogleMapsCompatible ((a matrix compatible with Google data in projection EPSG:3857), GoogleCrs84Quad (a matrix compatible with Google data in projection EPSG:4326). The level of extensive data granularity and coverage area is unlimited. Recommended for work the range of scales is from 10-12 to 22 levels of the tile pyramid. Import is supported to the DB3D format from formats of tile models TLS (Agisoft Tiled Mode), Agisoft OC3 point clouds and Collada three-dimensional models. The models, loaded into the DB3D format, can be used for constructing three-dimensional terrain model together with other sources of data: vector maps, space and aerial photographs, geoportals, point clouds, matrixes of heights.

    The company "Geodetect", a partner of KB "Panorama" in Bulgaria, took part in the conference "World GIS Day 2018". The event, held on November 14, 2018 in Sofia, was attended by representatives of leading global companies in the field of geographic information systems.

    Specialist of the company "Geodetect" Yana Angelova presented the presentation "Geoinformation platform "Panorama"- the basis for building information systems for various purposes". The listeners were shown the capabilities of GIS "Panorama" for automating the processes of creating and editing digital maps and city plans, exporting and importing data, connecting spatial databases, control of the quality of cartographic products, publishing and using geoservices, building three-dimensional terrain models, performing measurements and calculations, thematic mapping and various types of spatial data analysis.

  • 15.11.2018 In the GIS Server, the means of supporting a single distributed geoinformation space are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 8.2 is developed. The new version adds support for displaying and editing vector maps hosted on a server that are larger than 4 GB.

    Into parameters of creating backup copies of data sets the period of storage of backup copies in months was added. When updating a dataset and forming a regular copy, it checks and deletes copies created by a specified number of months earlier. If in the current year fewer months have passed than specified in the settings (for example, 5 and 6), then folders will be deleted starting from the year before last and earlier, that is, by year. Support of the software license for program work (without a USB dongle) is added.

    The tools for loading data sets into the Databank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data have been improved. The new version allows you to handle special characters (quotes and others) in the metadata added into the dslist data list. Ability is added for loading into the database of marine navigational charts of S57 standard, packaged in ZIP format. The composition of diagnostic messages when updating vector maps is clarified. The formation of two types of protocols (extended and short) are implemented when loading the data sets. Advanced tools of event logging increase the reliability and fault tolerance of the application, speed up the search for errors and decision-making by the administrator for changing the server's hardware. In the new version the tools of remote administration of working the Server GIS in web are expanded.

    Ability is added for deleting a directory with files inside a virtual folder by the command of a client. The sorting of the vector representation of the spatial database has been implemented to speed up the display operations after multiple updates.

    For supporting a single distributed geographic information space, the GIS Server provides multi-user access to spatial data for application servers (GIS WebService SE) and desktop clients (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator" and others). The server performs the change of the geospatial data bases by the requests generated through the graphic interface of the GIS "Panorama", GIS WebServer SE by means of editing digital maps of the terrain. Multilevel connection of servers among themselves is supported for the distributed storage and processing of spatial data with automatic replication, backup and data protection.

  • 13.11.2018 GIS WebServer SE extends the functionality of geoportals by means of the user modules
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 4.3 is developed. In the new version the ability to connect the user's controls is added. User's controls are modules developed in PHP and JavaScript and used in GIS WebServer SE to expand its capabilities. Connection and development of modules is carried out through API interface the GIS WebServer SE. Like the standard components of the map, the modules are included in the maps projects and are used in the work. The program optimized the display of a cloud of points and line primitives in tile models. The positioning the model of 3D tiles is carried out taking into account height of a point of a tile binding. To speed up the display of the three-dimensional model, caching of auxiliary tiles has been added. In the "Map Editor" a mode for editing the metric part has been developed. Parameters of editing the metric are expanded: there are added a capture of points and capture of lines (a point on a line within capture radius).

    In a map the ability to set its maximum dimensions is realised. The operations of moving the map, searching and selecting objects are performed within the established dimensions of the map. Into local layers of a map the display of titles for point objects is added. The text of the title can be output from the local layer classifier file, the geojson file, or set by default parameters. Loading the classifiers of map layers is optimized. The interface of the map user is updated. In the administration module the registration and setting up rights onto user's controls is added.

    The toolkit of developing the Web-applications the GIS WebToolKit SE has been improved, which expands possibilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service of GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. Various types of high-altitude data are used as a digital elevation model: matrixes (in the formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, point cloud and others. At request the most accurate data onto a specified terrain site with a given resolution is automatically sampled. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data is represented as tiles and cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the toolkit of GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use the JavaScript.

    KB "Panorama" prepared a digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF onto the territory of the state of Iceland. VMap0 data obtained according to information from the website www.gis-lab.info has served as source for map's preparation.

    The map contains information about the quantity of inhabitants for cities and the names of settlements in Russian. As additional materials the World map of scale 1: 5 000 000 and data of OpenStreetMap were used. The map is led to the classifier of geographical maps of scale 1: 1 000 000 (1mogk13g.rsc). It can be used for the general estimation of the terrain and studying of an environment, an ensuring of educational process, as a basis for creation of geographical maps of smaller scale, thematic and special maps and solving other tasks.

  • 06.11.2018 In GIS "Operator" the tools of spatial modeling and analysis are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 12.6.2 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version in the task "Navigator 3D", the list of formats of imported models is expanded for displaying exact and realistic three-dimensional models of infinitely large size in DB3D format. There is added a support for importing three-dimensional models from the Collada format to 3D-tiles of spatial data. COLLADA format is the international standard for an exchange of three-dimensional data. Models in this format can be obtained using such programs, as: PHOTOMOD, Maya, 3ds Max, MeshLab, CityScape, CityEngine, SketchUp, Blender, Poser (v.7.0), Lightwave 3D (version 9.5), Cinema 4D (MAXON), Softimage XSI, Houdini, modo and Strata 3D, Adobe Photoshop from version CS3 and others. The models loaded into the DB3D format can be used to build a three-dimensional model of the terrain together with other data sources: vector maps, space and aerial photographs, geoportals, point clouds, matrixes of elevations.

    The support is added for new data formats MAPZ and SITZ. The multisheet map and the user map can be packed into one file with compression of data by ZIP-Deflate algorithm. Conversion to SITZ and MAPZ format is performed in the task "Map Sorting". To increase the degree of compression, the accuracy of the object metric is automatically converted to centimeters. Unpacking of data is carried out automatically in memory in process of reading the corresponding sheets and objects from the packed formats. The packed maps are accessible read-only. Reducing the amount of data allows you to speed up their transmission over communication channels.

    In the main menu of the program in section "File - Import rasters or matrix from...", the menu item "Matrix GDAL" is added. The item is intended for execution of importing the matrixes of elevations and qualities from files of formats GeoTiff, IMG, DEM. Reading source files at import is performed by means of GDAL library. In the task "Import of GPS-coordinates in format NMEA 0183", there is added the processing of RMC message at import of GPS-coordinates using the NMEA 0183 protocol. The RMC message transmits the recommended minimum of navigation data - device position, velocity, time of positioning.

    The task "Lists of objects" is refined. Into search by lists the option "Crossing and outside" is added. At search or mark of objects with the enabled option "Crossing and outside", the objects will be found that are crossed or are located outside relative to objects of another list. There are expanded the possibilities of finding and marking the map objects by semantics in the "Search and mark" dialog. The list of semantics values and searching conditions can be grouped with specifying of logic conditions within groups and between groups - ALL ARE TRUE (AND) or AT LIST ONE IS TRUE (OR), that allows to create in an interactive mode the complex conditions of search for objects by value of their attributes.

    "Map Editor" task is improved. The new mode of creating a multipolygon by selected polygon objects is added.

    The set of complex views of conventional symbols for displaying lines with variable length of dashes has been expanded. New conventional symbols are applicable, for example, to display linear river beds and other linear objects with varying line width. Samples of symbols of a new view have been added into maps Shape\shape.sitx: File - Example data.

  • 02.11.2018 Imagery Service increases the speed of synchronization of tiles and large spatial data bases
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Service version 8.3 is developed. In the new version, the service provides preparation and synchronization of pyramids of tiles with spatial data bases in near-real-time mode. For example, to update a spatial database containing about 10 million objects in 12 layers, the speed of formation of a fragment of tiles on a screen in Full HD format at a base scale of 1: 10 000 on an average is 50 ms. Acceleration is achieved through the internal architecture of the service. Using the architecture of distributed and parallel computing can significantly simplify the process and technology of user interaction with large amounts of data, reduce the hardware requirements necessary for the functioning of the server.

    In the new version of the program the mode for removing tiles is added. It allows you to delete tiles for certain territories, scales and matrixes, specified in the program settings. Support for PHP version 7 and higher is added.

    Service provides updating of pyramids of tiles in formats PNG, PNG8 and JPEG. It allows you to maintain tiles up-to-date on the data hosted on the GIS Server. Pyramids of tiles are published according to the OGC WMTS protocol by service the GIS WebService SE. GIS that support the OGC WMTS protocol and users of the GIS WebServer SE program can be the clients of the service.

  • 29.10.2018 Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data for Astra Linux SE increases the level of automation of processing metadata when large amounts of data are placed in cloud storage
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data version 3.8.3 was developed for OS Astra Linux SE (Release "Smolensk"). In the new version, the mode of setting values of metadata is added when large amounts of data sets are loaded into the cloud storage. This allows you to set the same values, for example, the date of of survey, security classification, or the comment, for all the data currently being loaded. To support a large number of records (more than 1 million), the table of metadata has been further improved. Existing metadata can be effectively changed by means of new possibility of group editing.

    The list of groups of processed data is supplemented by classifiers. Classifier metadata includes information about the date of classifier creation, manufacturer, size, a link onto the protocol of placing into the storage. The user gets the opportunity to maintain his own catalog of classifiers with automatic versioning.
    The process of transferring existing spatial data sets from one Databank to another has been simplified. To this end, new modes of export and import have been added, allowing to upload data together with metadata. There is added the uploading the list of selected data sets into a file of XLS and DOC format.

    In the program the possibility of control of data integrity is implemented. This mode, in addition to restoring the map-scheme, makes comparison of data sets being in the cloud storage with their backups, if it detects differences in the files, restores them.

There added the tools for monitoring the state of GIS Server in the web for viewing the list of active users and open data, remote viewing of the program operation log. Performance of updating vector data on clients at intensive updating of objects on the server is improved.

As additional materials the World map of scale 1: 5 000 000 and data of OpenStreetMap were used. The map is led to the classifier of geographical maps of scale 1: 1 000 000 (1mogk13g.rsc). It can be used for the general estimation of the terrain and studying of an environment, an ensuring of educational process, as a basis for creation of geographical maps of smaller scale, thematic and special maps and solving other tasks.

  • 12.10.2018 Imagery Creator is integrated into the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data for creation of tiles by geo-coverings
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Creator version 9.5.3 is developed. The new version is integrated into the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. The software package together with Imagery Creator form a cross-platform system for storing and updating spatial data (digital vector maps, materials of aerial and satellite imagery, terrain models) with automated formation and publication of geo-coverings. By pressing just a few buttons, you can automatically prepare and publish in the GIS WebService SE service large amounts of tiles to the entire territory of the globe. Due to the support of several settings files, Imagery Creator allows creating in multi-streaming mode the tiled geo-coverings from the Databank for several users at once.

    In the new version of the program the mode of deleting tiles is added. It allows you to delete tiles for certain territories, scales and matrixes, specified in the program settings.

    The program forms tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8, Mbtiles and GPKG according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. The tile data generated by the Imagery Creator program, is used by software the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.

  • 09.10.2018 GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE supports import of national geodata from Shapefile format
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 12.4.0 is developed. The new version includes service files for automatic processing of national coordinate systems and cartographical classifiers of a number of countries. For execution of import the user can use the test example included in the installation. For this purpose it is necessary to choose setting files and the directory with the data in the Shapefile format. The test example will automatically search for spatial data in the selected directory and create a map in national conventional symbols in the GIS "Panorama" format.

    In the new version of the GIS-applications kernel, the data display is optimized due to an improved mechanism of selecting the objects. Selection of objects on the map by means of visual components is improved. There is improved a convenience of working with standard dialogs that are part of the GIS Constructor.

    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

  • 05.10.2018 GIS "Panorama" x64 automates the exchange of three-dimensional models prepared by using PHOTOMOD
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 12.6.2 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version in the task β€œNavigator 3D” there is expanded the list of formats of imported models for displaying exact and realistic three-dimensional models of infinitely large size in DB3D format. Besides tiled models in format TLS (Agisoft Tiled Model) and points cloud in Agisoft OC3 format, support of importing three-dimensional models from Collada format into 3D-tiles of spatial data is added. Collada format is the international standard for exchanging the three-dimensional data. Models in this format can be obtained using such programs as: PHOTOMOD, Maya, 3ds Max, MeshLab, CityScape, CityEngine, SketchUp, Blender, Poser (v.7.0), Lightwave 3D (version 9.5), Cinema 4D (MAXON) , Softimage XSI, Houdini, modo and Strata 3D, Adobe Photoshop from version CS3 and others.
    If the model does not have a reference to the terrain, then when the model is loaded, an interactive mode is proposed to transfer the model to the desired location. The transformation mode by the two selected points allows you to move, scale, rotate, lower, lift and even tilt the model, as it will be necessary. The models loaded into the DB3D format can be used to build a three-dimensional model of the terrain together with other data sources: vector maps, space and aerial photographs, geoportals, point clouds, matrixes of heights.

    An example for the demonstration of new import capabilities and three-dimensional display in the GIS "Panorama" was the model of the central part of the city of Yekaterinburg, prepared by the "Rakurs" company using the PHOTOMOD software. The construction of metric three-dimensional models of urban development and 3D-vectorization in stereoscopic mode is one of the many photogrammetric processing services provided by "Racurs" company.

    The task of connecting geoportals is improved. Support for geoportals with an arbitrary tile size is added. This will allow you to load tiles with sizes of 512x512, 1024x1024 pixels and others. The settings are put into the user file crsregister.xml, which contains the description of user matrixes, their projections, scale factors and tile sizes.

    In the "Map Editor" task there is added a mode of creating a multipolygon by selected polygon objects. To simplify the interface of the program in the "Undo" mode, no question is asked to confirm the operator’s action if one map in the window was edited. In the "Delete object" mode, a question is not asked to confirm the operator’s action if the Ctrl key is pressed when you select by mouse the object to be deleted. In the dialog of connecting to the GIS Server in the "Monitoring" bookmark, the "Log" button was added to view the server operation log. The bookmark is displayed if the user has administrator rights on the GIS Server. This possibility is supported in the GIS Server version 8.1.1 and higher.

    The display of title has been improved: when displaying labels after a period, comma, colon, digital symbol, narrow spaces are automatically placed. Examples: New, street Green, h. 1, fl. 2; scale = 1: 50 000; 2018. Narrow spaces allow you to reduce the size of the title image. There is added the ability to set the contour thickness (in hundredths of a millimeter) and the case of letters: all uppercase, all lowercase, as in the sentence. Calculation of the bounding box of the title is refined, the option "Narrow background" is added, which allows to compute a more compact size of the title. Reduced size of titles allow you to perform more high-quality automatic placement of titles, and also to use the narrow background of titles for masking or cropping lines, located under the title.

    Import of data from KML and KMZ formats is improved. Objects on the map can be created with graphical parameters specified in the KML file, or with a conventional symbol selected from the RSC. For point objects that have links to icons, the corresponding graphic files are downloaded and displayed.

  • 03.10.2018 Technologies of KB "Panorama" for satellite monitoring of farmlands are presented at a scientific agrophysical conference in St. Petersburg
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" took part in the second All-Russian scientific conference with international participation "The use of remote-sensing instruments of the Earth in agriculture". The conference was held from 26 to 28 September 2018 at the Agrophysical Research Institute in St. Petersburg.

    Employees of the company presented the report on the topic "Collecting and preparing the remote sensing data of the Earth from open sources for the purpose of information support for precision farming systems" with an overview of current data sources and methods for their correction for use in a single geographic information system of agricultural enterprises.   • 28.09.2018 KB "Panorama" congratulated the staff of the Kuban State Technological University on the 100th anniversary
    In September, 2018, the Kuban State Technological University celebrated the 100th anniversary. Annually about 20 000 students study at the university (together with the correspondence form of education). Since 2000, the GIS "Panorama" is widely used in the educational process in the areas of "Land management and cadastres" and "Construction", as well as in the course of additional vocational education. The Department of Cadastre and Geoengineering has prepared methodological instructions for the implementation of laboratory, practical and coursework based on the use of GIS Panorama. This software is one of the basic in studying such disciplines as: geodesy, engineering geodesy, applied geodesy, photogrammetry and remote sensing of territories.     In KB "Panorama" the tools of GIS ToolKit of version 12.6.0 are developed for creating GIS applications in the environment of C ++ Builder, Delphi Embarcadero. The toolkit is based on the new version of the GIS-core, which increases the reliability of functioning the developed applications when working with a large amount of data in a high-performance environment. The basic libraries of the GIS core for working with the spatial data base are assembled in the Visual Studio environment, which allowed to make full use of the mechanism for processing structured exceptions (SEH) for Windows. Structured exception handling (SEH) improves the reliability of the application. New libraries are checked for absence of memory leaks with use of toolkit the Microsoft Application Verifier.

    With GIS ToolKit, you can create multi-threaded high-load applications for processing large amounts of spatial data. An example of such an application can be GIS WebService SE, a web service for publishing spatial data over protocols: OGC WMS, OGC WMTS, OGC WFS, OGC WFS-T, OGC WCS.

In the new version, interaction with the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data is improved, for this a new request for deleting folders from the GIS Server has been added. This allows you to optimize server disk space when removing geo-coverings from the Data Bank. To obtain information on the process of downloading information to the Data Bank, a new request has been added to receive the log of the program's operation.

    The new version improved the creation of tiles for matrixes of heights. The service allows you to get a smoothed terrain model without gaps and emissions of heights on the borders of tiles.   • 07.09.2018 KB "Panorama" and "Geoscan" companies are working on integration of their 3D technologies
    KB "Panorama" and the group of companies "Geoskan" realize projects on combining their technologies in the sphere of three-dimensional modeling. Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared new versions of software products: GIS WebService SE (version 12.1.3), GIS WebServer SE (version 4.2) and professional GIS "Panorama" (version 12.6.1). In them there is implemented the ability of displaying the photorealistic 3D models of unlimitedly large size in DB3D format, which is designed for storing and displaying pyramids of three-dimensional tiles packed together with metadata tables in SQLite format. The format provides a fast issuance of spatial information in accordance with the requested scale and territory by tiles, models or objects. The format is intended for storing data in 3D-tiles pyramids of various type, for example, GoogleMapsCompatible ((a matrix compatible with Google data in projection EPSG:3857), GoogleCrs84Quad (a matrix compatible with Google data in projection EPSG:4326). Level of scale of data details and the coverage area is not limited. Import is supported to the DB3D format from formats of tile models TLS (Agisoft Tiled Mode) and point cloud Agisoft OC3.

    Data for the development and testing of new modes were provided by "Geoscan" company. As an example there is used the model of a part of the city of Tomsk, loaded of format TLS (Agisoft Tiled Model). A high-precision three-dimensional terrain model was obtained using unmanned aerial photography systems the Geoskan 101 and Geoskan 401 and photo-grammatical software. About 190,000 images were taken with a resolution of 3-5 cm per pixel, and the survey area for the whole model was more than 320 square kilometers. Compilation survey for high-precision equalization consisted of 1400 points. Based on the obtained data, "Geoskan" specialists created a photorealistic 3D model, an orthophotomap with a spatial resolution of 5 cm per pixel and an accuracy in the plan of 15 cm, a digital model of the terrain and photo panoramas of the city.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 4.2 is developed. In the new version in 3D map, animation of waves for water objects of background's layers is added. At forming the images of background layers and layers of three-dimensional tiles, the tiles of several levels of scaling are used. This allows you to reduce the amount of requested data and to expand the area of a displayed surface. The composition of three-dimensional symbols (cylindrical objects of a kind a warehouse/hangar) is expanded. Into Map Editor the models of fast creation of objects are added.     In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 12.6.1 is developed. The new version of the "Complex of agronomical tasks" implements the possibility of loading satellite monitoring's data for a list of fields. The mode provides tools for obtaining matrixes of different types of vegetation indices onto several fields contours. Such approach allows in convenient form to cover with satellite data all the fields of the organization for further analysis of the biomass state.

    Selection of the received data is possible by means of setting filters according to the type of vegetation index, the date of shooting and the resolution of the original images. The most common types of indices are available for download: Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Chlorophyll Vegetation Index (CVI), Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) and Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI). The source of remote sensing data is the external service of Geosys company.

    Based on the data received from the service, the vegetation indexes distribution matrixes are automatically constructed and placed on the GIS Server for the possibility of remote, multi-user, authorized access. References to matrixes are recorded in the database "Panorama AGRO".

    GIS WebService SE version 12.1.3 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version of the service, in order to increase performance and displaying 3D terrain models in multithreaded mode, there is added a support of SQLite databases of 3D objects of version 3.6.1 and below. For the formation and processing the matrixes of elevations and quality necessary for building 3D models, the reliability and speed of information exchange with the GIS Server is increased. In order to reduce the time for data preparation, queries were added for transformation of matrix geo-covers to a specific projection. To increase the speed of searching for objects by vector data, search filters by key are added.

  • 09.08.2018 GIS "Panorama" x64 supports multi-sheet map with data compression in MAPZ and SITZ format
    In KB "Panorama" is developed the GIS "Panorama" version 12.6.1 for the x64 platform. In the new version of the program the support is added for new data formats MAPZ and SITZ. Multi-sheet map and user map can be packed into one file with data compression. Packed multi-sheet map has a MAPZ extension, a packaged user map - SITZ. To increase the degree of compression, the accuracy of the object metric is automatically converted to centimeters. The volume of the packed data decreases approximately in 3 times in comparison with volume of initial data with the maximum accuracy of a metric. Unpacking of data is carried out automatically in memory in process of reading the corresponding sheets and objects from the packed formats. If the map sheet is located in memory entirely it is unpacked in a multithreaded mode at opening of sheet's data for access acceleration. The packed maps are accessible read-only. Conversion to SITZ and MAPZ format is performed in the task of Map Sorting. Formats SITX, SITZ, MAPZ can be converted back to the original SIT or MAP formats by sorting. Packed maps with the reverse converting retain the accuracy of the metric in centimeters.

    "Map Sorting" task at a choice of accuracy of coordinates in cm saves flat coordinates of objects in integer centimeters. The size of the coordinates file is reduced in 2 times. The data format is compatible with versions of GIS Panorama 11.13.3 and higher. Task "Map compression by method of rounding coordinates" is removed from the tasks list, since it performed the same actions.

    The task "Lists of objects" is refined. Into search by lists the option "Crossing and outside" is added. The option "Crossing and outside"allows you to find objects that are crossed or are located outside relative to objects of another list.There are expanded the possibilities of finding and marking the map objects by semantics in the "Search and mark" dialog. The list of semantics values and searching conditions can be grouped with specifying of logic conditions within groups and between groups - ALL ARE TRUE (AND) or AT LIST ONE IS TRUE (OR), that allows to create in an interactive mode the complex conditions of search for objects by value of their attributes.

    Into the set of complex views of conventional symbols the function of displaying lines with variable length of dashes is added, which can be used to display linear drying-up and dry river beds when issuing topographic maps. Function is added into the library of programmable symbols Shape.iml. Samples of symbols of a new view are added into examples of data: File - Example data - Shape\shape.sitx.

    Into the task "Classifier Editor" there is added a possibility of a saving a classifier palette into a text file. Palettes files can be used when setting up classifiers of different scales and modifications. There is added the ability of request and saving the list of the objects having the specified color palette. The resulting list allows you to check the correctness of the assigning the colors to objects, as well as to identify unused colors. In the object properties in the RSC classifier, the "Obsolete object" field is added. Obsolete objects by default do not appear in the list of objects in the "Object creation" dialog box, but can be included into the "Obsolete objects" field. This allows you to store objects in the RSC classifier from obsolete classifiers for compatibility, but hide them when creating and updating the map from the operator to facilitate the selection of allowed types of objects.

    To speed up work with large regions (MAP maps containing more than 1000 sheets), when you import sheet lists into DIR, folders for every 1000 sheets are automatically created starting with the second one. The folders are named sheets_1000 (for sheets from 1000 to 1999), sheets_2000 (for sheets from 2000 to 2999), etc. The first thousand sheets are written in a folder together with the passport of the region map. For every 1000 sheets, 4-5 thousand files are created. Earlier versions of programs open such regions in the usual way, if they are from the same OS (MS Windows or Linux) with the program that created the large region.

    The task "Import of GPS-coordinates in format NMEA 0183" is improved. Processing of RMC message is added at importing data by protocol NMEA 0183. The RMC message transmits the recommended minimum of navigation data and contains a set of so-called "PVT" data - "position, velocity, time" (position, speed, time).

    In the main menu of the program in section "File - Import rasters or matrix from...", the menu item "Matrix GDAL" is added. The item is intended for execution of importing the matrixes of elevations and qualities from files of formats GeoTiff, IMG, DEM.   • 03.08.2018 GIS WebServer SE expands possibilities for analysis of spatial data
    GIS WebServer SE version 4.1 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version of the program the possibility is added to export information about map objects into Excel. The application creates a copy of the selected objects and forms a file which can be opened in the table editor. The data is downloaded to the user's browser and can be used to analyze and disseminate its results.

    The new mode "Viewing the layer"quickly positions the map in the center of the selected map layer and scales the image so that the whole layer was displayed in the window. The administration module has been improved. Visual customizing the components of the map project allows you to change the composition of components and the order of control buttons on the map. The design of the user's interface of the user is updated.

    The toolkit of developing the Web-applications the GIS WebToolKit SE has been improved, which expands possibilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service of GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. Various types of high-altitude data are used as a digital elevation model: matrixes (in the formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, point cloud and others. At request the most accurate data onto a specified terrain site with a given resolution is automatically sampled. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used.   • 01.08.2018 Imagery Creator creates Big Data spatial data arrays for geo-covers
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Creator version 9.5 is developed. In the new version of the program, the ability is added for creating spatial data arrays of Big Data by geo-covers, up to the whole territory of the Globe. To do this, Imagery Creator supports the format of GPKG (geopackage). It is an array of SQLite databases in which tiles are stored in formats of PNG, JPG, PNG8 or HMP. GPKG format allows to store not only spatial information in the form of tiles, but also digital information containing data about elevations (digital elevations matrixes). The advantage of this format is the rapid retrieval of information due to the matrix division of the entire Earth's surface into several databases. In addition, it provides access to spatial data Big Data onto the territory of the northern and southern poles. This is achieved by storing the information in the EPSG:4326 projection of the international matrix OGC GoogleCRS84Quad.

    The program allows to form tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8, Mbtiles and GPKG according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. The tile data generated by the Imagery Creator program, is used by software the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.

  • 30.07.2018 GIS ToolKit provides display of mobile objects
    In KB "Panorama" the toolkit of GIS ToolKit version 12.5.9 was developed for creating GIS-applications in Delphi, C ++ Builder Embarcadero environment. New version improved the functioning of components TMapScreen (the component of processing and display of a set of spatial layers), TMapObj (the component of work with a separate spatial object) in a mode of displaying mobile objects.

    The mode of displaying mobile objects allows you to speed up and improve visual qualities (excluding the blinking of the map) of displaying mobile and stationary user objects on the map background. Improving the display of user objects is carried out by optimizing the redrawing of the background map. In general, the background map image is put into the window from the internal image buffer of the map, and not by drawing the map from the data file. The more number of user objects are displayed simultaneously, the higher the optimization factor by speed and quality of display.

    The components set allows creating monitoring systems for mobile objects that store coordinate descriptions in popular databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgre SQL). The using the special components of navigation and managing the geodatabase allows to simplify work with vast territories. The spatial data (geo-databases) prepared in the GIS "Panorama", including imported from the exchange formats of other geographic information systems (MIF/MID, DXF, SHAPE, KML, GDF) can serve as the background (general) maps for displaying mobile objects.

    The geo-database can be located either in the workplace (direct access to data) or in the local network or the Internet (there are used the components of access to the GIS Server or data exchange over the international protocols WMS, WFS, WCS, WMTS). The toolkit provides access to spatial data published by geoportals from different manufacturers, including predefined settings for popular geoportals: Yandex, Google, Rosreestr, Panorama, Kosmosnimki, Navitel, Mail, Air traffic monitoring and others. The list of available geoportals is constantly expanding. Data from geoportals can be combined with spatial data on the client.

  • 26.07.2018 In the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE new tools of spatial data analysis and animation of results are implemented
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor version 12.3.2 the GIS is developed for operating system MSVS 3.0. The new version adds the ability to build a surface profile along a specified line or selected object using a matrix of heights. The result is displayed in a window as a graph, with help of which the user can interactively determine the elevation parameters at the selected point (profile height, degree of slope). Automatically calculates the elevation's values of current and end points that must be added to ensure line of sight. The building results can be exported to a text or graphic file (bmp, png, jpeg). Import of high-altitude data from the exchange format grd is realized.

    The visual component of animation of objects of a vector map is added. It allows you graphically to select an arbitrary set of objects with a given color and periodicity. With this functionality, you can implement an animated representation of the result of a search or the operations of adding, deleting, editing objects. Selection of objects for marking is carried out using standard tools of work with the context of the search from the MAPAPI interface. The animation component can be used in combination with the Qt framework's drawing tools to implement arbitrary dynamic selection of spatial data.

    The set of test examples is expanded, including: creating of a matrix of qualities, constructions of a visibility area, import of the height data from the grd format, a changing the coordinates of the metrics of object. The functionality of the basic demonstration example mapview is supplemented by map turn, change of parameters of displaying the spatial data (brightness, contrast, transparency), moving of window to the point and center of the object, displaying the cursor coordinates in the status bar.

    In the print component, the functionality of outputting spatial data to a physical printer is realized. There is increased the maximum number of processed search contexts for processing vector maps with a large number of sheets in the search component. The processing of the classifier in the component of the road graph is improved.

    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 11.13.11 is developed for operating system Astra Linux Special Edition (Release "Smolensk"). In the new version the mode of drawing objects onto vector maps is improved. Geodetic coordinates of objects can be specified in radians, degrees or in degrees, minutes and seconds. By means of the advanced "Map contents" dialog, the user for each map individually sets the visibility, the ability to edit and select an object. This allows at the displaying to focus on individual maps and excludes the possibility of their random editing.

    The mechanism for saving user's session settings has been improved. Now the parameters file is written not into the temporary directory of the system, but into the user's home directory. This allows you to save the settings after rebooting the system and to differentiate the sessions of the individual users. The convenience of working with the dialogs "Map print", "Label options", "Matrix builder" has been improved. In the dialog "Create object" the checking of entering an incorrect metric is extended. Displaying objects of operational situation in accordance with the CEUZ is refined.

    GIS "Operator" is an universal domestic geoinformation system for power structures. The program is intended for accumulation, the storage, the automated processing and displaying the data, results of calculations and the forecasts having a geospatial binding. GIS "Operator" contains tools for displaying and processing vector, raster and matrix maps.   • 23.07.2018 GIS WebServer AGRO supports the vegetation indices CVI and EVI at the analysis of satellite monitoring
    GIS WebServer AGRO version 2.6 was developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version the tools of satellite monitoring of fields support the viewing of the vegetation indices CVI and EVI. The ability to accumulate the results of building zoning maps is added.

    The CVI index (vegetation index of chlorophyll) has an increased sensitivity to the chlorophyll content in the foliage and is used from the beginning to the middle of the crop growth cycle. The EVI (Advanced Vegetation Index) index is used to assess the variability of development of crops in the growth stage with high biomass. Zoning maps are a synthesis of selected vegetation maps and soils on the basis of satellite images of high accuracy (10 m and 30 m) at different periods and under different climatic influences, which in turn determine the sustainably allocated agronomic zones on the field. Analyzing archival satellite imagery of past seasons, a potentially possible distribution of plant biomass is modeled. Zoning maps can identify problem areas on the map of fields, develop measures to increase productivity, and accurately predict crop yields.

    The collection and processing of satellite imagery for satellite monitoring's data is carried out by Geosys company. Data of satellite monitoring is loaded from web service of the company and is accumulated in information base the GIS "Panorama AGRO" with a binding to a field's contour. The data obtained make it possible to understand the true cause of the problems of each field and to promptly influence the growth of plants throughout the season. In GIS WebServer AGRO, the viewing and analysis of vegetation indexes matrixes from a single agricultural enterprise base has been expanded and structured. As a source of spatial data, GIS WebServer AGRO uses the multiplatform cartographical service GIS WebService SE. Data exchange with the service is performed according to international open standards OGC: WMTS, WMS, WCS and WFS. The maps placed on the GIS Server can be a source of the data for service the GIS WebService SE. The map layers published from the server reflect the current state of the spatial data base in the time mode close to the real one.

One of the main advantages of this opportunity is quick access to the application - any user can start working with the program in a few minutes, after registering with the online service. Working with GIS Panorama via the Internet will allow owners of such industry solutions, as, for example, "Workstation of the urban-planner", to evaluate and take advantage of the full functionality of the flagship geoinformation system KB "Panorama".

    The application of the GIS Panorama via the Internet became possible through cooperation with the Israeli company GeoCloud, which developed a cloud-based service that allows users to remotely access the software of the world's largest developers in the field of geoinformation technologies. GIS WebService SE at the moment of receipt of the user requests forms virtual data handlers. With their help, the service manages the process of executing internal operations and evenly distributes the load across the system's cores depending on the capabilities of the server. At the first opening of data, GIS WebService SE in an automatic mode preliminary prepares them, sorting and indexing vector maps by means of trees. Changing the architecture allows you to increase the number of simultaneously processed user requests, improve stability at load, increase the throughput of the service and ensure the scalability of the server by further increasing the cores of the system.

    The service operates around the clock and processes various types of spatial information (vector, raster and matrix data, point clouds, databases, three-dimensional information). There is added the ability to go to the center of the model through the Map Contents. The transition is performed by moving along a parabolic trajectory.

    In the map editor the mode of a merge of two identical map objects is added and the interface of the user is updated. At address search and search in Rosreestr for an address point the information on object is displayed at pointing the cursor of the mouse. Search by area is extended by the mode of manual input of the coordinates of the search area for more accurate selection of objects.

    KB "Panorama" prepared a digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF for the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. VMap0 data obtained according to information from the website www.gis-lab.info has served as source for map's preparation.

    The map contains information about the quantity of inhabitants for cities and the names of settlements in Russian. As additional materials the World Map of scale 1: 5 000 000 and data of OpenStreetMap were used. The map is led to the classifier of geographical maps of scale from 1: 1 000 000 (1mogk13g.rsc). It can be used for the general estimation of the terrain and studying of an environment, an ensuring of educational process, as a basis for creation of geographical maps of smaller scale, thematic and special maps and solving other tasks.

    The map is distributed free according to the free licence. Digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF is available for downloading on page "Digital maps and images".

  • 27.06.2018 Multilingual GIS Panorama Mini allows in the mode near to real time to track the movement of aircrafts
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Panorama Mini version 12.6.0 for the x64 platform is developed with an interface in English, French and Spanish. In the new version a support of the geoportal is added for realisation of monitoring the movement of aircraft. Geoportal "Monitoring the Air Traffic" uses the public web service Flightradar24 allowing in real time to observe of position of aircrafts, being in air. The tracking with the help of service the position of the aircraft is possible only if it is equipped with a transponder of ADS-B type and that is switched on. An aircraft equipped with an ADS-B transponder, during the entire flight, approximately every second generates and sends into an air a broadcast, open radio message, which contains the actual data at the time of departure-its exact coordinates, current speed, altitude and other information. The service uses ADS-B receivers installed around the world that receive information from aircraft and send it to the Flightradar24 server. In order to improve the security of information exchange with geoportals, the ability to connect data via the https protocol is realized. The use of this protocol allows you to protect against attacks based on listening of a network connection.

    There is added a support for zip-archives at opening the data sets (vector maps, images, matrices) and updating the open data. If the zip archive is encrypted, the user will be automatically prompted to enter a password to access the data.     In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 12.0.9 is developed. The new version increases the reliability of the service in the mode of round-the-clock operation. With the help of built-in self-diagnostics, the service allows you to identify and fix problems and failures that occur at processing incorrect data, lack of server resources or when critical situations occur. An example of such situations is the lack of processing power to fulfill all received requests. The diagnostics subsystem collects information about the number of operations performed per second, the number of received requests, the number of system cores and other information. Based on these data, the service in an automated mode can make a decision about organization of the queue for executing requests. All processed information and decisions made by the program are recorded into the work log, providing the administrator with the necessary information to increase the server's processor capacities. Monitoring the state improves the reliability and fault tolerance of the application, speeds up the search for errors and decision-making by the service's administrator for changing the server's hardware. In order that the administrator could find quickly the necessary information on service's work, tools of viewing the log with possibility of events filtration are built-in into the module of remote administration.

  • 14.06.2018 In GIS "Panorama" a new technology of forming a realistic three-dimensional model in DB3D format is implemented
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 12.6.0 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version into the task "Navigator 3D" there is added a support of 3D-tiles of spatial data in DB3D format for displaying exact and realistic three-dimensional models of unlimitedly large size. DB3D format is designed for storing and displaying pyramids of three-dimensional tiles packed together with tables of metadata in SQLite format. It provides for the rapid issuance of spatial information in accordance with the requested scale and territory: by tiles, by models or by objects. Level of scale of data details and the coverage area is not limited. Range of scales recommended for work from 10-12 to 22 level of tile pyramid. The volume of one 3D-tile of scale 12 with a pyramid to 22 level can be about 20-30 Gb. It supports import to DB3D format from formats of TLS tile model (Agisoft Tiled Mode) and Agisoft OC3 point cloud. Vector 3D-tiles can be used for building a 3D terrain model in conjunction with other data sources: vector maps, space and aerial photographs, geoportals, point clouds, elevation matrixes.

    The task "Export of vector data to DBF, XLS, TXT, CSV, HTM formats" is improved. Possibility is implemented of processing the list of maps with one classifier for the purpose of saving coordinates and characteristics of objects of open maps in one file of the specified format. Into the task of importing a list of maps' sheets DIR into a MAP multisheet map, there is added a processing of ZIP files that can contain one or more files of one of formats - SXF, SHP/DBF, MIF/MID (in one archive one format is processed). Files of maps sheets can be grouped into folders.

    Into the "Map Editor" task, a new object creation mode was added into the "Autofigures" group - "Building an expanding zone". An expanding zone is an area around a portion of a linear object whose radius is uniformly increased from zero to the value specified in the Map Editor parameters. The radius value can be changed during the operation of the mode from the menu pop-up by the right mouse button or by pressing hot keys. The sample of created object is selected from the classifier in the standard dialog "Create object". Expanding zone can be used to display on the transport schemes the ways of servicing the trains on the sections of circulation of locomotives and locomotive brigades.

    "Complex of geodesy tasks" is refined. In the "Formation of reports" group, a new mode "Town planning plan of the land plot" was added. The mode uses templates that meet the requirements for the TPLP form from 2017, from the folder Urban.dot. For automation of processes of mapping of measurements by the values specified on images of archival plans and schemes of underground cable lines, modes are improved: "Calculated coordinates (method of normals)", "Calculated coordinates (method of distances)", "To calculate coordinates (crossings of distances)", "Building object parallel", "Building a piece in parallel". The mode "Loading data from XML-files of the state real estate cadastre" is improved. There is implemented a reading and mapping the information on parts of the object when processing a cadastral statement of the building, construction, the object under construction. In the "Technical premises plan" mode, an XML file is created for the type of cadastral work for change of information about the premises.

    There is improved the mode "Create schema objects and filling the report" by the users' appeals of the "Geodesy Editor". In the report wizard the number of actions (keystrokes) of the user is reduced. In dialog "To print report", the automatic start of process of report generation is implemented without pressing the "Print" button.

  • 01.06.2018 "Workstation of agronomist" is integrated with service of satellite monitoring of fields
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 12.6 is developed. In the new version in the "Complex of agronomical tasks" the tools of satellite monitoring of agricultural land contours are implemented. New software tools form a single system for obtaining, storing and analyzing the main types of vegetation indices in the form of quality matrixes and average values over the field contour. Vegetation indices are biomass status indicators during the vegetation period, calculated on the basis of multispectral remote sensing data of the Earth. Monitoring the values of the indices during the season makes it possible to predict yields and on-time to determine fields with low efficiency.

    Modes "Obtaining matrixes of vegetation indices" and "Obtaining average NDVI values" provide an interface for interaction with an external Geosys service. These modes allow you to upload matrixes of qualities with values of the indices Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Chlorophyll Vegetation Index (CVI), Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI), Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI) and the average daily value on the contour of the field over the past 10 years. The downloaded data is stored on the user's computer or in a virtual GIS Server folder and can be integrated into a single database of agro-enterprise the GIS "Panorama AGRO". When creating requests for an external service, the "Sowing date" attribute is used from the "Field passport" dialog and a coordinate description of the field contour.

    To work with received matrixes within the scope of a single environment, the mode "View matrixes of vegetation indices" has been adapted. It allows you to view and manage the matrixes of vegetation indices from database the GIS "Panorama AGRO". In the new mode, "Viewing of average NDVI values", an interactive graph of the average daily values of the index for several seasons (crop year) is displayed. Analysis of the graph allows us to assess the dynamics of the development of the field's biomass for different seasons.   • 31.05.2018 GIS WebServer SE realistically displays multi-dimensional geospatial data
    GIS WebServer SE version 3.9 is developed in the KB "Panorama". In the new version of the program the 3D map displays photorealistic three-dimensional models of unlimitedly large size. The models are presented in a new format of tile vector 3D terrain models - DB3D. As a DB3D data source, there is used the GIS WebService SE of version no less than 12.0.7.

    Creation of data in DB3D format is performed in the professional GIS "Panorama". The technology is developed with the use of importing the tile models in TLS (Agisoft Tiled Model) format, point cloud in Agisoft OC3 format or 3D terrain models in COLLADA format. The example of displaying new three-dimensional models is presented on the website. As an example, the model of a part of the city of Tomsk, provided by the company "Geoscane" is used. A high-precision three-dimensional terrain model was obtained using unmanned aerial survey systems and photogrammetric software.Such models are highly informative and expand the possibilities for operational 3D analysis. Mapping the 3D models of DB3D requires a relatively small expenses of the resources of the client application. Managing a transparency of layers of three-dimensional tiles and a background is added.

    Possibilities of "Manager of map project " are expanded. The mode provides an opportunity to change the data composition of the map projects. Users can dynamically update the current composition of the map data layers or completely change it. The administration module is updated. A separate page has been added to configure the permissions of the application's users.

    The toolkit of developing the Web-applications the GIS WebToolKit SE has been improved, which expands possibilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. Various types of high-altitude data are used as a digital elevation model: matrixes (in the formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, point cloud and others. At request the most accurate data onto a specified terrain site with a given resolution is automatically sampled. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data is represented as tiles and cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development.   • 29.05.2018 Technology of unmanned driving of vehicles using a satellite positioning system and a high-precision digital map is presented at the conference in MIIGAiK
    The Russian Institute of Radionavigation and Time (RIRT) has presented on May, 28th, 2018 in MIIGAiK at the International scientific and technical conference "Spatial data as a basis for development of digital economy" the presentation about domestic technology of support of unmanned driving of vehicles. The essence of the technology consists in the preparation and continuous issuance of actual and calculated parameters of the movement (coordinates, course, speed) from the precise positioning system and the digital model of the road to the vehicle and the formation on their basis of control actions onto the executive mechanisms of the unmanned vehicle.

    The system of precise positioning provides a highly accurate (3-5 cm) positioning of moving vehicles in real time. As the technical basis of the high-precision coordinate system, there are used the developed software and the hardware of satellite base stations series-produced by the Russian Institute of Radio Navigation and Time.

    Layers of spatial data of the digital road model are created in the GIS "Panorama" environment using the automated technology of downloading the results of road measurements obtained by the specialized road laboratory of the NPO "Region" with the use of mobile laser scanning.
    The digital road model is published in the form of cartographic web-service that provides external consumers with information on structural lines of road, rational trajectory and safe high-speed mode of vehicle movement. For web-service creation the software products of KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE and GIS WebServer SE were used.

    The presented technology allows to carry out autonomous traffic of vehicles in adverse weather conditions, at night, without equipping the road infrastructure with expensive equipment, and also to minimize the operating costs for the maintenance of the system. Safety of movement from collision with obstacles is provided by means of technical vision.

    GIS WebService SE version 12.0.8 was developed in the KB "Panorama". The service supports a working with a new format for storing and displaying tile vector 3D terrain models (DB3D). In it, the spatial information is stored in the form of a tile pyramid in the SQLite database, grouped by models and tiles. The texture cover of models is provided by high-resolution images.

    It is possible to load the data in DB3D format with help of the GIS "Panorama". The program allows you to import the data of tile models in TLS (Agisoft Tiled Model) format, point cloud in Agisoft OC3 format, 3D terrain models in COLLADA format.

    By using the new data format, the consumption of resources in the browser by user applications (for example, GIS WebServer SE) is reduced, the speed is increased and the smoothness of drawing is improved.

    Together with the external view of the object, the service transmits information about elevations, metadata and vector information. Use of the service allows you to model the entire surface of Globe in three-dimensional form.

  • 21.05.2018 Imagery Creator for Astra Linux SE automates the process of preparing large amounts of spatial data for publication
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Creator version 9.4 is developed for OS Astra Linux SE (Release "Smolensk"). The program forms pyramids of tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8 and Mbtiles according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. Imagery Creator allows you to process the cartographical data both on territory of the whole Globe, and on individual continents and countries. For example, for forming 700 000 000 tiles on 84 maps onto territory of Russia at the scale of 1: 10 000, containing 19 000 000 objects, the Imagery Creator program needed 9 hours.

    Imagery Creator provides remote administration of data via the web interface. The program allows you to connect to data on the GIS Server and create backup copies of the generated data. It creates tiles for the object, taking into account or without taking into account the contour of the object, it forms tiles of small scale according to tiles of a larger scale. With its help it is possible to choose pyramids of created tiles: GoogleMapsCompatible, EPSG:3395, TMS, MILLER and others. The application provides remote monitoring the status of work, the percentage of the current task's execution, the forecasting of the completion time. Imagery Creator logs its actions, allows you to adjust the performance by monitoring the number of threads of cutting and the amount of RAM consumed.

    The tile data generated by the Imagery Creator are used by software the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.

  • 14.05.2018 GIS WebServer AGRO provides tools of analyzing data of fields
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer AGRO version 2.5 is developed, in which possibility for the visual analyzing the data of satellite monitoring of agricultural land is added. The new version of the program allows you to view the data of vegetative indices NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and GNDVI (Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), characterizing the development of plant biomass during vegetation.

    Data of satellite monitoring is loaded from web service of Geosys company and is accumulated in information base the GIS "Panorama AGRO" with a binding to a field's contour. In GIS WebServer AGRO, the viewing and analysis of vegetation indexes matrixes from a single agricultural enterprise base has been added. For the analysis of numerical values of the vegetation index by matrixes of qualities the tool "Value of matrixes in a point" is intended. Multiplatform cartographical service GIS WebService SE provides provision of data. Data exchange with the service is performed according to international open standards OGC: WMTS, WMS, WCS and WFS. As a source of data of satellite monitoring (numerical values and images of vegetation indexes) for GIS WebService SE are the maps and the matrixes placed on the GIS Server. Publication of data on the GIS Server is performed automatically, at the time of loading the satellite monitoring's data, in the time mode close to the real one.

    There are supported a retrospective analysis of images of several matrixes of the vegetation indexes characterising development of a biomass of plants at various stages of vegetation, and also a viewing the maps of zoning and graphs of daily average values for several seasons. The zoning maps, built using historical NDVI imagery, allow us to identify problem areas on the map of fields, and accurately predict crop yields.

    The new version adds the ability to save the last location for each user of the program, in the map editor, the group operations for deleting and moving map objects are added. Modes of selecting objects of a map are expanded: there are added a selection of objects arbitrarily specified on a map and selection of objects by a conventional symbol of selected object.   • 07.05.2018 Tools for analysis of data of satellite monitoring of fields are embedded into GIS β€œPanorama AGRO”
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama AGRO" version 5.0 is developed, which supports viewing the matrixes of vegetation indices obtained as a result of satellite monitoring.

    Numerical values of vegetation indexes are calculated by external service of satellite monitoring. The result is provided in the form of a matrix of qualities with a discreteness corresponding to the resolution of the original image. Data of satellite monitoring are provided by the Geosys company.

    The new version of "Panorama AGRO" supports a viewing and analysis of the matrixes of vegetation indices of the following types: Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Chlorophyll Vegetation Index (CVI), Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI), Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI). The most popular in agriculture is the index NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) - the normalized relative index of vegetation, according to which it is possible to judge the development of plant biomass during vegetation. According to numerous scientific publications, according to the NDVI index, crop yields can be predicted with high accuracy. The vegetation index NDVI is changed all season and its values are different during the growth, flowering and maturation of plants.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 1 is developed for Windows. GIS Constructor for Windows allows you to develop GIS applications based on the MAPAPI interface, using the capabilities of the Qt framework for Windows. The program includes test cases demonstrating the basic capabilities of processing the digital data: display of digital vector, raster and matrix maps; printing of the displayed data to various output devices; search of objects of vector maps by the specified set of values of objects attributes and their geometrical parameters; creation and editing of vector maps; construction of three-dimensional models of terrain.

    The components of the QDMapView map display are included into the graphics components. It can be taken as a basis for developing your own GIS application. Interactive interaction with the map can be realized through predefined event handlers. The functionality of changing the composition of the displayed data and objects, searching and marking, printing and other typical tasks is available through the dialogs and functions of libraries the GIS ToolKit for Windows.

    GIS Constructor for Windows consists of components of visual and non-visual designing and kernel's libraries of GIS application from GIS Toolkit composition. Cross-platform of Qt libraries and MAPAPI interface allows you to carry out assemblage of the resulting source texts with help of GIS Constructor for Linux, while maintaining a single code base.

    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols.     In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 8 is developed. The program provides multi-user remote access to digital vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes, documents and spatial data bases. GIS Server implements user authorization based on the Kerberos protocol, automatic formΡˆΡ‚ΠΏ a tree of available data types for each user, administration of access at the level of virtual folders. The application provides access to spatial databases for viewing and editing in the form of digital maps of the terrain in given conventional symbols, multi-level connection of GIS Servers among themselves with automatic caching of transmitted data, remote monitoring of the operation status, automatic data backup, automatic restart in case of system-wide program failures or hardware, round-the-clock operation without interrupting users during administration of users list and more.

    In the new version, the tools for remote administration of the GIS Server on the Web are extended. There is added the ability to configure the GIS Server connection to other servers to gain access to remote data through several connections. Tools of monitoring a status of the server in Web are implemented for viewing the list of active users and open data, remote viewing the program work log.

    There is improved the performance of updating vector data on clients with intensive updating of objects on the server (thousands of requests per second). The composition of diagnostic messages is expanded when updating the spatial database. Recording into the protocol of the server work is executed in UTF-8 encoding, the user interface is localized in several languages.

  • 20.04.2018 A series of lessons for creating your own applications for the GIS "Panorama" is prepared
    One of advantages of the GIS "Panorama" for users is the ability singly to create and add into system own applications on processing of geodata. The extensive set of functions and methods of the MAPAPI interface enables developers knowing languages C ++ or Pascal, to implement their own ideas for processing spatial information and significantly expand the capabilities of existing version of the application. PANAPI software interface provides the user with means for interacting with the GIS control shell, interactive data selection and indicating the processing methods.

    In KB "Panorama" a series of training materials on creating application tasks for GIS "Panorama" in the Microsoft Visual Studio environment was prepared. Lessons and the project of implementing an application with a complete source code will help understand the basics of working with the functions and methods of the PANAPI and MAPAPI interfaces. Users can familiarize themselves with the work of the application task by downloading and adding the corresponding library to the GIS "Panorama".

    The first lesson outlines the general questions of creating a dll-library in the Microsoft Visual Studio environment, with the application code of the GIS "Panorama". Such questions as, the basic events and methods of the application task, creation of a toolbar are considered. From the second lesson you will learn how to create handlers for interactive modes of the application task, that is, those data processing modes that require the user to perform operations on the map, for example, selection by using the mouse of the objects or a certain part of the object. The third lesson describes the implementation of interactive modes that do not require the creation of a handler, for example, those in which interaction with the user occurs through dialog boxes. In the second and third lessons, examples of the use in the application task of various functions of the MAPAPI interface are presented.

The toolkit provides the basic tools for processing spatial data: displaying sets of vector, raster and matrix maps, creation and editing of vector maps, search of objects by the specified set of attributes values, obtaining the information about map objects, processing data from GPS/GLONASS receiver.

    The structure of GIS Constructor includes the source code of application the Panorama Mini GIS for Android OS, which the developer can take as a basis for creating your own mobile application. GIS Panorama Mini for Android OS allows you to display the main formats of digital maps of the GIS "Panorama" format, to receive information about the terrain objects (name, length, area, semantics), display the current position according to data of the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver, save the coordinates onto a separate user map.The data received from the application can be copied from the mobile device for further processing in desktop versions of GIS "Panorama" or GIS Panorama Mini.

    GIS Panorama Mini for Android OS uses the functions of the MAPAPI programming interface, whose libraries are part of GIS Constructor for Qt Designer. The cross-platform of MAPAPI interface allows the programmer to develop and test the GIS-application in the desktop operating system using the GIS Constructor available for a set of Linux systems. After debugging in desktop system the developer can execute assemblage of the application for Android OS with the minimal changes in the source code of the program. Libraries of access to digital maps from structure of the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer are implemented in C++ language, which allows you to create applications based on them, using various programming languages and frameworks, for example, Qt or Java.

  • 13.04.2018 Training-demonstration example on creation of applications for GIS "Panorama" is prepared
    KB "Panorama" prepared the training-demonstration example for creation of the user applications for the GIS "Panorama" in the Microsoft Visual Studio environment. This example will help developers learn how to apply the functions and methods of the PANAPI and MAPAPI interfaces to create new program modes.

    In the example, the task "Processing of multipolygons" is presented. It allows users of GIS "Panorama" to create and edit multipolygons - areal objects, consisting of several external and internal subobjects. Objects of this type are useful at creating maps, when you plan to connect to the maps of external databases. So on the political-administrative map with the help of multipolygons it is convenient to represent the territory of the administrative unit, which includes several separated parts. For example, if the administrative unit includes the territory of several islands. On a map of agricultural land with the help of multi-polygons, individual sites can be combined into one field, which is linked with recording an external database containing information on the crop grown on this field, grade, seed material and other.

    To add an application task into the GIS "Panorama", you need to copy the files from the maptask directory to the folder with the system files. Then start the program and select "Toos" -> "Run applications" in the main menu. In the opened dialog with the list of application tasks, select "Add application", specify the application's name and then select the file multipoligon.dll.

    In KB "Panorama" the classifier and library of conventional symbols of the digital large-scale navigation plan were developed. Digital large-scale navigation plan (LSNP) is a digital thematic map containing information about spatial objects sufficient for solving the problem of automated location of a vehicle on the road and calculation of the route of its movement, taking into account the lane traffic, a marking and information of road signs.

    Classifier LSNP is made taking into account the requirements: "GOST Π  51256-99. Technical facilities for organizing road traffic. Road marking. Types and basic parameters. General technical requirements"; "GOST Π  52282-2004. Technical facilities for organizing road traffic. Road traffic lights. Types and basic parameters. General technical requirements. Test methods"; "GOST Π  52290-2004. Technical facilities for organizing road traffic. Road signs. General technical requirements".

    LSNP is created on the basis of high-precision satellite geodetic measurements corresponding to the accuracy of digital topographic plans of scale 1: 500. Unlike digital navigation maps and digital city plans, where the road is represented by a linear object, on LSNP the road is represented by a set of polygonal, linear and point objects, characterizing all its arrangement. The use of the road2000.rsc digital classifier ensures the automatic loading of data from mobile laboratories intended for collecting data on the state of highways and adjacent objects. Loading is provided by tools of the GIS "Panorama".

    The downloaded information is published as a web-service - digital road model (DRM). The service provides information to external information systems under the unified protocols OGC WMS and WFS. Structure of the DRM web-service includes: digital cartographic substrate, road objects, roadside infrastructure and services, high-precision navigation information presented by the road graph, conditions and traffic modes. GIS WebService SE is used to publish the DRM on the Internet.

  • 04.04.2018 GIS WebServer SE increases the security of working with spatial data
    GIS WebServer SE version 3.8 is developed in KB "Panorama". The new version of the program provides tools of user's authentication on the GIS WebService SE service. Using the authentication of service users, you can receive data in accordance with the access rights set on it. This provides additional security for data exchange with the service, protects resources from unauthorized access.

    The mechanism for working with virtual folders has been updated - obtaining information about virtual folders is performed in JSON format to increase processing speed. Map scaling is accelerated, map animation at scaling by buttons is added. The administration module is updated.

    The web applications development tool the GIS WebToolKit SE has been refined, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service of GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain area with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development.     Specialists of KB "Panorama" performed works on updating and supplementing the cycle of training-presentation materials on application of the Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information (version 7.0.4). The series includes two new and nine refined presentations.

    The presentation "Conformity assessment of airfields to FAR requirements" examined the procedure for assessing obstacles according to the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR-262) and import/export of information from MS Excel documents. The new presentation "AIXM Converter" describes the work of exporting all types of aeronautical data to the AIXM format. The list of slides demonstrating new opportunities for processing zones, airfields and obstacles ("Conducting the main categories of aeronavigation objects") has been expanded. The materials on new parameters of the aerodrome infrastructure elements were added, which were introduced in accordance with the requirements of FAR-262. ("Conducting the base of the airdrome infrastructure"). The presentation "Maintaining the Routes of Standard Arrival, Departure and Instrumental Approach Routes" includes slides about working with waiting routes on the routes.     Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information is intended for the creation and maintenance of a database of aeronautical information, the formation of aeronautical charts, the designing of flight routes for aircraft and the exchange of data with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in ARINC and AIXM 5.1 format. The main source of aeronautical information is the aeronautical data base created on the basis of the Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model (AICM), with additions for storing the planned information and the results of the route designing. The model is recommended by the international organization for planning and coordination of air traffic "Eurocontrol".

  • 27.03.2018 Training video material on forming the Map Atlas in the GIS "Panorama" is prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared the video lesson of forming the Map atlas in the GIS "Panorama". The information basis of any geographic information system is the spatial data, which are classified by content, scale, purpose and territoriality. When working with cartographic data onto large areas, it becomes necessary to display information in an overview and with detailed textures. Combining all spatial data in one map leads to an increase in the time for searching for objects, performing the computational and analytical tasks. In order to speed up the processing of information, it is recommended to structure the data using the Map Atlas task.

    The map atlas is a systematic collection of spatial data and is designed to simplify the transition between overlapping data of different scale. The training film shows the technology of forming the Atlas of maps using the example of the Russian Federation's base map of scale 1: 1 000 000 and maps of subjects of the Russian Federation of scale 1: 25 000.

    The digital thematic (geographical) map of Russia on the scale of 1: 1 000 000 provides an overview of the country territory, but its composition does not provide detailed data on the subjects of the Russian Federation. Free maps based on OpenStreetMap data of scale 1: 25 000 contain detailed information on the objects of the terrain.

    When combining spatial data in the Map Atlas, the operator sets the visibility ranges (displaying) for each set and determines their numerical composition, which allows to exclude unused data. The transition is performed using the geodetic coordinates of the cursor or the center of the active window. The map atlas is presented as a tree of a group of projects. The group of projects includes various types of data - vector, raster and matrix maps, as well as map projects (MPT).

  • 24.03.2018 Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides data exchange between the various organisations
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data version 3.8.1 is developed. In the new version the possibility is added for exchange by the metadata and the data between several copies of the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. The new mode of export and import allows you to exchange information when it is not possible to organize direct access to one Data Bank, for example, when data banks are installed in different organizations.

    The bank's storehouse can include hundreds of terabytes of spatial information and contain vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes, terrain models and other types of data. The new version adds a mode of data integrity control. This mode, in addition to restoring the map-scheme, makes comparison of data sets being in storehouse with their backups. This makes it possible to restore files if there are differences in them.

    The mode of specifying the values of metadata is added at loading of data sets into storehouse. For example, you can set the same date of survey, security classification, or the comment for all uploaded data.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator").
    The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides construction of cloud storehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file storehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

  • 23.03.2018 Imagery Creator forms tiles for servers and services by the TMS standard
    Imagery Creator version 9.3.3 was developed in KB "Panorama". The new version of the program creates tiles according to the TMS standard. The main difference of this standard from OGC WMTS is the numbering of tiles and their location. They can be stored as separate files, or can be located in a database. Use of this standard will allow to access the tiles from other servers and services (GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE), and also to use the API interface of libraries, such as MAPAPI, GDAL and others.

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have carried out tests on creation of tiles in order to improve the program's capabilities. For creating 700 000 000 tiles on Russian maps in the scale of 1: 10 000, consisting of 84 maps and 19 000 000 objects, the Imagery Creator program took 9 hours. Creation of tiles was carried out on the computer with 4 core Intel Core i5 - 3.5 Ghz and Windows 7. Total amount of created tiles was 2.5 TB.

    ImageryCreator allows you to create tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8 and Mbtiles according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. The tile data generated by the application are used by software the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.

  • 22.03.2018 Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information performs evaluation of standards of fitness for aerodromes in accordance with the current Air Law of the Russian Federation
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information version 7.0.4 is developed. The new version optimizes the algorithms for input and output of airfield routes onto the map. Mode of drawing schemes SID/STAR/IAC is added, which allows to exclude common points and areas at the formation of schemes of departure and arrival.

    In connection with the changes in the aviation legislation of the Russian Federation, the task "Evaluation of standards of fitness for aerodromes (according to the ESFA)" of the this complex was fully included into the task "Conformity assessment of airfields to FAR requirements". In the task "Conformity assessment of airfields to FAR requirements", there are implemented the modes of import of obstacles from documents in MS Excel format and formation of applications to the passport of the aerodrome in MS Excel format. The algorithm for creating the base turn procedure RNAV Fly-Over has been improved.

    Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information is intended for the creation and maintenance of a database of aeronautical information, the formation of aeronautical charts, the designing of flight routes for aircraft and the exchange of data with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in ARINC and AIXM 5.1 format. The main source of aeronautical information is the aeronautical data base created on the basis of the Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model (AICM), with additions for storing the planned information and the results of the route designing. The model is recommended by the international organization for planning and coordination of air traffic "Eurocontrol".

  • 19.03.2018 In GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE a set of demonstration examples for studying the principles of working with MAPAPI and graphic components expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 12.3.0 is developed. In the new version the list of examples is supplemented with the typical functionality of GIS-applications: changing coordinates and characteristics of objects, the uniting and intersection of objects, work with the transaction log, transformation of the individual points and digital maps, performing calculations on maps, search by conditions (intersection, finding the distance, etc.), import of exchange formats and work with a GPS receiver. An example of connecting geoportals includes the ability to enter an arbitrary geoportal address.

    In the new version of a kernel of GIS applications a support of importing maps of SHP-format is added. Now the user can import as separate files SHP into maps of GIS "Panorama" format, and entirely a set of SHP-files, having specified the path to the directory. Reliability of working the visual components of Qt Designer is improved.

    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

    The toolkit is adapted to work on a wide range of platforms and supports operating systems such as Astra Linux SE, MSVS, CRTOS Neutrino, Elbrus, Zarya, Ubuntu, Alt Linux, QNX, CentOS and others. It can be used in computer complexes with processors of architectures ARMv7, Elbrus, PowerPC, Intel x86, Intel x64 and others.

  • 15.03.2018 GIS WebService SE raises speed of processing and displaying large amounts of spatial data
    GIS WebService SE version 12.0.1 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version of service the speed of execution of requests of objects search and displaying the tiles by standards of OGC WMS, OGC WMTS, OGC WFS is considerably increased. When displaying a spatial database located on the GIS Server and containing about 10 million objects in 12 layers, the speed of searching and issuing a list of objects at a point on average is 45 ms. Speed of displaying a fragment on the screen in format Full HD (1920Ρ…1080) in base scale 1: 10 000 on the average is 100 - 140 ms.

    The using the architecture of distributed and parallel calculations can significantly simplify the process and technology of interaction between users with large amounts of data, reduce the hardware requirements necessary for the operation of the server. The new version has expanded the service functionality for working with the Databank. For creation of new user layers on the GIS Server the requests of creating and copying the vector data were added. For building 3D terrain models, new requests for obtaining layer metadata, obtaining textures and materials from the SQLite database have been developed.

    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), through which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out.
    The program provides the ability to issue tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web-servers.

  • 07.03.2018 At the forum in Rostov-on-Don the GIS-technologies of KB "Panorama" for construction of a single information space of the agricultural holding are presented
    In Rostov-on-Don from February, 28th till March, 2nd, 2018 the XXI Agroindustrial forum of the South of Russia was held. Specialists of KB "Panorama" took part in the conference "Innovative technologies and technical means in agricultural production". At the event the presentation "GIS as a basis for formation of a digital enterprise" was demonstrated, which shows the application of KB Panorama software for building a single enterprise information space based on GIS.

    The presented system of interacting software modules fully meets one of the main goals of the development direction of the digital economy, concerning the information infrastructure specified in the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" - creation of effective system for collecting, processing, storing and providing spatial data to consumers that meets the needs of the state, business and citizens in the current and reliable information on spatial objects.

    As part of the conference, negotiations were held with the representative of the company "Farwater". As a result, an agreement was reached aimed at improving its own agrarian line of GIS, including "Panorama AGRO", "Workstation of Agronomist", GIS WebServer AGRO. In interaction with the universal GIS "Panorama" and GIS Server, these software products allow you to build complex distributed and scalable corporate information systems that allow you to automate a significant number of business processes of an enterprise working in the crop sector.

    To date, the forum is a major exhibition event of the agrarian theme, which gives start to spring field work in the south of Russia and is of great importance for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Southern Federal District. This year the agro-forum was visited by about 8000 specialists of the agro-industrial complex. More than 200 companies from Russia, Belarus, Poland, Hungary and other countries presented their achievements.

  • 06.03.2018 The architecture of the GIS Server is updated to support the work of several thousand clients as part of corporate information systems
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.4.12 is developed. The new version improves the performance and reliability of operations for editing spatial databases at high load on multi-core servers.

    GIS Server with PostgreSQL DBMS was tested in cooperation with GIS WebService SE and GIS WebServer SE when connecting several thousand web clients and executing up to 500 requests per second. The database can be edited simultaneously by external applications and through the graphic interface of programs the GIS WebServer SE, GIS "Panorama". GIS Server automatically tracks all changes and synchronizes the data state, which allows GIS WebService SE to issue actual graphic images by OGC WMS requests.

    The composition of diagnostic messages for analysis of contingencies has been expanded.
    The protocol of the GIS Server operation is formed in the UTF-8 encoding.

    GIS Server implementation has the same functionality for Windows and Linux platforms (AstraLinux SE, MSVS, CentOS, Elbrus and others) and allows you to organize cross-platform work with clients and on a network with several GIS Servers.

  • 28.02.2018 Complex of automated quality control and correction of digital maps corresponds to the requirements of an industrial system for processing large amounts of data
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of automated quality control and correction of digital maps of version 6.7 for the x64 platform is developed. The new version of the program accelerated the quality control procedure and changed the file format of the control parameters from binary CXM onto textual XML. Formation of a report on the results of control into HTML file has been added. \Control.Dot\ folder contains the prepared XML-files of the control parameter schemes with extension *.CXML and report documents templates in HTML format. The made changes allow to simplify the customizing the scheme of the map quality control. The complex of automated quality control and correction of maps now does not depend on office programs. It is possible to start a large number of programs of the complex to process several works regions and to form reports in HTML which are available for viewing on any platforms and in any OS. The complex of automated quality control and correction of maps meets the requirements of an industrial system for processing large amounts of data. Simplification of customizing the scheme of control of the complex allows to reduce the cost price of works on preparation of data and to lower requirements to qualification of the personnel working with spatial data.

    Complex of automated quality control and correction of digital maps is intended for obtaining a single digital map by initial digital maps in SXF format created by different classifiers. One of the main functions of the task of quality control and maps editing is the ensuring a correctness of topological relations of objects. The complex allows you to process digital city plans, digital topographic maps and digital geographical maps. The initial data for the complex is the folder with files of digital maps and plans in SXF format and digital classifiers in RSC format. In one session thousands of maps sheets can be processed with automatic correction, junction, recoding to a new classifier, sheets uniting, converting to a given projection, generating reports on individual sheets and a generalized report. The software can work around the clock, processing any amount of data. The complex of automated quality control and correction of digital maps consists of a set of programs: recoding and quality control of the Digital Topographic Maps with editing, control of the coordination of adjacent sheets of DTM, uniting the adjacent sheets of DTM, the analysis of the conformity of the object composition of maps and classifiers.

  • 20.02.2018 GIS WebServer SE implements the mode of virtual flight over a three-dimensional map
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 3.7.1 is developed. In the new version of the program for 3D maps the component "Viewing from air" is added. The mode simulates the flight over the terrain. User can change speed of flight and a corner of the viewing angle of territory. Trajectory of motion is calculated relative to the center of the map for the current scale. At a choice of objects in a point the taking into account of objects visibility range by scales is added. The administration module is updated.

    The web applications development tool the GIS WebToolKit SE has been refined, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service of GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain area with a given resolution.   • 16.02.2018 An article has been prepared on the development of a geoportal for the political and administrative division of Ecuador
    On the website of the KB "Panorama" an article was published on the creation of a reference system for the political and administrative division of Ecuador based on GIS WebServer SE. Authors of the article tell how developers can independently refine the interface and expand the functionality of the GIS WebServer SE program. The article presents examples of program code that implements the panel of the tree-list of the political and administrative division of the country, examines the stages of processing by the server of commands coming from the controls of this panel. It is in detail told, how the application processes requests for displaying territories of administrative units, with simultaneous moving and changing scale of a map. Authors explain work of mechanisms for obtaining from the database the reference information on the provinces and cantons selected on the map using the standard search modes and selection of objects.

    Geoportal "Ecuador" is a web site containing information about the political and administrative division of the country (as of 2017). Information on the territorial system of the state is presented in the form of maps and a brief text description for each administrative unit. As a cartographic basis, the map of Ecuador is used at a scale of 1: 1 000 000 and a scheme for organizing the territory at the provincial and cantonal levels.

    In KB "Panorama" the digital classifier of conventional symbols is developed for preparing a graphic part of documents of territorial planning in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation of 01/09/2018 β„– 10 "On approval of Requirements to the describing and displaying in documents of territorial planning of objects of Federal significance, objects of regional significance, objects of local significance and on the recognition of the decree of Ministry of Economic Development of Russia from December, 7th, 2016 β„– 793 as invalid" (Registered 01/31/2018 β„– 49832).

    In the classifier there is implemented a general list of layers, objects and attributive characteristics of objects of territorial planning and urban-planning activity. The digital classifier is included into structure of GIS "Panorama" and is used for the purposes of structuring and unifying the information on objects of federal significance, objects of regional significance and the objects of local significance necessary for preparing documents of territorial planning of the Russian Federation, subjects of the Russian Federation and municipal formations.

    The digital classifier can be used for information interaction of state and municipal information systems containing information on the status, restrictions of use and development of territories and the integration of this information in the federal state information system of territorial planning.

  • 08.02.2018 GIS WebServer SE expands capabilities of cloud computing geoinformation systems
    GIS WebServer SE version 3.7 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version of the program the possibility of search for crossings of objects is added. To perform operations of crossing, you can select objects from different map layers.

    Processing of user's actions in 3D mode is accelerated, at drawing a three-dimensional map only the objects of the displayed terrain area are used, the output of filling and point signs is optimised. Obtaining the images of wms-layers through uniting the expanded requests to the service is optimised.

    In the new version the possibility is added for remote viewing the log of the application. The log is created monthly, it contains information about user actions in the system and errors. When viewing the log, you can search and filter records by any field, for example by date, event type or user name.

    In the KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE, version 12.2.0, is developed for embedding into the developed control systems of geoinformation components, for support of unified exchange by spatial data, and implementation of a network-centric service-oriented architecture.

    The toolkit is adapted to work on a wide range of platforms and supports operating systems such as Astra Linux SE, MSVS, CRTOS Neutrino, Elbrus, Zarya, Ubuntu, Alt Linux, QNX and others. It can be used in computer systems with processors of ARM, Elbrus, PowerPC, Freescale i.MX, NVIDIA Tegra 3, Intel-compatible with x86 and x64 architecture and others.

The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

  • 31.01.2018 The geoportal "Ecuador" shows the key features of GIS Web Server SE for reference system creating
    KB Panorama created the geoportal "Ecuador", which displays information about the political and administrative division of Ecuador as of 2017. Information about the country territorial organization is represented by maps and small textual references for each province and canton.

    Geoportal "Ecuador" uses GIS WebServer SE version 3.6 as a platform and demonstrates the key properties of this system for reference and information systems creating. Users can change the map display scale, to seek for an administrative unit, the settlement and other map objects by their names or by a set of criteria, to measure the distance or the area, to print out interesting them map fragments etc, when working with data.

    GIS WebService SE is a source for the geoportal cartographic data, that stores map of Ecuador on a scale of 1: 1000000 and a organizing territory scheme at the provincial and cantonal level. Cartographic data access is carried out using WMS, WMTS and WFS protocols. The provinces and cantons text information are reading from the MySQL database using standard sql-queries.

  • 24.01.2018 Map of Perm Krai on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" is updated
    On the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" the map of the Perm Krai formed according to OpenStreetMap data, has been updated. Source data obtained from the GIS-Lab website are complemented by objects from maps of scale 1: 1 000 000. There are added the objects of hydrography, vegetation, road network. For work with the received maps it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

    Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps and images".

  • 22.01.2018 Tests of GIS "Operator" for OS "Elbrus" are completed
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" tested compatibility of GIS "Operator" SE with OS "Elbrus" for architecture x86_64. During tests, there was tested the interaction of the GIS "Operator" SE for the "Elbrus" OS with the server software solutions of GIS Server and GIS WebService SE on Linux and Windows platforms. The result of tests demonstrates the readiness of using the GIS "Operator" SE as a component in a single geoinformation platform.

    GIS "Operator" is an universal domestic geoinformation system for power structures. The program is intended for accumulation, the storage, the automated processing and displaying the data, results of calculations and the forecasts having a geospatial binding. GIS "Operator" contains tools for displaying and processing vector, raster and matrix maps. The application provides users with tools for solving specialized tasks of modeling the movement of special objects against the background of 3D model, a forecasting the consequences of emergencies on hazardous objects, a monitoring the movement of aircraft, a performing the geodetic and topographic work, processing data from GPS/GLONASS navigation devices, a printing the displayed spatial data to various output devices and many others. GIS "Operator" SE is certified by the 2nd level of control of the absence of undeclared capabilities in the RF Ministry of Defense.

    OS Elbrus is a domestic operating system based on the Linux kernel for the Elbrus architecture processors, developed at JSC "MCST". The operating system provides multitasking and multi-user modes of operation. For it, special mechanisms have been created for managing processes, virtual memory, interrupts, signals, synchronization, and support by tagged computations. In the core of the Elbrus operating system, a set of information security tools (SIST) is built from unauthorized access. The full functioning the SIST of system of the "Elbrus" OS should provide the required level of information protection from unauthorized access during the work of the computer complex as part of specialized automated systems. SIST is implemented using system calls, subroutines libraries, system configuration.

  • 17.01.2018 "Workstation of cadastral engineer" provides simultaneous formation of the technical plan for several objects of real estate
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 12.5.3 is developed. In the new version in the "Geodesy calculations complex" there are updated the modes for formation of a technical plan for the building, construction, the object under construction and premises. The program provides processing of several one-type real estate objects at creation of the text report and electronic XML document.

    The initial information for forming a technical plan is taken from the map containing the boundaries of real estate objects. For buildings, constructions and objects under construction the digital cadastral map is used presented in the coordinate system that is applied to conducting the Unified State Real Estate Register. For the premises, the buildings plans or floor plans are used, presented in the local (conditional) coordinate system. For the purpose of collective use, a cadastral map, a building plan and floor plans can be located on the GIS Server. To support the simultaneous processing of several real estate objects the dialog "Technical plan" is refined. A new page "Objects" has been added, containing information on cadastral numbers, location, characteristics of objects, their parts and premises inside the real estate object. Transition to groups and elements for input and editing of the data is ordered. It is now possible to save the list of attached documents for reuse.At formation of XML-file for multiplanimetric real estate object the continuous numbering of characteristic points of borders for all contours of object is supported.
